He assured me they could perform deeper diagnostics with their equipment. After dropping off the car, Matt called and told me they had "confirmed" exactly what I had already told them, and that the next step would be pulling spark plugs--for an additional fee. At that point, I decided to go elsewhere. What I don't understand is why I was still charged the full $85 diagnostic fee, plus a $4 hazardous materials fee and $3 shop supply fee. Plugging a car into a diagnostic scanner does not generate any hazardous waste--no fluids are drained, no chemicals are used, and no parts are replaced. There's nothing about a basic scan that would justify a hazardous materials charge. That kind of fee typically applies when disposing of things like oil, coolant, or other regulated waste, none of which occurred here. In the end, I paid $92, wasted time and gas, and learned nothing new. The most concerning part was Matt admitting he didn't even know spark plugs would need to be checked as part of further diagnosis.

While waiting, Conner, one of the technicians completed a safety inspection which was nice. My tires were also filled with air. Connor also recommended a few additional services like tire rotation and differential fluid replacement. I added those services as well. Abe, Nestor, and a few other technicians then performed all the services. They kept me informed as they finished each service which was also appreciated. They currently have a 20% off coupon on Yelp, so definitely take advantage to get multiple services done at once. Overall, I was very happy with my experience and will be returning for future services. The team was very friendly and I appreciated them taking the time to explain things to me in more detail.

Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed it on my "new tires," which made no sense since there were no issues before I arrived. They only offered me a $35 discount, which didn't come close to covering the damage they caused. Because of this, I had to go out of my way to replace the tire, which cost me $80 plus additional time and inconvenience. What's even more frustrating is that THEY took a picture of the damage themselves, which I'll be uploading. So there's clear evidence of what happened. Overall, I feel like this situation was handled poorly. If your employees damage a customer's property, there should be accountability not excuses and partial discounts that don't fix the problem. I would not recommend this location based on my experience.

I made an appointment online after seeing they were running a buy 3 get 1 free tire deal. My appointment was for 9:15 this morning, but I actually got there a little earlier and was greeted right away by Eddie. He checked me in, took my information, and got everything set up. Super cool guy... really sweet and easy to talk to. We had some good conversation while getting everything handled. He did let me know the deal I saw didn't apply to the specific tires I needed, which was totally fine. I decided to just replace my two front tires for now and come back in a couple weeks to do the rear ones. Honestly it worked out because I didn't want to spend too much money on a car I hate anyway I also got a wheel alignment and Eddie even hooked me up with a little discount for that, which I really appreciated. I swear this was the fastest tire change and wheel alignment I've ever had done. Julio handled the wheel alignment and Jose did the tire install, and they had me in and out in less than 30 minutes. The owner refused to refund me the $900 as recommended by BAR unless I remove the first 1-star review I did on this shop. Avoid bringing your car to this shop. Totally and blatantly dishonest!
