I have a bus rented from M&V limo company for a friends 21st birthday party this weekend. Although I have not yet taken the bus, I am thrilled with the amazing customer service I received so far. The process of renting the bus ran very smoothly. Eric was quickly able to find me an appropriate bus for the event/amount of people that were in the group and was able to book it right away over the phone. Unfortunately, the number of people in our group changed and the price of the bus was out of budget for us. I was afraid that I would have to cancel the bus. Despite the inconvenience, Jenna was very accommodating and made a change in our reservation to provide us with a new vehicle that fit into in our price range. Although I wish that we were able to afford the original bus that we rented l, I am so thankful that she was able to make this change so that the party can still go on. Nothing short of a catalogue of errors. From the beginning it was, shall we say, a little hit and miss with M & V Limousines. They are quick to speak to you when you want to make a reservation, but after that, getting anyone (especially the person you made the reservation with) to communicate with you is nigh on impossible. You can call, leave messages, email constantly, but once the money is paid then don't expect them to be the slightest bit concerned about you wanting to amend pickup or drop off times or venue locations. I had to make a real nuisance of myself to change times slightly and only then could I get it confirmed 4 days before my venue that it would work. As a surprise for my bride to arrive at the church I style, I hired the vintage 1958 Rolls Royce Wraith. Imagine my (initially pleasant surprise) that 18 hours before it was due to arrive, I got what I presumed to be a courtesy call to run through the schedule for the following day. Wrong! It was to let me know that there was a problem with the car and they would "work on it all night" to make sure my big day started how I wanted it to. But, there's a chance it may not be fixed in time and they'd call me at 10am the following morning to let me know. 10am came, no phone call. By 11am, I decided I should call as it was needed to arrive in 3 hours. I, optimistically, assumed that no phone call meant the problem has been fixed and it's business as usual. Wrong again! The car can't be fixed in time. Regardless of the fact they didn't ever call me to tell me theism that's was disappointing as the Wraith actually had some minor sentimental value attached to it. However, I can always have the 1958 vintage Bentley Rolls Royce, right? Wrong yet again! That isn't working either! On being told that, I was then given less than 30 minutes to make a decision about what car I wanted (shame you didn't you stick to your own 10am deadline) and I was offered an antique Madame X Bridal Car or a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom. Upon investigating, the "Bridal Car" is really a "kit car", i.e. one someone's made from a load of numbered parts so there's nothing antique about it. It's a modern, cheap imitation! Furthermore, the "new" Phantom isn't new at all, it's a 2008 model! So, 7 years old for my wedding! All this left a bit of a sour taste in my mouth. With 2,5 hours to go before they were supposed to arrive, I eventually decided on the "new Phantom" T driver was the only good thing about the company. He was awesome, and the car was absolutely fine. Just completely not what I ever wanted. It arrived on time and the driver was a great guy to have on our wedding day. We weren't charged any more (thankfully), we got champagne and a red carpet, but the "Just Married" wedding sign never materialized. To be honest, though, I was just relieved something with 4 wheels turned up on time! read more

shame on your company for not even responding to my emails or calls when we were on your so called 55 passenger party bus (we had 36 people and were tight) and the a/c was not working on a hot July day. After numerous calls and not 1 call back, we will never use your company again Booked for my husband surprise bday trip to wineries - they told me bus would hold 55 people - barely got 36 on - it was so so hot on there the driver told us once we get going the a/c will kick in - it never did terrible - when I called 2 times to complain while on the bus they told me they would call me back and never did - would never use them again also the condition of the bus was not what the pictures showed - one glass was cracked - and the rubber from one window was flapping in the wind - the floor used to be a white wood - it was old and outdated - very upsetting read more

