There was also a lottery system where I could pick out a prize, where I selected a cute wooden snowman, and then moments later won a homemade cake! Beyond the antiques, they also offer locally-made bath products. We are Starbucks lovers in this household so I couldn't pass up the Starbucks bathbomb. It was perfect! Located in historic Fredericksburg, this shop is hidden among several antique and vintage stores so if you are into that type of thing you can kill several birds with one stone. Children's wear is my love language so when I walked in and found several well organized racks dedicated to children's clothing I was immediately in love. I only had ten minutes to browse before heading home but in those ten minutes I was able to find an entire collection of Beaufort Bonnet items in pristine condition. Even better, they rung up an extra 65% off so I was able to get six items for less than the price of one item. I briefly had a chance to checkout the other racks but I found a whole selection of designer women's stuff with brands like Trina Turk and Lilly Pulitizer. If you ever want to dress like a Southern belle but are on a budget -- this is your spot! Also, the shop people are super, super nice which is a huge added plus.

This last trip we wandered into Way Back When since it was the only one open early on a Sunday morning. Well it paid off a little for them and us as we found a couple of items we 'needed' and that were well priced. This place really has a plethora of fun and antique items throughout both floors and the couple who own the place are very nice. We didnt even have to haggle over prices as she discounted our items on her own. Next time we're in town we will definitely stop back here...
