Loved Lunasa's bohemian interior and relaxed ambience. An unassuming cafe which serves Spanish tapas and paella late on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The BYOB policy plus a wealth of vegetarian/ vegan dishes equals an eatery, which once discovered, is so good you'll want to keep it a closely guarded secret. I dined here with two friends during Thursday 7 June 2018. A bowl of complimentary olives and onions appeared on our table as we perused the menu. Our party of three were very hungry, ordering four tapas each. For myself Wild Mushroom Vegan Croquetas, Apple & Nut Vegan Croquetas, Hummus & Garlic Bread and Tomato, Orange & Mint Salad. Each dish was rich, tasty and satisfying. Expect casual, friendly service and plates arriving at your table as and when they are ready, not all at once. Lunasa was busy and vibrant with chatting customers. Prices are extremely modest and after dinner coffee with complimentary truffles a real treat. Perfect to unwind in for those who want good food in unpretentious surrounds. read more
