I would not recommend Strictly Septic for home septic inspections. He showed up two hours late to our appointment. We had already left because we live far away and had a small time window. He did the inspection without us there. The septic had a problem, but instead of failing it and letting us know, he made a deal with the homeowner to fix it for them. When we tried to call him, he did not answer for days. When he finally did, he was rude and said since we were not paying him anymore, he did not need to answer us. He never gave us the inspection report. The work he did on the septic was poor. He used cheap (rock-filled) soil. We had to spend another $1,000 to fix it. Save yourself the stress and do not use them for septic inspections. read more

Chuck Sweed came out to our home on an emergency call. While installing the new septic, he discovered a deep sink hole. Rather than back filling the sink hole with rock and making sure the ground was stable, he backfilled it with dirt which collapsed at the first big rain. He placed the Dbox at the edge of the sink hole, with the distribution pipe going across the sink hole. When the ground gave way, the system cracked and broke. When contacted, Chuck claimed this was not his responsibility. When I harrassed him enough, he came out and said the hole was not big deal, the system was fine and he'd fill it, which he never did. Got bids from two other companies both of whom said he failed to backfill the sinkhole properly before installing the system and that the pipes and dbox cracked. We paid the new company to do it right. Chuck Sweed is dishonest, does not stand by his work nor does he care about the customer. Avoid this company like the plague! read more

Billy (jr) of Strictly Septics came to my property at the request of potential buyers. They paid a handsome sum to have the septic system inspected. Billy excavated the area and confirmed that the tank was fine. However, he also said that the pipe from the septic tank to the exchange box was crushed. He suggest the repair would cost between $1700 and $2500. I hired another septic company (Bill Baldwin & Sons in Ghent) who excavated the area, to fix the pipe, only to find that the pipe was not crushed. The pipe was fine. Because of Strictly Septic's mistake, I am out $550! Also, upon receiving the inspection report, the buyers dropped out. Not sure if that was because of Strictly Septic's mistake or not. Thankfully I have new buyers. Do not use Strictly Septic. read more

The camera inspection and the knowledgeable staff made me feel safe in working with a septic system. Bill and his team really pulled me out of a tough spot. We had our leech fields redone in 2015 and just a couple of years later, the end of our yard was becoming more and more saturated. Bill assessed the situation and within a week of contacting him, he and his team arrived and fixed the issue in a day. All around a great experience and he also seems like an honest and decent man. Strictly Septics Todd came and did a Septic Inspection. A pipe was crushed and I was advised by Bill most likely due to the heavy equiptment used from putting in a pool. I hired Strictly Septics and they replace the damaged pipe and supposively did a repeat inspection. They wrote a tiny praragraph saying no defects but refused to be more specfic and detailed. My attorney advised me to obtain another inspection whixh was in great detail with pictures. I will have to repait the defects before I can sell my home. Strictly Septics lied to me and they will lie to you. DO NOT USE THEM IF YOU WANT A GOOD JOB DONE OTHERWISE YOU WILL GET RIPPED OFF AND LIED TO! Chuck claims he is Professional. Is that why every other word out his mouth is bad mouthing previous unhappy clients calling them swear words multiple times to me. Requsting a claim from my insurance is not Fraud when ""Bill Dunn- owner: when asked how could this happen and his response was putting in the pool using heavy equiptment may have done the issue. My homeowners will do their own inspection. Fraud: Chuck you having me write the check to you instead of Strictly Septics makes me think you do not claim your income properly to the IRS...that is fraud. Your brother did the repair and a repeat inspection needed to be done posr repair to follow through. You gave me a 2 sentence paragraph. When I asked for more specific details of the septic system with pictures I was denied. That is how a Professional Inspection is done. I understand Chuck does home inspections as well as radon inspections..Do not trust this man to tell you the truth or do an thorough inspection. You will regret it! read more

They devised a creative solution, used tools expertly in a tight spot, persevered through some really tough challenges, all the while keeping the needs of the occupants of the house in mind. He had to dig quite a bit to get to the manhole cover but he did it with outstanding professionalism and care to the property.
