BUYERS BEWARE. Had to cancel my order on a pre-built PC. I had no need to customize it, it was in stock at the time of purchase and yet still 3 weeks go by there was no update on the order. I had to contact them via email and once I did they fixed the ETA processing/shipping time, I call to find out exact date and they have no idea. So why would you sell a product that is not in stock or on back order without letting the customer know?? I immediately asked for a refund. I could have used that 3 week waiting time to purchase a pre-built corsair. AVOID THIS COMPANY. read more

I bought the "Cortex" build kit. They did not send all the parts and I had to wait twice for them to send additional components. They also as of the date of this review do not have the advertised custom build videos, and they admit they haven't for some time. All of this, even though their website states: "ALL PARTS AND COMPONENTS Obviously it couldn't be a DIY kit without including all the parts and components. You receive every part, cable, and connector needed to build your PC." -AND- "DETAILED BUILD VIDEOS We use the same parts and record ourselves building this PC. That way you have a video walk through of the entire build process step by step." So for me this company did not deliver on any of its promises. The "Star rating" menu on their review form is not accessible, conveniently, which means I cannot review them on their website. read more

Buyer Beware! We did a lot of research last year before purchasing this PC. Of course it took months to receive the machine due to "COVID" and once we received it we had nothing but issues and constant Blue Screens. I have had zero success in getting tech support to assist us along the way. Now we are at the point that the machine is completely dead and I with zero tech support calls and contact us forms completed we need heard back from this company ever since August of 2020. I am spent and frustrated. We spent a good amount of money on this machine. The amount of errors we were faced with straight out the box was outrageous. From memory issues to blue screens, to black screens, to constant crashing with simple web browsing. I will never purchase a machine from a company like this again. Big box company me next time! It appears they ignore you to ensure you run out of time on the 30 day part warranty and also on the 1 year labor warranty so they might contact us after 1 year to assist when it's too late. I REPEAT...DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I REPEAT...DO! NOT! PURCHASE! FROM! THIS! COMPANY! If you work for this company and now want to respond to my calls and emails....feel free to look up my order and contact me Order # 94219 read more

*TL/DR*: Shady af company out for max profit on used parts that WILL fail. Good luck on getting a return and ffs, take your business elsewhere. I've come back to overhaul this review because every day something new happens with this garbage heap. First and foremost, these components are all used and refurbished components from Ebay. Something Lyte isn't excited to advertise and an important note for computers they are charging a brand new sticker price for. I got my PC a month after ordering and have had nonstop problems since and Lyte's go to saying that you'll see throughout these review responses and by email is "we'll make this right" which they absolutely will not especially when it comes to requesting returns. These guys are a bunch of clowns running a lucrative scam operation. My hard drives weren't formatted on start up and my GPU was a year out of date for driver software. Updating it threw it into an error 43 lockout that had to be addressed by a tech. Not a huge deal but still frustrating af. The Windows at start was also not authenticated and I had to escalate that issue to Ethan the manager to get a Windows key. I requested a consolatory GPU and they sent me a water logged brick that you can see in the pictures with obvious early stages of water corrosion. At this point i'm furious and start requesting just cash for the worth of the GPU while they insist I ship the fried one back. (probably to throw in another computer after a dress up as I see it). Now the RAM is deteriorating rapidly that I had diagnosed by a local certified technician. I can't play any games and am even getting blue screens while just internet browsing so i'm out another $67 for RAM I had to order because I want nothing to do with the parts these guys dish out. Do yourself a favor and please just do your own build. There are instructional videos all over the place and some Ryzen builds can be done in less than half an hour. Also in the photos is a build from pcpartpicker.com that is competitively priced to the Lyte Hyper and is both a substantial upgrade and all new components. read more

Despite what a lot of others have said I overall had a great experience with Lyte Gaming. My PC is well built, cable management was done really well, and it runs great. The only reason I'm not giving a 5 star review is because I did have a little trouble getting a refund after I switched to the instant shop option without the GPU. But once I called they were happy to help and I got my refund the next day. I also called another time to upgrade my cpu and they were super helpful. I think they're a good company, and I'm happy with my purchase from them. read more

