Located in historic Fredericksburg, this shop is hidden among several antique and vintage stores so if you are into that type of thing you can kill several birds with one stone. Children's wear is my love language so when I walked in and found several well organized racks dedicated to children's clothing I was immediately in love. I only had ten minutes to browse before heading home but in those ten minutes I was able to find an entire collection of Beaufort Bonnet items in pristine condition. Even better, they rung up an extra 65% off so I was able to get six items for less than the price of one item. I briefly had a chance to checkout the other racks but I found a whole selection of designer women's stuff with brands like Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitizer. If you ever want to dress like a Southern belle but are on a budget -- this is your spot! Also, the shop people are super, super nice which is a huge added plus.

This last trip we wandered into Way Back When since it was the only one open early on a Sunday morning. Well it paid off a little for them and us as we found a couple of items we 'needed' and that were well priced. This place really has a plethora of fun and antique items throughout both floors and the couple who own the place are very nice. We didnt even have to haggle over prices as she discounted our items on her own. Next time we're in town we will definitely stop back here...

Many of the different booths had specials like 30% off or 50% off...so depending on when you go, you might find an even bigger discount or bargain...

My wife found this awesome little hobby shop last night while hanging out with a couple of friends, and when she came home and told me about it, we ended up going back together the next day. I'm into all things nerdy, especially anime and GUNPLA, so I grabbed an SD model kit and a Thousand Sunny Bandai kit from One Piece. They've also got individual actual Pokémon, One Piece, Magic decks, and individual cards in binders for sale (at least for Pokémon, I'm unsure of the other cards games.) They had some Anime models, Manga, a bunch of stickers, different types of dice (for tabletop gaming), plushies, some older video game stuff, and I think there were Warhammer model kits. It's a small local shop, so prices are a little bit higher than what you'd see at big box stores. BUT you're supporting a local business, and that's always really worth it. There are some game rooms in the back where people can play tabletop stuff like board games or Dungeons & Dragons. They've got a bathroom (I didn't check it out), plus a little section with snacks and sodas to indulge if you get hungry while you're there playing. Big shoutout to the guy behind the counter. He was super cool to my wife and her friends last night, and even more so when we came back today. I watched him today helping other customers too. Super patient, very friendly, and just seems like a genuinely good guy. Definitely the kind of shop and person I love to support. He also said that if we have We will absolutely be back here.

Still, I found something I really liked - a wrought iron candle holder - with wrought iron acorns and leaf adornments - holds three candles - and came with three candles in nice Autumn colors - only $15.00! I met "Paula" of Paula's Boutique - very nice lady. She does not accept credit cards - cash or check only. I was out of cash - she offered to go next door and use her neighbor's credit card machine. I declined and asked if she could hold it for me and I would return next Sunday to purchase it. She told me to just go ahead and take the item now and come back and pay her for it! Wow! You don't experience that often these days! So I will go back on Sunday to pay for my item! Nice lady and nice little shop!
