When I asked about it he told me that I had to pay $125.00 more for my rotors to be cleaned. I'm not from the area I'm from OC I was in Ventura county for work!! I will not recommend this shop. They didn't have an itemized receipt or proof of where they got the engine they swapped out. They put old spark plugs back in it after having to swap the engine again. All while they had three different mechanics work on it because two quit while working on my vehicle because Juan doesn't pay his employees. He lies a lot and can not be trusted. Not an honest bone in his body! I had to spend about $1700 on car rentals waiting for him to finish yet he never even ordered parts yet because he was broke. I'm still having more issues and finding out more crap they did wrong over a year later. I could go on but you should just take your car elsewhere

It is neither Quick, nor convenient and full of hassle. First off, I've heard both cases that you need an appointment for QuickLane or that you can just show up. I've done it both ways. Once I was even told by the advisor that the appointments were sort of bogus anyway and that it was better to just show up. Twice, I have shown up with a scheduled appointment and been told the wait time was over 2 hours. How can this be when I have an appointment? I've gotten in without an appointment if you're willing to show up early. Once, I had a company send their entire set of fleet vehicles though the quick lane thus causing everyone in quick lane enormous delays. Isn't there a better way to do this? If I would have known about this headache, I would have never purchased the vehicle in the first place. I've seen numerous other people in my quick lane visits voice their frustrations as well. Sure glad I didn't buy the pre-paid oil change / service plan I've seen numerous customers complain about during my quick lane visits. Side note, the regular 'maintenance' group here is completely different than QuickLane. If you need a repair, they seem to do a good job, and YES YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT FOR THEM.

My husband received a NEW company car from Vista Ford…read more Upon picking up the car he never received the second key. I have called twice to try to resolve this with no return call and no action. We are driving around with one key... I hope we don't get in trouble because who knows how long it'll take to we actually get the key? One other thing... When you get a new car the salesman usually gives you a tour or a run through of the car features. The guy did nothing... Zilch... Zero in spending any time with my husband. They also left the back roller cover in the original box. They did not do the courtesy i've taking it out of the box and putting it in for him. They just left a box in our car for us to do it on our own. Even though this car was purchased by his company most likely at a fleet price....There's no reason to discount or be remiss of the customer service because truly... Vista Ford did make money and made a sale. We are happy that our local for it is in Thousand Oaks... We will definitely not be back here for service or to purchase a car out of our own bank account. Which is kind of sad because we are in the market for a new 3500 4 x 4 truck.

I've used the mini mart on occasion as well - very usual and has basic things you might want to eat or drink. It's nice that there's a Subway sandwich restaurant melted into this location.

Picture this, you are driving your trusty 2007 Saturn Ion from LA to San Simeon for the weekend…read morewhen the check engine light comes on. You think "no big deal it's probably the oil." So, you get an oil change and they reset the light but the engine light stays on. You take a chance and continue to drive, however, when you just about get to Oxnard you start to have issues accelerating. You think, "Transmission issue?!" Your heart sinks. Then, as if by fate or magic (or Apple Maps) Pro-Masters appears and an absolute saint of a man named Frank offers to read the engine code for you. It turns out there was a sensor issue with the accelerator and thankfully not the transmission. Frank resets the check engine light, lets us know it's no big deal and that the computer in the car will probably forget that it was having the error in the first place. This works of course and we cannot figure out how to thank Frank for the rescue and peace of mind. Is it a crazy story? No. Is it a relatable one? Yes. I am so grateful to know there are people like Frank out there who run an honest business and are willing to help people even if there's no money to be made on a major repair. If you need vehicle service in the area, this is a good place to start. Thank you again Frank!

Can't say enough good things about these guys. My family and I were en route to Santa Cruz, and we…read morestarted smelling coolant. Our engine was smoking. I was thinking I would have to leave the car in Oxnard, rent a car to drive north, then return after the weekend. But then I met Frank at Pro-Masters. He explained the issue was our heater core, and it needed to be replaced. I explained my plan. He said not to worry; he could bypass the heater core, allowing us to drive up to Santa Cruz and back to San Diego safely. I told him he could do the whole replacement, but he said he would prefer the quicker fix so I could get on my way. That means he voluntarily gave up the opportunity to make a couple thousand dollars so I could save money and time, and so my family could enjoy their vacation. His repair worked perfectly, took one hour to complete, and cost me $80. Any businessman who willingly sacrifices money in the best interest of the customer is top-notch, in my book.
