I usually love coming here and supporting this salon but my visit today has left me wanting to find a new place. The woman who gave me a pedicure today did the bare minimum with my pedicure. I politely asked her to scrub my heelS and she looked at me and rolled her eyes. She seemed to be very unhappy at the idea of me asking to try 2 nail colors (sample swab on ONE nail) to decide which color would be better for my skin. She proceeded to test the colors on her latex gloves and asked me to pick as she murmured how she had already put a base coat on. If you can't be friendly at the least don't be rude!! It's usually very empty when I come here and you would think the staff would be warmer / nicer and want to give the best service to their customers. I would like to share my feedback about the M&G nails salon. Arriving at the salon, there was no elementary greeting and an offer to sit down and choose the colour. Only - "Do you have an apoitment?" The girl who gave me a pedicure seemed to be holding the tools for the first time. She put the colour but it was not smooth and I asked to remove it.All this pleasure took 2 hours !!! I purchased a Groupon to this location, but I never got a chance to use it. I called to make an appointment (per the Groupon instructions), but when I called the first time, the phone just kept ringing and ringing before it finally clicked and disconnected. I thought it was a fluke, so I tried calling again, and when someone picked up, she told me the "administrator" would call me back to schedule the appointment later that same day. This was at 11AM. By 4PM that same day no one had called me back yet. I called again and (I think) the same person answered again. Once again, she tried to take my information so the "administrator" could call me later and schedule the appointment, but when I asked when I would get a call back, she said "later today," but at this point, I knew the salon was closing soon. I questioned her about this (I promise, I wasn't being overly rude), and instead of answering me, she mumbled something and then hung up on me. It was at this point I realized this might be one of those institutions that doesn't love their Groupon patrons and I decided not to keep bothering them. Thankfully Groupon gave me a refund. TL;DR - don't get the Groupon and don't depend on the "administrator" calling you back. It's been several days, and I still haven't heard back from anyone. Oh well. read more

Aliman not only did a beautiful job on my mani pedi but she took her time and gave me the most perfect mani-pedi I've ever received. Wonderful salon! Cleanest I've quite literally ever been to with unbelievably great sanitation measures. She did such a wonderful job on my nails. Easy to make an appointment and no wait time. I love coming here! The salon smells so pleasant and is very clean. The decor definitely puts you in a serene mindset. There's plenty of surrounding parking too. Service seemed okay at first. Nail tech was rough with cuticles, they are very sore today (one day after) and I've never had that problem before. I noticed tiny spots of blood on my cuticles during the service and a day later see more dried blood spots, which are sore. I've had a few manicures and know this experience isn't the norm. Booked an appointment with Mila for gel with tip extensions. When I arrived for my appointment, the nail technician I was brought to was not who was pictured in the profile I made the appointment with. I figured the technician was just as good/qualified so I wasn't too bothered so I went with it. Overall, my nails looked good (in terms of the polish application and the design I asked for). However, they are INCREDIBLY thick and the nails are slightly up turned and look very unnatural. During the appointment, I was asked how I felt about the length and they were sooooo long. So I asked her to make them shorter and showed exactly where on my nail I would like them in terms of length. She shortened them slightly and asked again. I felt bad asking for them to be shorter again but they were still way too long. This happened 3 times and got to the point where she was visibly irritated and rolling her eyes so I eventually just gave up and said they were fine. Overall, they were still way longer than I wanted, and while they look good from a far, up close they were abnormally thick and the shape was very unnatural. read more

I have been a client of M & G Nails for sometime now. For the most part their work has been fairly satisfactory. My last couple of appointments have been very disappointing. I have worked on my feet for many years and my feet are somewhat beat up, I have also had a couple surgeries to correct bone structure. Knowing I have feet that need special attention I over-compensate by tipping very well. Well today I decided was my last appointment at M & G. Because I was disappointed with my previous appointment I felt it was necessary to let them know, especially because my manicure was an entirely different shade the next day after getting it. I got a very weak apology followed by a lousy mani & pedi and the nail tech even had the nerve to rudely rush me to insert my hand into the base for my no chip when I tried to examine her polish application that wasn't being applied to the edges of my nail bed.
