This is the easiest 5 star review I've ever given…read more I inherited a home that needed a lot of work, work I thought I could do myself (lol!). Thankfully I reached out to Zack and he came out and did a walk of the home with me and gave me his honest and expert opinion, and also gently let me know that this was not something I'd be able to do (well) by myself. I didn't meet with another contractor after my first meeting with Zack because I felt that confident and comfortable with him. This project took awhile to get started due to a variety of different reasons but Zack stayed in contact and worked quickly and efficiently when things were ready to go. This was a huge project that included removing old furniture and appliances, knocking down walls, tearing out floors, refurbishing 100 year old windows, installing an HVAC system, and getting the home into a livable condition. I was so thankful to have Zack leading the project because I would have had no idea where to start. Zack and his team (Javier & Danny) were an absolute delight to work with, as well as the subcontractors I met who did my kitchen and bathroom cabinets and the hardwood floor refurbishment. While Zack didn't sign up to also be my design consultant, he quickly became one. I was constantly asking for his thoughts and opinions during the project. He shared his opinions when it came to a designs choice longevity and practicality, but never inserted his opinion otherwise, and always honored my vision and choices- although I'm sure he probably thought my 5 visits to slab yards was a bit excessive and was relieved when I finally picked one. Danny and Zack were also both helpful when it came to picking the grout color for my kitchen and bathroom, such a small but important detail with soo many options. I'm still getting settled in, but sometimes I have to pinch myself when I step into my kitchen or bathroom because I'm so happy with the results. Zack really helped make my inspiration photos a reality. I can't wait until I'm ready, or rather have the money, to convert the garage and basement and work with Zack and his team again in the future.

The initial consult was professionally conducted, and we were happy to sign right then and there to get things moving. Everything, start to finish, went like clockwork. We had Aleksei Alaev do the construction and installation work and he was just the best. Handled everything really well, and his work is top shelf. Clean lines everywhere, nothing rushed or half-done. Highly recommend anyone thinking of a bathroom remodel - call Rose! Edited to add photograph and also add that we did the painting ourselves, after Rose's team were done. So any imperfections in the paint are on us! LOL PS: We call this room the Bath Cave because it was built into one part of a framed in porch on our very old (1890) house. The window is just for light and will be covered with a privacy film too.

They were professional and respectful of the customer and their home. We did realize that yes, Rose Remodel is a bit pricey, but we got exactly what we wanted and then some. The only issue I failed at was to look around other manufacturers/vendors for things we wanted (we elected to purchase to save money) because certain websites (ie: Ferguson Home) can be quite pricey and we were actually surprised that we got what we wanted via Amazon and returned most of the products previously ordered via Ferguson (saved $2,500 !!) We located the vanity/top via HD Supply and elected another contractor to install, so we saved even more money. The tub selected was not what we wanted (it was not as large as the old one was) but Rose Remodel located exactly what we wanted. However, a $400 restock fee seemed outrageous, but live and learn. To us, the end result was exactly what we wanted and happy to have had Rose Remodel do the work!

Bill did various remodeling items including: 1) Complete bathroom remodel in 1 bath, 2) remodel and convert a 1/2 bath into a full bath by adding a shower, 3) adding new windows, 4) paint interior, 5) new water heater. All throughout the process he was very easy to communicate with and listened to what we were looking for and provided awesome suggestions, many that we implemented. Bill handled all of the permit issues, including engineered drawings, submission of permits, and inspections. Very smooth process. We had…read moreMark's team - led by Victor - re-stucco over old, damaged stucco that had been covered by aluminum siding for decades. There were tons of nail holes, cracks, staining, and other issues to the original stucco, but Sac Plaster took their time applying several coats to ensure a beautiful, weather-proof finish on our final stucco. Mark worked with me and the team at Omega Products in Sacramento to choose a custom color on a super tight timeline, which required more work and craftsmanship for his team to manually mix each bucket of product evenly and thoroughly. Every other contractor working on the house during this time - plumber, trim painter, HVAC team - commented on the skill of the Sac Plaster team and the quality of their work! At the end of the project, Mark also worked with me to patch some additional old stucco that we exposed after moving the electrical panel (totally owner error here!) at no extra cost. Mark came recommended to me by a contractor I trust, and his team's work did not disappoint (the Sac Plaster price was also unbeatable)! One comment on scheduling and communication - our project was part of a much larger renovation on a currently unoccupied home. For that reason, scheduling on our stucco was fairly flexible on my end. This served me well when working with Mark. Again, I could not recommend his team enough. Thank you so much Mark, Victor, and team for doing such an incredible job on our house. Anna
