The check-in person was super welcoming and told me about some of the other dance formats offered there. This dance studio caters to both children and adults. So you will see kids running around, which is ok, but I am not really used to. The class started on time. The instructor had great energy and encouraged us to have fun and do things our own style. I haven't been dancing in a while, so I knew it would be a good challenge for me. I really had a lot of fun. My only surprise is that the classes are only 60 mins. I think they ought to be 70 minutes to include a proper 5 min warm-up and 5-minute cool-down. There wasn't a lot of warming up in the beginning of this particular class. I've taken adult dance classes for years and I am used to something that include some warm-up movements to get the rotating joints going, like neck rolls, shoulder rolls, and hip and lower back movements. The class did include a relaxing cool down with stretching for the lower body and upper body. I plan to take more Hip-Hop style classes. They offer Cardio Hip-Hop, Beginner Hip-Hip and more advanced levels, Sensual Dance, Twerk, Ballet, Shuffle, Street Jazz and a lot more. I plan to try about 5 more formats and sign-up for one class for the summer session. I highly recommend this place!

Here are the reasons why Born 2 Dance is absolutely amazing:…read more1) Low commitment: Life happens, drop in classes means that you don't have to feel guilty about losing money when you cannot attend a class. 2) Gorgeous studio space: The whole studio is efficiently run with large, modern, and clean practice areas with all of the bells and whistles 3) Expansive options: This is not your average ballet/tap/jazz studio. Born 2 Dance offers extensive classes and workshops for both adults, teens, and children in styles that include K-pop, hip hop, salsa, bachata, sensual dancing, belly dancing, pom, acro, and more! 4) Event space: We were initially invited to Born 2 Dance for a toddler birthday party and were blown away by the beautiful and spacious party room with attached play area. Everything was really well thought out and seamless and the party package even included a toddler dance class! 5) Proximity to a coffee shop: Simply Social is within walking distance which means sitting in a waiting room while my child dances is a lot more enjoyable

The Tiny Dancers Team has been wonderful, professional, and accommodating - a true bright light in a hard year. It's a lovely and clean space and I can't say enough good things about Jenna, Donna, & Emilia. My daughter loves Tiny Dancers!

I can't adequately express what a gift Tiny Dancers has been for our family this summer. Our…read moredaughter - who is a love and so, so very shy - has really come out of her shell over the last few weeks of Tiny Dancers virtual ballet classes and camps. Having these classes and camps to look forward to has been a joy for her and for us, and the studio has added a lot of fun to an otherwise housebound summer. I should add that for us, the excitement that the Tiny Dancers instructors create is about so much more than dance (though we LOVE dance). My daughter will be taking kindergarten virtually this fall - a decision that tears us apart, but that is necessary for our family. Through Tiny Dancers, our daughter has become much more comfortable with online learning - and for us, that makes all the difference. Before we started our Tiny Dancers classes, we were apprehensive about "online kindergarten" - now we feel much more certain that no matter how it goes, she'll be much more comfortable with the format than she would have been otherwise.

My daughter has been going to Little Gym for over a year now. She began with the hybrid…read moredance/gymnastic class and has recently switched over entirely to gymnastics. The instructors are mostly highschool-aged girls who love sharing their passion for dance and gymnastics with the kids. They are the type of people who can take your 6 year old who is about to burst into tears over the fact that you forgot to bring her stuffed kitten and turn her into a bundle of smiles as she discusses her week at school with them. Each dance class ends with a recital and a cute little awards ceremony. It's an amazing place for birthday parties. You get the entire gym to yourselves for an hour and the staff entertains the kids the entire time. Our birthday party at Little Gym was one of the easiest birthday parties ever. We didn't have to chaperon the kids or do any of the entertaining. My husband and I just stood in the viewing area socializing with the other parents and watching the kids have an absolute blast as they played games. Gym membership and classes earn you points, which you can use toward things such as 'parent survival night', a monthly Friday evening when you can drop your tyke off for an hour for supervised gym time. For my fellow yelpers, I should mention that there is a grown-up gym right next door, which would allow a person to go workout while their child is in class.

And for being polite even if they were unknowledgable as to any info about other Little Gyms, ***The Fredericksburg location is apparently closed, but good luck trying to contact someone. Their website is of little help and the other locations do not know anything about each other.*** And if thats not frustrating enough, if you do FINALLY get ahold of someone you'll be sadly disappointed in the lack of classes, or variety of classes offered, most being dependant on your childs age. My child is 4 and I was hoping to find a mommy & me, or daddy & me class. They only offer those for infant to 3 months. Nice. I'm gonna keep looking, The Litle Gym is not for us.
