TIP: call before the freeze sets in because not all septic service companies in the Hudson Valley offer these services over the winter. JEN picked up my call promptly, explained the pricing, and scheduled my service. $289 plus tax IF you dig out the septic cover yourself. Significantly more if they dig. I DONNED MY DITCH-DIGGIN' boots, grabbed my shovel and got to digging. Was it easy? Nope. But it was well worth the savings. WAYNE was my guy-on time and experienced. Efficient and appreciative of the gratuity and cookies I sent him away with. The entire Dump-pumping-process took another 20 minutes. No mess, (except for that pile of mud that needed to be shoveled back in). Donned the boots, grabbed my shovel and paid another bill with the savings.