Due to unforeseen circumstances my group needed to cancel our limo reservation. I gave M&V Limousines a full month's notice that I was cancelling. They refused to refund my $100 deposit, alluding to a "cooling off" rule that says they don't need to return the deposit after 72 hours. This was not on the receipt they sent me confirming my reservation. This is a bad business practice that will instill no loyalty or confidence in using or recommending this company in the future. I recently used M&V to plan a surprise party for my fiancé. I rented a party bus to take us to a couple vineyards, and from start to finish this company was beyond professional and reliable. When calling the company, Darian explained everything in length and assisted with my scheduling needs during all follow up phone calls. Our bus driver was early, extremely polite, friendly, and accommodating the whole trip. It was wonderful to not have to worry about anything the entire day because everything was executed perfectly. I recently participated in the Empire games in Cortland NY and the tour bus company we used was M&V Limo. I enjoyed the trip immensely. The bus was clean and comfortable but most importantly our bus driver, Tom, was the best. He was patient, courteous, friendly, happy, punctual, entertaining, and pleasant. I booked a limo with M&V limousine for my daughter's prom and there was a mix up with the online reservation so I ended up booking another company. The transaction actually did go through and my credit card was charged. I called RJ to explain the mix up and he immediately refunded my account while I was on the phone with him. The bus was great to transport our large group through NY without costing us a ton of money. Mark is a great guy, easy to work with and will give you a great deal. They have a ton of different options on vehicles so take your pick! The drivers are awesome and very helpful. I have used this company three times and this will be my last . The first time I used this company , I had driver who was not up to date in technology , and had a hard time with GPS. He said he is normally a truck driver and uses paper maps . He was subsequently let go . The 2 Nd time over Labor Day weekend they sent me a sprinter van that was dirty and the van looked like it was falling apart , they were good enough to replace it , but this set my trip back 1.5 hours . I have now used them a 3 rd time , and this time they did it again , sent me a dirty limo , looked like no one cleaned it from the night before . They replaced the limo , and this set my trip back 2 hours as they got a replacement . Just be weary about them . They try to get away with inadequacies , and hopefully you won't notice . read more

Used the company a little over a week ago. Provided 2 limo's and a shuttle bus. The '10' passenger limo that only fit 8 (barely; and not large people) was a nightmare. A/C definitely wasn't working. I had to call another person back from 5 miles away to take 3 people from the group because we could not fit all in limo. It clearly has 8 NOT 10 seats in it. Maybe would fit a bunch of 16 years olds going to a Jr. prom but definitely not adults. My husband (father of the bride) was one of the lucky ones to get into the other car - he was one of the least resistant as we had 4, 80-90 year olds as part of that group; so I couldn't even ride with my husband to my daughters wedding ( I opted to stay with the older people who were upset at this point) which was an hour from where we were. An hour and a half of this day was totally ruined. I called the company a few days later and spoke with Ray to explain the situation and was told that we were given all these 'extras' - "We threw in a better limo - a Mercedes; the other was a 2015 with the Lamborghini door" - who cares - we just wanted a comfortable ride and what we paid for - we didn't ask for the extras and we certainly do not care what emblems are on the vehicle. As for them telling us that the 10 passenger would only fit 8 when we told them we needed a 10 passenger, it was never said! If we asked for a 10, we should have gotten a 10 (or a 12 if it wouldn't fit 10). The 2 stars are for my limo. The other 2 were fine. Just we wary. read more

I had an excellent experience with M&V Limos. My friends and I ordered a 30-person coach bus to take us to and from a wedding on 7/31/16, and it couldn't have worked out better. The bus was way nicer than we were expecting; Ray and RJ great to work with beforehand to get a quote and create a reservation; and our driver Chris was awesome on the day of. We were able to bring food and drink on the bus, play music, connect to wifi, etc. with no problems at all. I have used M&V a number of times now. They consistently on time with very knowledgeable and friendly drivers. The office staff is very attentive with calls to verify the pickup or drop-off times. Terrible Company-Do not use! Wish I could give 0 stars I ordered a car service to pick up my 15 year old daughter and a friend in the Hamptons on 8/14 to drive them home to Westchester. Soon after picking them up the driver, Zoltaire, stopped at a Starbucks, took the keys from the car and left the girls in the parking lot without saying a word. My daughter called me alarmed. She didn't know why he left them in the car because he gave no explanation to them when he left. I called the company to tell them what was happening and they said there was no one that I could speak to but someone would call me back. I said that I needed someone to call me back immediately because I was concerned for my daughter and her friend's welfare. No one called me back that day. I wound up speaking on my phone to my daughter for the rest of the ride home to make sure that the driver didn't do anything else strange. On 8/23 (9 days later) a man named Billy from "customer service" called and left a message on my voice mail. I called him back after my vacation on 8/29. Billy said that the driver was one of their top drivers and that he must of had to go to the bathroom. He had not even spoken to the driver! Ridiculous customer service. Terrible company. I am still not sure why the driver stopped in the first place and left the 2 girls in the parking lot for several minutes but I do know that I will never use this company again. read more

