I called and spoke with Kristy (sp?) and scheduled an appt for our sprinkler system (Hunter system). She set up a day for the appointment, and Augustine came out and did a thorough review of my system (15 zones), and fixed those areas in the zones that needed fixing. The techinician told us that the new Sprinkler Controller was $350. Online, it's about $176. We were charged $450 for the controller and labor. The techs also spoke spanish in front of us when they knew english. read more

I looked at the reviews and called to schedule an annual maintenance of my sprinkler system and I wanted to look into having some of the back yard nozzles changed. But it turned into an experience of only disappointment. When the technician finally arrived I was in a 3hr meeting and left my son outside to work with them. They never took the time to even consult him. All he was given was the big bill for me to pay. How do I even know that anything was replaced. I don't understand how work could have been done and no one notified. I did speak with management of my concerns but she didn't care. Her response was next time to state you want to give authorization before work is done. Dah...this is the case all the time! When you take your car to get fix; they find the problem and ask you if you want to get it fixed. Same thing when I call someone to fix my washer and dryer. So I do not recommend this company! read more

I called M&D when I saw they were doing work across the street. I was having difficulty programming my Hunter unit and asked if their staff could help me when they were done. As soon as they were done across the street they promptly came over and programmed my unit in 10 minutes. The worker didn't fuss about the payment and I coordinated everything through text after that! I do appreciate the help and so does my landscaping! read more

After years of being loyal customers, we found oruselves in a jam... we had just put in $1300 worth of new landscaping only to realize we had not summerized our sprinkler system (which i believe is a 20-30 minute job). i called m&d to explain our situation and was told they could schedule me in 4 weeks. nice! i didn't get a reminder to summerize, m&d told me they've been so busy they didn't have time to send a reminder. lol, ya call youselves a company? i fired m&d and now have a new sprinkler company coming in 2 days.... read more

M&D Sprinklers has installed sprinklers at my current home & serviced my sprinklers at my previous home. I call them out twice a year. Once in the Spring to get everything up & running and again in the winter to shut everything down. This has saved me $$$ over the years to do annual maintenance & preventative maintenance in the winter. They are worth the wait! read more

I wasted an entire day waiting for a service call that never happened. Multiple phone calls to their dispatcher indicated they were almost on their way to my house. All crap. By 7:00 PM, I gave up. They never showed. When I called them the next day to inquire why - and to reschedule - they were unapologetic and a bit huffy. Never mind an apology. Could I not see that they were busy? Amazing. Waited 1.5 weeks to have them come out for an estimate on a new sprinkler system. Verified the night before. The morning of the appointment, after I had worked my schedule around our appointment, they texted they could not make it because Mike had to be on a job. Sorry. Can we do it tomorrow? I told them no, I had other plans. It really is not a compliment when they basically say "sorry, your're not important enough for us to keep our appointment. It was more convenient and important to tend to someone else's business". You get one shot at a first impression. Don't expect another shot when you blow people off at the last minute. read more

I scheduled an appointment and the company never showed up, despite the fact I called three times to confirm the appointment. I took the day off from work for nothing. I used M&D in the past and had great service, but it appears they no longer value clients. Use this company at your own risk. Edit: Diego from M&D contacted me, apologized, and came by the same day to repair my system. Diego explained that a prior job took four hours, which was the reason for the delay. The lady who answers their phones is RUDE! I have an active sprinkler leak and she said they can't come out until the week of June 12th, which is two weeks away! I was hopeful that this would be our new sprinkler company based on a personal referral, but not now. Learn to value your customers, especially when they are a personal referral from an existing customer! You have a seasonal business, so make arrangements to schedule adequate personnel during busy times! read more

We moved into our home in 1997. After suffering through a few summers of self watering, we had had enough. On the recommendation of several friends, we called M & D Sprinklers. We could not have been more pleased! Each year we have new comers to the subdivision and I ALWAYS recommend M & D for any new installations, repairs, etc. Every year they come out to winterize our system so that we don't have to worry about busted pipes. Then they come back out to get my system set up for the summertime. Great customer service on all fronts, in the office and with the technicians. I highly recommend this company! read more

Do NOT do business with these folks. I'm currently renting a house where the landlord requested an estimate for sprinkler repair. She decided to go with another company since their estimate was 2x higher. The company is now calling me demanding I pay for their service visit. I don't know if they keep really poor records (I've told them at least 3 times I am not the owner and have no agreements or requests for service) or if they are just ignorant about business and/or the law. Filed a BBB complaint and strongly urge people to steer clear of these clowns. read more

My relationship with M&D started because of a bad situation from previous work done by someone else. M&D not only took care of all of the issues but also made my life a whole lot less complicated. From the owner to the receptionists, everyone was friendly, professional and responsive. They answered all of my questions, provided feedback and gave recommendations without a hint of an attempt to make any extra money on the job. June 2017 NOT RECOMMENDED. So many issues that added up to a very unpleasant experience. Initially told 2 day job that turned into weeks. Did not communicate job properly from beginning. Problems with dirt, no dirt mud and grass, no grass, wrong grass, now dead gras, and did not complete areas, or would not sayd anything when crews left as to when would be back ???, always had to call back??? And always told by Mike, "we can do that, we want you to be happy" after many issues got sick of hearing that. Ducted taped french drain lid at street, never got an answer why? Did not put any grass around drain, so now there is a lots of mud in street, and small sink hole. I have to go buy grass now and correct myself. Called about another issue, Mike came to my house 1 week later, no phone call, text, nothing, as I was leaving to get in my car and one of his rude comments were " You gotta understand, I just can't drop everything and rush over here." and walked off. I called again when I returned home, and not a word from them since, 9 days ago now. 2 year warranty on labor, yeah right couldn't do it correctly, neatly from beginning let alone if something happens in a year.
