Quick and fast to get to my house and driver was a great help…read more Very easy to schedule! I highly recommend Barbers Towing and will use them again if the need ever arises!!!

This one is a long one...called around to get my box truck towed. Barbers towing said they could…read moretow my truck. Said they would have to unattach my driveshaft due to towing a heavy duty vehicle. Like okay i hear that, they unhook driveshaft and deliver to a discount tire 5 miles away due to my trucks front tire blowing in Milwaukee, thus needing the tow. When dropping it off the driver said discount tire can put it back on, i asked him if he knew that for certain or guessing. He shrugged...we paid then 50$ to unhook the driveshaft to then be told by the driver they cant hook it back up due to legality reasons....when we called the company back next morning asking them for a solution. The front desk lady told us that we lied about our vehicle size and that the cost shouldve been 800+. But we did tell them, texted them a picture and ALSO the driver wouldve "logically " tell us upon arrival that price would change or he cant due it because "we lied about our vehicle" (ill attach pictures of us texting them a picture of our rig). She continued to say that its common and all box truck owners know that upon towing the driveshaft would be unattached and would have to get it reattached on our own dime. Which thats not "common knowledge ". Wouldn't as a tow company, youd want to inform and educate your clients? They said we got a steal of a deal due to their new girl of one week "misquoting us". (Talk about poor management then)... I dont think 800+ for a single tow to then pay more money on top ($250) after the fact to make my truck DRIVEABLE again was "competitive ". Lesson learned only call if you have a small car!

My vehicle decided it didn't want to start anymore. That's unfortunate…read more I called my Roadside Assistance people, who contacted three different towing companies before BC Towing was assigned and confirmed that they would come to pick up my truck. Upon arrival, I met the driver at the front gate and he didn't have a problem getting in. My apartment complex has assigned parking for tenants and very small, covered spaces. Because of the car that parks next to me, when I park at night I tend to be VERY close to the pillars that support the structure. It's no big deal for me to get in and out of; I'm used to it. However, with the confines of the parking lot and the space involved, the driver got out, looked at how close the truck was to the side, and commented, "Well, I always enjoy a challenge." What followed can only be described as a complex dance on par with some of the finest ballet theater I've ever seen. He used some skids or something on the back wheels, his winch, and the flatbed, and managed to move my truck at an angle, back it out, and get it up on the flatbed with very little fuss, determined and efficient movements, and absolutely no damage or scrapes. There wasn't even any cringe moments where we weren't quite sure what would happen. The man was literally an artist in getting the vehicle away from obstructions and up on the flatbed. When that was done, he confirmed where I was taking the vehicle for repair and commented that it was a reliable and trustworthy shop. He recommended a few other shops, along with anecdotes, that could be considered for the future (for particular vehicles, none of which I own). He didn't disparage any shop, but only pointed out a few positive experiences he'd had for himself or other customers. When I gave him the keys, he gave me a quick reminder to make sure I only dropped off vehicle keys; not home, work, or other personal sets. Not that there was a concern, but just as a commonsense kind of thing. I appreciated his thoroughness. I didn't get an option on towing companies for this use, but I was impressed and appreciated the quick and effective tow of my vehicle. I had excellent customer service and a fine experience. Vehicle was delivered where I asked, without issue, and he even confirmed with the shop on where to put it so that they wouldn't have any concerns and would know that it had arrived, even if I hadn't been present.

I was made whole, in less than four hours…read more My car was towed recently, by mistake (no fault of BC Towing), and upon the details being exchanged by relevant parties, it was returned to me. I cannot express enough how painless this has been, after the initial shock of my car missing. I was treated with kindness, compassion, and the professionalism.
