Located in historic Fredericksburg, this shop is hidden among several antique and vintage stores so if you are into that type of thing you can kill several birds with one stone. Children's wear is my love language so when I walked in and found several well organized racks dedicated to children's clothing I was immediately in love. I only had ten minutes to browse before heading home but in those ten minutes I was able to find an entire collection of Beaufort Bonnet items in pristine condition. Even better, they rung up an extra 65% off so I was able to get six items for less than the price of one item. I briefly had a chance to checkout the other racks but I found a whole selection of designer women's stuff with brands like Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitizer. This visit, however, I was buying gifts to take back with me, and I finally perused the shelves here with interest. Their selection of knick-knacks, jewelry and doodads, of candles and blankets and other housewares, is delightful. Their massive selection of candies, and the famous Virginia Peanut, was what I was looking for. I brought a proud armful of Virginia artifacts to the counter, and three-thousand miles later they have been cheerfully received.
