I have to give M&V 5 stars!! This past weekend I had to get from Saint James to Islip Airport to board a flight to my nieces wedding in Florida. We had a mess of a snowstorm come in unexpectedly and not a single taxi company would come get me because of the road conditions. The team at M&V went above and beyond, never hesitating to do everything possible to get me there on time for my flight. Within 1 hour of calling they showed up with an AWD Range Rover and we made record time through the horrific road conditions to get me to the airport with plenty of time to spare! I don't know why I haven't reviewed this business by now but here it is..our agent was Ryan. We booked this place for our wedding in June. Not only did they show up 35 minutes late, the showed up with a party bus that we did NOT choose and the AC was not working on a very hot and important day! My husbands best man had to get dirty and fix the ac because this same bus was going to be the bus that was taking us and the entire bridal party to the receotion after church. We were so behind schedule that the bridesmaids had to jump in with the groomsman and my husband had to get a ride to the church in my cousins car. Then the old fashion car we ordered rolled up almost 40 minutes late and as I'm just about to get into the photographers car to get to the church because I can't have people wait any longer. Mind you, all my girls were calling while we were waiting to get an eta, update, anything and they just kept hanging up on them cause I guess they didn't want to deal with them. Umm, I'm sorry but I was told by Ryan if I was a minute late for the cars scheduled departure time I'd be charged 1 hour overtime...but you guys were almost a whole hour late and screwed up all my pictures and schedule for the day and I have to just eat it!?!? Ok...then the next day when I spoke to Ryan he really tried to tell me that was the bus I chose when I know what I chose and that was not it. Then after the church the bus driver takes the most senior route, idk wth he was doing but he took nearly 2 hrs to get to the hall which made us miss cocktail hour and we had to take out wedding pics indoors instead of outside in the beautiful sunny garden because he made us so late. My best friends parents left Astoria to go to Westbury an hr after us and got there before us! I had a cousin go have lunch and go home, take a shower, do her hair and makeup and still got there 30 mins before us!!!! I could go on but there's just so many crooked things about this place and the fact that I lost out on my pictures erks me to the bone. This place is a poor excuse and waste. I have a ton of ppl I know getting married and i tell them don't even think of calling this place. A cousin of mine said he wished I told him who we were going to book because he had a bad experience with then as well. They ripped him off and would not give his deposit back when they booked a car for him that they no longer had and refused to give him his deposit back! Are you kidding me!?! Ryan did send us car service for our honeymoon, back and fourth and a car ride home the night of out wedding to try and make it up to is but it will never get me back the pics I wanted to take so bad and the cocktail hour we wanted to attend at out once in a lifetime wedding. I wish I could rate different parts of this company, such as the drivers, the vehicles, office staff, etc! Since I cannot, I will briefly list my experience with this company! FIVE STARS for our drivers....we were a large group with a lot of luggage! Not only were our drivers professional, but they were timely, patient, helpful and we felt safe in their care! Thank you to both of our drivers!! FIVE STARS for our vehicles...they were clean, comfortable, spacious and well maintained! Glad to see that the money we spent for our trip was well worth it for the ride! NO STARS for the billing department...I called SEVERAL times to ensure that the billing would be handled correctly as we were splitting the bill amongst many people, I asked to have our account noted (which it clearly was) I verified with each driver that the account was clearly noted with our payment preference - thought I did everything right...UNTIL I realized that the billing department made a billing mistake (and billed us AGAIN after we PAID our balance in FULL). If I had not been diligent and checked my account, they easily could have overbilled me and I would have been none the wiser (at a rather hefty charge). Clearly there needs to be a better business practice in the billing area!!! The "notes" section of the invoice actually has some important information...do not overlook this section when reviewing customer accounts PRIOR to any additional billing actions! So my advice to anyone looking to book with this company; overall they did the job as promised, we were very happy with their services. HOWEVER...its extremely important to be diligent when it comes to the billing....and to be aware of the charges you will incur, watch your statements!!!! read more

