Great European Lounge in Hallandale! I called the same day…read moreand couldn't get a table, so I'd definitely recommend booking a few days ahead if you want a spot on Friday or Saturday night. At first, I wasn't too happy -- there were no outdoor seats available and the music at the bar was super loud. We ended up sitting all the way in the back next to a wall by the bathrooms, and the vibe there was just okay. Later, we moved closer to the outside and it completely changed the experience -- I enjoyed it so much more! The drinks are a little pricey but absolutely worth it -- we had the Tikki Kill and it was delicious. The music was amazing and kept the energy up all night. The couches are super comfy, the hookah service is great (they change the charcoal without you even asking), and free parking is a huge plus. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the night even better. The only downsides are that you really need to make a reservation ahead of time for weekends, otherwise you might end up stuck at the bar or in a less atmospheric spot. Also, there are only two gender-neutral restrooms, so there can be a bit of a wait.

We came with a couple of friends on a Saturday night and I was amazed at what a great job they did…read morewith the decorations and the plants to make for a very inviting place to sit and have a few cocktails. We got the hukkah service and it was often monitored for the coals. They recommended "berries and watermelon" and it was smooth. Our server came just often enough to make sure we had what we needed. Great music played throughout. While we were there it was club music. Just loud enough to enjoy but still able to talk. We ordered a fruit platter and it was large and all of the fruit was deliciously fresh. The only tricky part was the parking. An attendant on the street is shuffling people on the street and at least three different lots. The entrance is around back opposite of Dixie Hwy so save yourself a walk. Not sure what can be done about the restroom situation, but there are very few for the number of people that can be inside. All in all, I would definitely come back for another night of enjoyment.

The bartenders were quick and efficient. The drinks were reasonably priced. I must stay, but two people stood out ! The Bus boy that was picking up all the empty dishes and glasses in the facility. He was on it! There was never had a dirty table, no napkins on the floor or any empty plates of food I was quite impressed with him. he was quick and professional, I didn't get his name, but my hat goes off to Nadia. I think She is the manager if she wasn't, she should be because first of all she had everyone in check! she made sure that everybody played their role. I could tell the staff completely respected her not to mention she was sharp as a whip with her white outfit on. she was professional and very attentive. I was completely impressed with her. Being that I am a quality assurance manager for a large company I felt I had to acknowledged her professionalism. I had to tell her how impressive she was! I knew that she was running the show because I watched her working with the employees, she had a pleasant smile on her face and never look like she was stressed. This place was spotless and professional run. This place is a well run engine. My only concern was the red runner carpet in the front when you walk in, It was a safety hazard. Please give Nadia her flowers!

Service: This was fine. We choose the outdoor seating which…read morewe prefer so it's hard to tell what others around us were being served or doing but they were nice enough. One thing I don't like is when I order at a place and no one comes to check in or offer a 2nd round of drinks. But the drinks were super expensive compared to other spots/lounges on the Boulevard. The Smokey old fashioned tasted like it was made with a mixed drink kit and they just had to add water. The drink I got was also pretty watered down tasting and also $16 each. I would have liked to see what else they offered, but I'm not sure overall that it's worth it. Food: I ordered an appetizer of plantains done "tapas" style which were awesome (9/10) and my boyfriend got the skewered steak but for some reason, they had to warn us it's not on a skewer after all and asked if we still wanted it. Well it practically looked like a plate of sides (cut up onions, tomatoes and beef) that someone would build a pita or some kind of taco (3/10). Was not worth $17. Should have come with some bread or starch, but that was extra. Ambiance: Music was fine but again, we were outside so it's hard to tell what it would be like from the inside. I just wish they could price their drinks and meals closer to other places in the area. I could have gotten a HUGE plate of shrimp nachos or 2 happy hour apps or 2 drinks from anywhere else for the price of 1 item from here. Speaking of which, it appears Happy Hour is 2 days or the week? Hopefully they will be a little more active online and I'll have a reason to return....Kwanzaa?? ‍!