BIGGEST RIP OFF EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!****************** Not one component matches what i ordered... They substituted just about everything i ordered..... Sent different brand tower Sent different brand memory Sent different SSD and only 512gb when i ordered 1TB!!!! Sent different cpu cooler brand. Was charged and paid for one that came with RGB. I ordered corsair 240mm RGB.... DID NOT GET IT!!! Sent different MOBO. It took them a MONTH to build my pc and mail it...A WHOLE MONTH AND COMMON THINGS THAT ARE IN STOCK I COULD HAVE ORDERED MYSELF FROM NEWEGG!!! So apparently in a months time they could not order the appropriate components for my build???? Nah i call BS they were just lazy and slapped together whatever components they had on hand and shoved it in a box..... BUY FROM NZXT or somewhere else.....They mention on there site that due to high GPU demands brand may vary for the 3080 i ordered.... yeah i get that and had no issues with this... but to get every other thing i ordered in my "CUSTOM PC BUILD" substituted with something different? Thats sad and piss poor service!!! Its their "CUSTOM" build not mine. They could have at least gave a curtesy call asking for permission to substitute the pc hardware.... but 5 minutes of their time to make a phone call to just touch base was not worth it to them i guess...Maybe next time it will be... because this 2700 dollar build customer will be sending it back and giving my money to another company!!!! its now 3 days before Christmas and the present will not be there for Christmas morning....WOW! Good luck to this company! O and to whomever you pay to build/package your pcs maybe they should not put the blue hardware bag inside the pc tower because during shipping the bag came open and there was a million small washers and screws all inside the pc tower probably got into the PSU as well.... What a mess! read more

Terrible customer service. The sold me a unit with a faulty graphics card. Every time I have called I sit hours on hold. Almost 4 months I waited. Covid had a lot to do with the wait on the gpu so ok no big deal. Frustrating but understandable. But I waited over two weeks to get my PC shipped without gpu. I was told 5 business days at the latest.... This is after the painstaking daily progress checking to no avail. I kept getting over promised over and over. Lied to. No resolve... Of course I had to write of $176 for their restocking fee. 110+ days of me basically giving them an interest free $2400 loan. Do some digging... They delete their reviews on their website and delete negative comments on their fb ads and posts. Lots of people getting ignored over broken/non-working parts until after the one year warranty. Old, used parts being installed as a new price. BUYER BEWARE! BUY ELSEWHERE. PLEASE ADD YOUR REVEIEW TO THIS LINK (CLOSE THE GAPS IN LINK) SO PEOPLE CAN DO THEIR OWN RESEARCH WITHOUT COMMENTS BEING DELETED www. facebook .com/Lyte-Technology-Honest-Reviews-101231335437427/ ****update**** Yeah uh, Caleb's response is absolutely untruthful. Lmao! For several days straight I was told my PC was on a truck and every day there would be no tracking number then I was told it was on the truck. They didn't pull my PC off the truck. There are at least a dozen people who've taken their time to express that they found dinged up older parts in their PC. Doesn't take much digging to find. Folks, I was absolutely lied to several times. They could've had the decency to be honest or even refund my full amount. Have some integrity, Lyte Gaming. Dang I hope you guys go under. If they don't actually delete bad reviews, then they absolutely screen them and not allow new negative reviews to be shown. I still don't see mine on thir website and I bet a lot of money there are dozens and dozens of others that are not shown. Smh. No shame. Garbage. read more

I ordered my PC March 1st 2021 I finally got the PC minus the GPU 8 months after I placed the order (understandable given the shortage and scalpers) which is due the the fact that the option to do so wasn't initially available. Firstly I want to say I'm happy with my PC but there were disappointments when it arrived. The PC got here in a completely different case than I ordered, and the 240mm AIO that I ordered (Corsair) was instead an EK AIO. Personally I don't know which is better but when you spend almost 3k on a machine I would expect to be made aware of these changes during the build process and especially before I get the machine in my hands. After 8 months of waiting I wasn't going to send it back at that point. Fast forwarding from the PC's November arrival to Feb 2022, I contacted LYTE to discuss the stagnancy of the gpu queue whereas it had maybe gone down by 1 place in line in 2 months since I have gotten the PC (it's important to note that I was offered the choice to wait for an EVGA 3080 when the majority were gigabyte branded). After contacting support I was told they are no longer receiving any GPU's from EVGA. So I was on wait list for a product that wasn't coming and I was never told so. They offered an upgrade to a 3080ti for an additional $600 after I had already paid $940 for a 3080 a year ago but I didn't bite. They told me they'd get more gpus from gigabyte at the end of the month and they'd ship one of them to which I agreed. Later that same day I got a notification that the gpu had shipped which seemed very strange to me considering I was told I'd get one at the end of the month. When the gpu arrived it appeared that it might've come from an RMA and looked resealed. The sticker holding the package closed has definitely been opened. The gpu was clean and looked mint though and is in working order. I was given a Gigabyte RTX 3080 Vision 10g. I popped it in to see that it worked just fine and finally threw in the towel having finally obtained the gpu and completing the build. I didn't feel like playing the game anymore and I kept it. After having the complete machine together finally after almost an entire year I'm happy with the way it performs. The PC has had zero issues so far and the cable management was pretty clean. Some closing thoughts. I'm grateful finally to have a PC and that it works and performs well. But all in all my experience is really mixed. As far as I feel about LYTE... Their customer service is ok. I got in touch with them easy when I needed to and made progress. But they really need to work on their contact with their customers. If you offer me specific parts to pick from and let me pay for them, then I should 100% be made aware of changes being made to my order and not just finish out when I get it. With all that being said... I ordered a PC from LYTE during a difficult time and it took a year but they built me one and it's amazing. They just need to be more forward with what they're doing with your money. read more