M & V Limos has failed me yet again. I would not recommend this limo company to anyone I want to see arrive at their destination without a hassle and a headache. I first used the company in March of 2018 for a surprise party. The 45 passenger party bus arrived late, the AC did not work properly, and the fumes in the bathroom were unbearable. The best part of the day was the driver. He as very patient and accommodating to my party. After my sister in law wrote a review on YELP we were contacted. The company asked us to remove the review and guaranteed they would do something to compensate me, which they did. I was offered a gift certificate, I am sure M&V has offered many "I am sorry" certificates. Welllll I decided to use the certificate for airport transportation in May 2018. I figured I would receive 100% satisfaction especially since they were aware of the first mishap. Wellll I was wrong the Lincoln limo arrived with a flat tire. Thank goodness I asked the company to arrive 3 hours in advance. The company sent someone to change the tire, oh yeah a spare was not in the trunk, and a newer better limo. My party and I happily choose to be transported in the newer model and arrive at JFK on time. Today (5/24/18) I had the displeasure of being disappointed by the company again. Except this time 100 students were affected. Two charter buses were supplied by M&V to transport 100 students and 10 chaperones to CT. WE NEVER MADE IT!!! At the school the second bus was LATE (driver was given wrong school information, I saw the paper with my own eyes) and the bus failed the district's inspection. The bus arrived with a broken side mirror, no proof of registration and no insurance cards. We waited an hour for a mechanic to arrive with the paper work and repair the mirror. Something told us we should have reschedule the trip but the teachers did not want to disappoint the children. Our destination was just 2 hours away. One hour into the trip the second bus flagged the first, we pulled over to the side of the road. The bus engine light was on and the bus was over heating. WE NEVER MADE IT!! One bus returned to the school while the other waited an hour for a replacement bus to transport 50 students and 5 teachers back to the school building. Vinny accommodated my last minute request for my friend and I to do the wine tour and I'm so grateful!! He was really nice and made sure to answer all my questions. I'll preface this review by saying if you're thinking about booking M&V please take the time to read this long review. I didn't do my research on them and I should have. Don't go forward thinking the bad reviews may be one-off situations. They were the only vendor from my wedding that went wrong, terribly wrong. All these reviews about "bait and switch" and the sending dirty/poor cars are true. I witnessed it myself, unfortunately for me, at my wedding. I was more than disappointed with M&V for my wedding on October 21, 2017. First I got a call during my photos, an hour before my antique car was to arrive to drive my wife to church, saying the Rolls Princess I requested and paid for was leaking antifreeze and that I was getting a Bentley instead. We wanted pictures with a classic car, so this was extremely disappointing. Along with that I was not the contact for the car and would have preferred them call the listed contact instead. When I called to ask for an explanation 2 days after the wedding I was told "why did you book an antique car? They're old and it's a crapshoot. The salesman should've told you". Some response! That's not true about antique cars, just THEIR antique cars. Read through reviews, this isn't the first time their antique cars have failed so close to pickup time. I was told by their director of client relations when I asked them not to charge me for it that they're protected in their contracts because the Bentley is "of equal or greater value". This is terrible, and that it happens to others seems fishy to me... Then my 2 limos showed up for the bridal party. One with a huge dent and black scuff on the front passenger side, a prime spot for pictures. The photographer had to work his pictures around covering up the dent. Terrible. Then the other limo was disgustingly filthy on the inside. It looked like the limo just dropped off another party then immediately came to pick us up. Pretzel crumbs on the chairs, filthy floors, napkins on the floors, used cups in the cup holders. And the white seats were black with filth. Gross. Check out the attached pictures. My mom was hesitant to get in because she didn't want her dress getting dirty. I felt the same way about getting my tux dirty but I had to get to church so had my groomsmen clean me up after I got out. When I complained the driver said "it isn't my department" then didn't even help us in and out of the cars. Then the shuttle I booked was supposed to make continuous runs starting at 11pm but for some reason the company told the driver to make 3 trips at specific times that made no sense. I paid for 8 hours of continuous service. The fact that they were told specifically to make 3 trips makes no sense. Why pay extra for continuous service to have the bus sitting there? I was told "you shouldn't have confirmed those times with us".... I didn't. They messed up and won't own up to it. Not a single thing went right. A lot of money was spent for such a terrible and cheap looking fleet of cars. Disappointed isn't even the right word for how I feel. They were the only vendor who gave us an issue yesterday. My wife and I weren't happy at all with them. The reason I could even justify giving one star is because the bus driver Desire was awesome, fun, and hilarious. It's