TIP: call before the freeze sets in because not all septic service companies in the Hudson Valley offer these services over the winter. JEN picked up my call promptly, explained the pricing, and scheduled my service. $289 plus tax IF you dig out the septic cover yourself. Significantly more if they dig. I DONNED MY DITCH-DIGGIN' boots, grabbed my shovel and got to digging. Was it easy? Nope. But it was well worth the savings. WAYNE was my guy-on time and experienced. He was very polite and understood our shock since we are two VERY seniors and the estimate was a little less than one of our monthly social security checks. Long story short we hired a reputable plumber who owns his own business and was able to do a perfect job for $500.00.