I ordered a custom PC from them, with a 3080 graphics card. They emailed me regularly on how the build was progressing and the stages of getting all the parts. It took about four weeks to get the PC from when I ordered it, which is faster than they even said was the standard build time. It came safe and sound, was easy to set up, and had all the instructions. It runs all my games amazingly. The cable management was excellent and organized. read more

This place for customer service is not good at all. Ordered something over 1.5 months ago have not gotten a response for accurate time of arrival. Could improve on customer service, I consistently reached out to the company through email and never got any responses. However, calling them during or chatting with an agent on their website is quite consistent if u can catch them during work hours. Also after my PC did finally arrive it broke after 3 days. I have been trying to reach out to Lyte for days now and have no way of getting in contact with them. On top of this the parts I ordered for my PC were not what were in it. I ordered a Corsair PSU (a good brand) and they gave the some off brand PSU which broke the computer. Not a very good company, go buy your PC from somewhere else or better yet build your own. Lyte if ur reading this just follow peoples instructions in their customs builds. read more

This place will send you an email, 5 days to ship your order. Call them 5 days later, you'll get another email; your order will ship in 5 days. BUYER BEWARE. This company has a ton of complaints and negative reviews for a good reason. They will take your money and not send you a product. They say your ship date is based on supply but what do you do when it's been 6 months and there are more than 90 orders still ahead of you? Yes, we know that GPUs are in short supply. This is the excuse they will tell you over and over again so they don't feel obligated to get your product on any set timeframe. The communication and copy/paste email updates are so piss poor it's not even funny. The last update I received was almost 5 months ago. I asked for a full refund and they are trying to charge $210 in cancellation fees. That is absolutely ridiculous that they would expect anyone to pay that when they haven't even done anything. They tried to get me to pay another $650 as an alternative so they could "get it faster". Don't waste your time with them. Find a company with good reviews and do your research! read more

Purchased a PC from them for my brother 3 month's ago. The overall process started great. Received my purchase email receipt, follow up "Thank you emails" and over the next few weeks "your PC is being built and tested" emails. As the weeks went by it became very dry. Lack of ANY follow up, until 2 month's after my purchase and my "your pc is built and being stress tested" email I received a phone call stating "We don't have the parts needed to build this setup, would you like to upgrade?" And at this point it was just annoying, literally send me anything. Once again, ghost. 1 hour+ call times and I finally got ahold of a customer service representative who ASSURED me, we will send it out today. Ghost again. After 3 months I finally got back and received a refund. With 7.5% "refund fee" I purchased pre-built under the assumption it was pre-built. Or it could be put together in a timely manner. As a small business owner myself customer satisfaction and follow up should be 100% of the primary focus, in which this company lacks. I would not have minded the wait if they would have been upfront instead of emails saying it's done and almost ready to ship. Not only did they rob me for free money but wasted so much of my time. Covid is a weird time for any business. But if your are unable to take care of your customers, maybe consider not taking on new customers, less on advertisements more on those waiting for their products. I strongly recommend anyone and everyone to build yourself, I never thought I could, and I did. I saved 200 dollars, built the same rig, and learned a new skill. read more

At first I was very unsure of ordering a PC from any company because that is a lot of money to put in someone else's hands which makes it harder to trust a company especially a smaller one. After doing some personal research and reading reviews I decided to give LYTE a shot and ordered my custom PC which was great for the price. To my surprise about 15 days later I received an email saying my order was out for delivery. I am new to PCs however, this was everything I wanted and more. I enjoy playing RPGs and this is perfect for it, Fallout New Vegas looks amazing on the PC. It runs fast, cables were all secure, and there was thorough steps in place for me to understand exactly how to set it up. Overall, I am very glad I made the purchase and would definitely recommend LYTE to anyone looking for a PC. read more

