Most of the showers, along with the salt scrub, are in the communal spa-pool area, so be prepared for that--although a few private showers are also available. The dry sauna and steam room are off to one side, and a separate room with loungers provides space to rest and relax. I was greeted by Laura - who truly was the bright spot in this whole experience. She was on top of it and so friendly. She got me a locker and got me set up. I was eager to come here because they boasted a steam room, sauna, rainforest shower, and hot tub. Lukewarm would be a great way to describe this experience. The steam room just didn't get as steamy or warm as I would like, I had to turn on the sauna myself and wait for it to warm up (energy efficiency maybe) and the hot tub had water features that were spitting out ice cold water - cooling down the whole hot tub. I didn't venture to the rainforest shower because I couldn't bear to be any colder! I did love the tiled heated chairs in this lounge though! Normally these features would be my favorite and I could spend all day rotating but Anda spa caps you at an hour. There are a few lounges that you can check out. The one lounge has a few snacks, unlabeled tea, and fruit infused water. As some one with allergies - the mystery of it all wasn't great. The other lounge had weighted blankets. I was told to wait in either lounge for my technician. My technician was around 10 minutes late to my appointment without any notice. I had to walk out to the front to flag a staff member down to make sure I understood the instructions correctly. This definitely detracted from the relaxed vibe. The facial was in a brighter room than I'm used to and obviously you're downtown so it can be a bit noisy. The facial itself was good and the technician had strong hands though I wish I would've researched more about the products. My skin has felt dried out since and it's just not the best experience I've had. I'm going to check out some other spa options before I return here. Again - Laura was phenomenal and the space is clean and modern - I just didn't have the experience that I would've liked for the price.

That's the best way to describe them. They had foam mats on the bottom, and it looked like jet sprays on the side. Well, they told us to get in, face down, with our heads sticking out the fronts. Not super comfortable in any way, including getting in an awkward position in front of these ladies. So the water was between cold and very hot. It was Dove body wash, nothing special. They scrubbed us head to toe around five times. Asked why we were there, and I said it's his birthday. They asked his name and sang happy birthday. Very funny. Then came the massage. I had to use the restroom. This is where I was really disappointed. It was pretty dang dirty. Not just kinda. Like, dirt. Everywhere in the bathroom. So now I'm headed back for this massage, and I am worried about the cleanliness. The massage consisted of each small woman climbing onto our backs and using their elbows and knees. She put me into a bow position (those in yoga know what I mean.) Remember, we have no clothes on; it was very, very uncomfortable. She kept saying wow, you're flexible. They tried making conversation, but it was stilted English. I was trying to give back some conversation to be polite, and my lady literally just walked away from me while I was mid-sentence. It is always loud, door bells, people talking in the foyer or on the phone, and employees talking loud in the hallway. Many times my massage therapists have left the room, or opened the door to talk to other employees. I have twice left positive reviews because of the massage results only. Out of kindness and wanting to support a small business, I did not complain about the noise. I stopped going because it was NEVER a spa experience (meaning quiet, relaxing, and pampering). For the same cost, I can get both a good massage, and a relaxing experience. You are close to my house, and do not need appointments so I decided to give you another try yesterday. You were unloading supplies from a van when I arrived and I decided to wait until you were done before entering, thinking it would be quieter if you were done with that task. This time I brought headphones to drown out any noise, but I could not get them to work. I asked for a 90 minute massage and was put with Coco. I was rushed into a room. A man also started his massage across the hall around the same time. My massage start3ed around 945. The door was left ajar by Coco and that is uncomfortable when I am nearly naked and a man is across the hall. Shortly after the massage began I heard the door bell and a man asking for a massage. I am not sure if he was in a room or not, but suddenly female employees started yelling in the hallway right outside the doors between me and the man across the hall. This went on for several minutes. Coco opened the door and yelled at the women. She closed the door and the yelling continued. Coco yelled again this time while she was massaging me and right above my head. I jumped. The yelling continued. Coco opened the door a second time and yelled. Their shouting continued again. Finally I yelled "Hey, I am trying to relax in here!!!!!" and they went back into the back room and after a few minutes quieted down. Coco was clearly stressed asking dozens of times if I liked the massage. I never relaxed the entire time. I called you and shared my complaints. I should not have had to pay for that experience, yet I was charged full price. I wanted to tip Coco, and that is all it should have been. I am asking for you to credit the cost of massage. The tip can stay. If you will not do that, I will edit both my previous reviews, and add this email to a third. As much as I want to support a small business, I will not feel right by sending anyone else there. This needs to be addressed. I expect a "wellness spa" to be exactly that... a spa.