a shame she was given the wrong information. The worst part is the way they are currently handling their response. I'm trying to explain my issue to them and it is pure chaos. I literally got screamed at by their "Director of Customer Relations" Rob Collins who at first I thought was a nice guy. We had a pleasant first phone call, then he called me back after that initial civilized phone call and accused my family of being liars. He legitimately screamed at me and the phone call went sour quickly. So unprofessional. I've never experienced this in my life. For example, when I told him my grandma had to find another ride home because the shuttle wasn't running he called the driver Desire to ask her what happened, and then called me back to say "the driver says she saw an old lady on the bus, so i think your grandma is mistaken". What a joke! Do you think it's possible there are multiple elderly people at a wedding? How rude and idiotic. Some director of relations they have there. Then he bragged about how he sold his company to M&V so prides himself on customer relationships. What a blatant lie and joke. Since he cursed me out and wouldn't stop screaming accusations at me I had no choice but to cut him off and hang up on him. Now more than a week later they're unresponsive. STAY AWAY! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! * Terrible customer service, communication and drove us on illegal to drive bus. 1. Planned a 25 person wine tour. They work with a wine company - M&V did not tell the wine company the information for my reservation. The day before the tour I called the wine company to confirm it all and we had completely different itineraries. I had to change my entire plan. Thank goodness I called and worked it out myself, otherwise i would have missed all my winery reservations. 2. M&V outsourced my bus and driver to another company. They did not call and inform me they were outsourcing our ride. The outsourced company drove us on an illegal bus, it was missing an entire window. The driver did not even realize until we told him once the ride had started. There was no emergency window. Anyone could just jump or fall out the bus. 3. I was told there was no overtime charge, they then changed me overtime, $500. When i called to work it out with them they told me they were going to take care of it and reverse the charge. I even have it in writing. They never credited me or took care of it. I called back 3x and cannot get a call back. I have to get my bank involved. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible company. My daughter was married in October and I rented what I thought was a '47 rolls Royce to pick her and her new husband up at the house and drive them to the reception, as a wedding present. I made the arrangements in Commack and paid cash. Thank god I held on to my receipt because some woman called a few days prior to the event from a Nassau office and requested final payment. When I told her I paid in Commack, she said they had " no record of that." I had to give her my receipt number. When I made the reservations, I requested a sign for the back of the car that said, " JUST MARRIED!" You have to understand, this is my one and Only child..my daughter....and I wanted everything to be perfect! I'm sure those who are reading this can relate to that! So, on the day of the wedding the driver arrived on time but there was no sign on the back of the car. I asked him where the sign was and he said, " It fell off on the way here!" okkk.. somethings I guess can't be helped... then I gave him a generous tip and asked him NOT to drop them off at the reception until Noon, as I wanted everyone to get there and they could make an entrance. When they got in the car and were driving off I said to the driver, " Blow the horn all the way through the development" as the horn plays Here Comes The Bride! Well, he blew the horn a few times and that was it. My daughter said he didn't blow it anymore after that. Then, the driver said it was "58 Rolls" not a "47"ok... no big deal. I'm not picky the car looked nice...."looked" being the keyword here.... But she said as they were driving, when they got to a certain speed, there was a big bang and then the driver said, " ok, open your windows that bang was the air conditioner shutting off!" Then everything started rattling! She thought they were going to get stuck on the side of the road! Could you imagine?? On your wedding day!! The driver dropped them at the reception at 11:45 not the 12 noon as I requested! Plus, the company never even called to see how my experience was! For the amount of money I paid and the special day it was, a business such as this should call, as a courtesy, to check that everything was how we wanted! Wow this company is AWESOME! From the very first call, to the drop off at my house, I was blown away. Darian helped me book my trip and was extremely professional, patient and friendly. He literally answered all emails within 5 minutes-- more companies should be like this. Customer service is everything! Nick, our driver, was fantastic. He was 30 minutes early and even helped me make telephone calls regarding an issue I was having with a delivery that was to be made at the event I was hosting. Yesterday we used this company for a day out East. I was skeptical because people that we were with and myself both