I Never got my money back from the limo company even though I was promised by the manager Jay. He made me wait DAYS after replying. I ended my night early because the entertainment wasn't working and my driver was scary and kept mentioning a tip. I HAD MONEY TO PAY FOR HIS TIP. He made me feel very uncomfortable. I will NEVER EVER get limos for any of my events from here ever again. Service was horrible and the fact that it took so long for the MANAGER to get back to me showed me that my issue wasn't important. I understand that it's prom season BUT if you say you're going to call me back by the end of the day to follow up then do it. Even if you don't have the answer tell me. Then finally days later after waiting for a response from the manager instead of just getting giving me my money back for the hour I didn't use the limo for he offered to give me a credit so I can use it for the next time. I don't even want to think about them and the headache they caused me. Why would I want to get a credit I'm never coming back. Still waiting for the money to go back to my card even though Jay said it would be back in the next couple of days .... It's been 2 weeks. Then the manager "Mark Vigilante" emailed me after I complained to their survey and said he was going to credit me my money to my card which was a week ago and it never happened. Then I emailed him and he never got back to me. Just recently called and was on hold for the last 40 mins just for someone to tell me there wasn't a manager available. This is the worst experience with any company I have ever had. I regret choosing them this is the worst customer service. My issue clearly isn't important to them even though they promise the best customer service. I'm tired of getting the run around and MANAGERS lying to me. This is horrible. I just want my money back my next step is to show up to their office or go to a small claims court. I'm so annoyed words cannot describe how horrible my Experience has been. read more

The bus looks like it hadn't been updated since the 90s, stains on the seat, speakers falling off, AND it's 100 degrees on the bus because the air is broken. We always use M&V for our transportation needs. Most recently my husband & I had a pick up at JFK airport. The driver was so friendly, kind and considerate and most importantly a responsible driver! We were sent a beautiful limo to pick us up which was very clean and the ride home was very enjoyable! To me, the most important thing when picking a limo service is to know you will feel safe & comfortable with the driver & the car which M&V always lives up to! We were prepared to have a really great day exploring the North Fork Wineries - as the marketing and advertising suggested for the day trip. We were grossly wrong in our expectations. As we entered the bus, there was an extremely rambunctious crowd, popping open vodka and champagne bottles and shouting at the tops of their voices. This was around 8:30am! They continued to drink and shout getting excessively drunk on the ride out, with zero respect for the others on the bus, not in their group. They were shouting about various sexual escapades, the drugs they do and how they do them, acquire them, and even cook them in the microwave. Things no one should have to hear about .... dare I say EVER .... much less on the expected lovely peaceful and enjoyable day for wine touring. The crowd of course only continued to escalate in poor manners, volume and disturbing behavior through out the day. Two of the women on the bus got into a screaming match because one touched the other as she walked by. They were in the seats immediately behind my boyfriend and I and began Jabbing and pointing fingers, yelling and nearly became a physical altercation, but someone in their group separated the women. At one point when the language was so loud and vulgar, my boyfriend requested politely that they just lower the volume. The response to him was "you should just turn around and watch the road you asshole! You came on a drinking fest trip what the F&@k did you expect?" He said, "I am not trying to spoil your fun, just requesting the noise level be turned down a notch". She responded with more screaming nasty things at him. He stopped responding. I'm just not sure when "wine tasting" was ever billed as "drinking fest"... we surely must have read different advertisements! Then begins the singing and more shouting and rapping/singing... by a women who grabs the bus microphone but the noise keeps making the interference screeching sound that would make anyone cringe.... she refuses to return the microphone and continues to put on a show for the bus with all of us cringing as the microphone gives extremely loud feedback and screeching for the next 30 or so minutes. Had I known that my hard earned money would be spent stuck on a bus for 6 hours with people so disrespectful, crude, and loud .... with out any care for their neighbor ... had I known that this company sells a service for those looking to "get f#*%&d up" --- I would have NEVER IN MY LIFE purchased this trip. Also, I think it's important to note, we like to go out and have a good time, and silliness is a part of having a fun time and a little noise is not an issue... this was extreme on all levels. We actually came with our newly engaged best friends on this trip and couldn't even speak to them on the bus as the noise was so completely out of control with the sex and drug talk. We were sold a "lovely trip to the wine country in the north fork" but instead were given a front row seat to all that can go wrong when socializing with such disrespectful and tasteless people. If you are a company selling a service for those who want a wild party day.... please market it as such and do not mislead those who may not find that type of activity appealing. And, for those of your clients who want to actually enjoy wine tasting, learn about the vineyards and wine making .... have a separate tour! This was the biggest waste of money and I'm so sad that we had our newly engaged best friends come over to celebrate with a wine tour only to be sorely disappointed and brutally treated on what should have been a really enjoyable Saturday together. This company is a disgrace. We ordered and paid a lot of money to hire a bus in the Hamptons. The driver was sent to the wrong location. When we called the company, we were put on hold like forever. Eventually, some of our friends who had left the party found the driver and escorted him to us as he did not know the area at all. In all, our guests, for whom we had rented the bus, had to sit outside the restaurant for an hour and the after-party was curtailed. They had to explain to the driver how to get to the destination. You might have thought that M&V would have at minimum apologized for these mistakes and offered some compensation but we have yet to hear from them. Further we have phoned them multiple times. The "manager" responsible for our "service" is curiously never available to take our call AND has never called back in spite of repeated promises from his colleagues that he would do so. In conclusion, fellow residents of the Hamptons, we strongly recommend, based on our experience, NEVER use M&V Limousine. read more