had have late drivers in the past (10-15 years ago) but not only was our driver early she was so nice, helpful and mindful of EVERYTHING! I think they have turned a new leaf. I cannot say enough about our experience with our driver Carissa. Highly recommend her if you will be using this company! She made our trip fun, safe and literally made sure if we needed anything she didn't have she would get. This company has poor customer service and is unreliable! We contracted an antique model car for our daughter's wedding. The driver was 45 minutes late, apparently caught in unanticipated traffic, and never let us know. We were preparing to drive ourselves when he pulled up. We lost critical and imperative time for pre-ceremony family and bridal party wedding photos and were racing to the church to walk down the aisle on time. The car was charming but rickety; the windows didn't close and the door was difficult to close completely. When I contacted the owner, he took no responsibility for the lateness & offered no refunds. It is risky to to business with this company. Especially since payment is in advance and is cash. There is no financial recourse in the event they screw up. read more

PLEASE DO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY. I am still dealing with M&V Limousines a year after we booked with them for my sister's bachelorette party. The least of my complaints is that they were 45 minutes late for the event and their sound system did not work. The night of we were told by the office that we could only settle our bill in cash and could not charge our remaining balance to the credit card on file for the deposit. So we complied and paid the driver in cash.. MONTHS later this company has sent me emails, calls and left voicemails every few months claiming that we have a remaining balance with them and that they are running my credit card for a large sum. Thankfully I had cancelled the card they have on file. THIS IS THE THIRD TIME THEY HAVE TRIED TO RUN MY CREDIT CARD. They are so unorganized and irresponsible that when I call back to dispute they apologize nonchalantly and say they realize this bill has been settled and will not contact me again. This last time they threatened to forward the account to collections. No one should have to deal with this when trying to enjoy a celebratory event. This a 100 stars company. From the booking till our driver dropped us off at the last location the service was amazing. Very professional. With soooo many limo companies serving the tri state are it gets overwhelming when you start searching for one. But trust me, once you find this one you can stop looking, this is it. Their customer service is amazing, from their online chat with customer representative on their website to the booking agent and their very well dressed and friendly drivers. To be honest, I wasnt expecting much because of past experiences renting limos. But me and my friends all agree this was our favorite company. I book 2 limos for a bachelor party and a both drivers were on time, well dressed and had the itinerary ready. The limos look great, like-new condition. Really clean and with all the bells and whistles. We booked 3 weeks in advance and were told that since we did that early, they would put a note to upgrade our limos if something better was available that night, and they did! They upgraded both limos. And boy, the upgrade was almost like buying a coach ticket and get seats on first class! Very important to note, their prices are very competitive and clear. No hidden charges or anything. The only minor thing Id suggest they change is their min booking hours. Wish they could start at 3 instead of 5, but regardless of that the are worth every penny! Working with M & V was the worst choice we made for our entire wedding. The limo driver got lost on the way to our first look, with everyone else in the wedding party following him, and spent 40 minutes driving in circles for what should have been a 10 minute trip. This caused us to lose a huge chunk of our photo time, which we were not able to make up later on due to the weather. There are so many important photos we were not able to get because of this, things I had my heart set on from day 1 of planning. Working with M&V Limousines was an absolute pleasure. From the moment we sat down and met with Rob he was very helpful. He made us feel very welcomed and important. He did a great job setting everything up and helping us choose the best transportation for out needs. I was extremely stressed out and overwhelmed the week of my wedding. Judy went above and beyond for me and helped me work everything out a few short days before my wedding day. She is an amazing person who truly cares about her job and customers. She kept telling me to not worry about anything and that she would figure out everything. She pulled through for me, made me feel important and so special. I couldn't have asked for a better person to work with. The wedding day was absolutely perfect. Everyone was on time and did an AMAZING job. I had an amazing surprise when an unfortunate event occurred. The mourning of my wedding our car broke down. M&V Limousines surprised me and sent me an upgraded vehicle, the Rolls-Royce Phantom!!! What a car to show up to your wedding in!! I was on cloud 9!! The bus drivers and car drivers were extremely kind and organized. They made sure everything was done right and made it their priorities to make sure we had everything we needed and that EVERYONE was comfortable. Mike was my car driver and he was excellent. He was extremely accommodating and very nice. I believe Ralph was the bus driver. He too was wonderful. My bridal party said he was amazing! Everyone was very professional and I don't have a single complaint. I highly recommend using M&V Limousines. I'm so lucky I had the pleasure of using them on my wedding day. 45 mins late to pick up my wife from the hotel to the ceremony. When we called I heard about 20 different excuses. Everything from the car broke down to an outsourced a company messed up (which they claim on there site that they own all there own cars and DO NOT out source other companies) to the original driver called in sick and they had to wake up a new driver. It was an absolute mess. My poor wife was left crying in the lobby of a hotel in her dress waiting and waiting. After the whole day was over we received a call from a manger offering us compensation. Even though we truly believed we deserved a full refund we settled on his offer. I would highly recommend NOT signing up with this company. read more

I had booked a private bus for my party for a wine tour with M & V Limousine through Darian. He was so helpful throughout the many questions I had. He helped me select a vineyard package and made sure that I got my money's worth. It is hard to book anything for a large number of people but Darian made it easy. The tour went smoothly and the driver was great as well. The private bus was very clean and stocked with cups and water bottles. The driver was in contact with me to make sure that I got back in time to go onto the next vineyard as well as back to my drop off so I would not go over my time limit. Had such a great experience with M & V LIMOUSINES. They provided transportation for my sons 16th birthday bash. Initially we booked the Krystal 23 Passenger mini-bus and coincidently I traveled in it a few weeks before for another event and we were not please (older party bus). I called them with my concerns since I booked the same bus for my sons event and they were SO accommodating. Upgraded us to their other fleet which was much more modern!!!! Also very apologetic!!!! I have been speaking to Billy, back and forth, and he's the only reason I am them and additional star for his professionalism and following up on this issue. They only offered me the overtime money back. They claimed that the lateness to events was not their fault and that they have to follow their GPS regardless of what the locals say. However the Broken window and no AC working in addition to the nasty attitude of the driver towards my family is not an excuse nor is there any justification regardless of the fact that the driver supposedly never had any complaints. I plan to never book with them again any recommend against booking them. Again only gave an additional star cause of Billy, who only works for them and is limited as to what he can do. My wife and I decided to go with M&V Limousine for our wedding. These guys are nothing short of excellent. To start, customer service was impeccable. We dealt with Antonio (Tony) initially, and then with Marshall, both these guys were excellent to talk with. Lastly, on the day of our wedding, our driver Steven was on point with everything. Steven was punctual, accommodating, attentive, and intuitive; Truly a professional. For example, Steven took it upon himself to ask for our photographer's phone number so he can coordinate the schedule with her, and keep her updated on our arrival from church to reception hall (no prompting needed from us - we were impressed). We will definitely recommend M&V Limousine to our friends, more specifically, we will recommend they try to get Steven as their driver. He's awesome. read more

Darian at M&V Limousines was extremely helpful and very smart, and not to mention awesome to talk to, when booking my wedding limos. I walked in late, he took me right away and stood with me for a good hour and a half to two hours making sure everything was perfect and all fine details were sorted out and exactly what I wanted. He educated me about what limos I would need/what cars are appropriate for the wedding day and stopped me from making a big mistake had I not known if he didn't bring to my attention. He showed me the bus that I would be using right outside in the garage and introduced me to the driver who will be driving the bus that day, who was also a delight. So, I was a bit reluctant to use M&V due to some bad reviews I read. I am a big Yelp fan and trust those reviews, hence why I am writing about my great experience. We used them for our daughter's wedding in Riverhead. We rented a limo and also a passenger shuttle bus for all the guests. They were spot on! I will say, they experienced a big personnel turnaround from the time I booked them until the wedding, but every time I called, they were extremely accommodating and led me to believe they would do a great job. I put my trust in them and they came through with flying colors. Our limo driver, took care of every detail from making sure everyone was comfortable and taken care of. He walked my daughter to the church, fluffed her dress and paid attention to detail. The car was spotless and fully stocked. Our