Over the summer I used this company for my daughter's Sweet 16, I paid cash and then almost 2 weeks later they tried to bill my credit card on file but before they did they call to let me know. The woman in the line asked if I knew a person of a certain name from the fire department, I said no. She said somehow our bills are crossed and I was paying for service to someone else. I shrugged it off because my card wasn't charged. But I was pretty pissed. The driver was nice but it was a terrifying ride back from the city, One I will never forget. read more

THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! For a friend's wedding on Long Island, 10 of us wanted a ride back to Manhattan and Hoboken Saturday evening after the wedding (12:30am). The wedding was at a beach club very far from public transportation or taxi service of any kind. I called several limo company's with varying interest in this type of service approx 3 weeks in advance. M&V was only interested if I bought a 5hour package. With few other options, we decided it was still worth it despite only needing a car for about an hour and a half. Over the phone, they quoted one price. On their website another price was listed. I booked through the website and NEVER received any confirmation phone or email. A few days later I called to look into it, they claimed they were not sure how I wasn't entered into the system, apologized, quoted me a 3rd price (higher), and booked the trip. I did receive a call Friday afternoon confirming our reservation however Saturday night, the night of the wedding, about 45 minutes before the car was scheduled to arrive they called to tell me our car was not going to make it and I should "find alternate transportation". After exchanging several phone calls with them, they told me they could send another car after it was done with its current trip and I could expect it to arrive around 2:30 AM. Luckily another guest of the wedding had scheduled a taxi with a local company a few towns away. When their driver showed up, we spoke with him and he radioed back to dispatch to arrange 2 mini vans to pick us up with about 30 minutes wait. Not sure how you can reserve a vehicle for 10 unsuspecting people, take a deposit, and then just cancel leaving them stranded away from home. DO NOT USE M&V LIMOUSINE. read more

I've used this company twice. Once for my wedding in 2010, along with a few friends around the same time that used them as well. Everything went well with the limo, as we only needed one from the hotel to the church, and then around the corner for my parents house to the church. The coach bus that picked guests up from the hotel was another issue unfortunately. The driver seemed to take forever and guests realized that he had no idea where he was going, and was not following his GPS. Since 2010, I've used other companies for transportation when needed. Just last month, I received a quote that was very reasonable for my sisters bachelorette party. I figured it had been plenty of time and should give them a chance again, especially when they're quote beat many others I had researched. I was extremely pleased with using them this night. The driver, Gary, showed up a half hour early just because he liked to be early, as he told us. He was very personable, and took us into the city with no issues. The limo was in good condition and all of the girls were pleased. When it was time to be picked up, a quick text worked best and he was there in no time. We rented a RR and a limo for our wedding, and service was simply outstanding. Our chauffeurs (I'm terrible with remembering names - Steve and Joe if I recall well) couldn't be more courteous and flexible, given our many unexpected scheduling changes that day. And the upgrades on both cars were among the great surprises on our wedding: the antique RR and 6-seater limo we booked were upgraded to a modern RR and 8-seater limo at no additional cost. The modern RR wowed many of our guests. I will definitely use them for my future events as well as recommend it to my friends. Only caveat: when I booked, I was told that the charge could be paid by CC, only to be told the day just before the wedding that they took only money orders or bank checks. The timing was just not particularly ideal for a trip to the post office. read more