passenger bus was clean, on time and Avi, our driver was extremely personable. I actually worked with him during the last week and was very anxious to meet him. He was awesome, attentive and caring, on top of a great personality that made everyone comfortable. All in all, we had a great experience and would use them again and recommend them to others. I booked a limo for an hourly rate for a night out for four girls for a 30th birthday celebration. I booked it just a few days beforehand, as I wasn't sure we would be able to do it. We were immediately accommodated and told we were booked for exactly what I asked for at a very reasonable rate. When I had to change to a day later, due to some travel issues, they did so without a problem at all, as well as without a surcharge. Each time I called, I spoke to someone different, including the president, yet everyone was on the same page and had all of my information readily accessible and easily helped me. The limo was clean and nice and showed up 15 minutes prior to the pickup time. While we were barhopping, the driver made sure to stay close by and I had his direct contact to pick us up when we were ready for our next trek. Unfortunately I can not give 0 stars. I have now been in two different weddings where the M&V limos DID NOT SHOW UP. Most recently, we were almost 2 hours late. We were told the next day that there was a "clerical error." The bride was eventually picked up in an airport van, an hour and a half after the original 3:00pm pick up time. This has happened in TWO separate weddings. The owner told us they arrive on time to "90% of their weddings." Do not use this company. read more

Not a good experience at all. After being picked up late for a winery tour, the driver going the wrong way, and having to turn around multiple times. The manager tried to say that we needed to pay extra because the driver was going to be late to the next pickup. Then fought with us for an additional 40 minutes over the phone. We had a great time (all 15 of us ladies) on the VIP tour in honor of my friend's 40th bday. This is about a year late but I've just remembered how great these guys were. I made a late booking for group outing and they managed to fit us in for a rental on a Saturday night during wedding season with about a week's notice. The guys on the phone let me know that my requested time was a little tight and they pushed us to half an hour later, explaining the rationale. When the limo we rented had a technical problem before pick up, they communicated quickly and clearly and sent us a very serious upgrade that had us only off schedule by a few minutes. I highly recommend using this company! I looked around at a lot of bus companies for transportation for a 30th birthday party and M and V was by far the best price and customer service. Jenna was amazing to work with - so friendly, helpful, and understanding. She was always reachable and answered all my questions. On the night of the party, the driver was amazing - I left something on the bus and he answered his phone right away and met me so that I could come get it. M&V limousines did our wedding about two months ago. This was the worst part of our day! They were beyond unprofessional and canceled our old car we had ordered the night before our wedding. This left us stuck having to pick a backup that we didn't want. If that wasn't bad enough the shuttle we ordered made every guest late to our ceremony. Then the best part was that same shuttle didn't show up to pick us up after the wedding. After sitting on the phone with a rude employee at 12:30pm when we were supposed to already be on our way back to the hotel they then showed up over 45 minutes late to pick us and our guests up. I called the manager three days later and was not given a call back. I then called again about a week after that and we offered a free service (laughable that they would think I'd ever use them again) or a few hundred dollars. That shuttle alone was well over the refund they offered and that old car that I started my complaint with was also well pricier also! I told them this offer wasn't acceptable and was told I'd be called back with options. Which I never was. I also tried to reach them back multiple times and have not yet gotten a return call. The worst! Bus broke down 5 times! Had to hire another company. Driver got lost, didn't know how to operate windshield wipers, lights or ac. Had to FaceTime owner to turn air on. Temperature in bus reached 95 degrees and then the driver got lost and extended our ride in the hot box for another half hour! Video didn't work either! 6 hour ride with kids and no movies. I am usually a huge fan of this company. However, this last time, I am so disappointed and embarrassed with the service and the experience. I had eight Thirteen year old girls going out to lunch in Manhattan. Understandably, it was extremely hot out. However, the vehicle had no air conditioning. The girls were overheated. When I called I was told that it was because the car was not traveling at 60 miles per hour so the air was not full force. The air was non-existent. My phone recorded the inside temperature from 86 degrees to 92 degrees. Completely unacceptable. I felt like I was pushed aside because it was not a wedding or a prom. The vehicle needs to be taken off of the road. Horrible Experience. read more