I received my pc about 2 1/2 months after ordering. I realize there is a part shortage right now but when I ordered it said everything was in stock to ship the following week. My pc would have been shipped sooner but it was lost in the warehouse and I had to wait for them to build another replacement. I also didn't receive any of my free upgrade parts from my wheel spin at purchase. Overall the PC is not bad itself but the wait times and hassle are far from ideal. read more

Honestly, I had really high hopes for this company. They started off very communicative and resourceful. Then, as time went on the situation deteriorated. Initially, I had ordered a rig with a 3070 on it. They had received it in stock but the builders sent it to the wrong person on the wrong build. Due to that, I had been waiting since February 21, 2021. In an effort to work with them I tried to ask them to send the information about the PSU that I specially ordered for the rig. The receptionist was very rude about it and not very understanding of the situation. After they had changed my case without me knowing and were clearly not on the same page about what was on my PC I finally got fed up with the inconsistency and waiting. I sent them a total of $2793.09 in total, only to get back $2,639.79 for their BS 7% cancellation fee. It wasn't my fault that the builders messed up and I was stuck here waiting. Honestly, I had such high hopes but was let down to extreme levels. read more

TL;DR Product: -Once working, fantastic, I have light PC knowledge and was able to solve a connection issue myself without tech support to install. that being said, I did have an issue when setting up my pc at home. Reliability -awful, 9 month lead time with advertisements upon order stating 30 days. Many email with a ":person" named "chad" went unanswered. I also left two complaints that allegedly went to the CEO. Neither were responded to. Neither did my comment on instagram despite their high social media presence Customer Service: -Promote Kevin. He showed genuine care, empathy, and reliability with resolving conflict. Train other staff to at least look up order number before coming to conclusions about solutions. ____________________________________________________________________________ Custom PC ordered 3070 graphics card (upgraded to 3080TI) Positives: -Kevin in customer service was amazing. over the course of 9 months waiting/upgrading my order, he always remembered me (or at least took the time to get my info) and was able to assist with precision and accuracy -PC itself has been fantastic so far. Cons: -9 month delay for a gpu before i was told an upgrade would get my gpu shipped earlier -upgraded my gpu for immediate delivery (shipped after 1 week for stress testing). 1 week later i called because my order did not ship according to tracking info. I was told that my order was delayed another week because there was a shortage of bubble wrap... $4k+ order delayed because of bubble wrap -over the course of 9 months waiting for a GPU i called maybe 10 times to either receive an update on my order or to upgrade parts on my order. I received Kevin 3 times and received above and beyond support to the point where he waited on the phone to ensure my pc was functional upon unpackaging. The other times, I received a woman who often didn't even ask for my order number before dismissing my request to a delay. The last time i spoke with her, she blamed UPS for not updating their tracking numbers before 72 hours. the last time i called for support, Kevin informed me that my package had been delivered already and that my tracking number had changed upon shipping (a week ago) and he told me that the information had been on my account after looking at my order number. \ -Product arrived and it would not turn on. Please avoid this business!! I was referred to them for some computer repairs. They took possession of my computer and had it much longer than they quoted. I continued to call and inquire and was told that their "bigger accounts" take priority. Upon finally receiving my computer back, it was completely screwed. They replaced the hard drive and offered little to no guidance on the multitude of re-installing I needed to do. They told me my photo album of over 10,000 pictures would not be impacted, and they are scattered everywhere! My organization format is gone and several pictures are missing. Oh by the way, my computer is still slow and has the same issues prior to getting "fixed". The company does not return calls. The one time I got a live person to seek tech guidance, I was rushed off the phone and given only fast talking techno speak. When they refused to respond to my request for refund, I reported them to the BBB. They then tried to disavow knowledge of me as a customer, until I provided the receipt. Two and half weeks isn't terrible, but its not optimal. Definitely not satisfied that UPS ground was the only shipping method available. The PC arrived 03/09/22 in the evening, so it took about a month for the order to be completed and delivered. Then when the PC showed up, the shipping box had some minor damage. The box had some dings and the tape was partially frayed. I rate the completion and shipping of my order a 2.5/5. Parts relevant to this section: CPU: i7-11700k Motherboard: MSI z590 gaming plus GPU: 3080ti Cooler: Coolermaster AIO 240mm RGB Case: Vetroo MESH6 I also purchased a 5 packof additional RBG fans to help with cooling. Then there's the performance part. The first time I turned on the pc everything ran fine. I bought this game for Warzone specifically, I am working my way towards becoming an amateur Warzone player. I centered the entire PC build around overclocking the i7-117000k to maximize performance. The case, the cooler, the motherboard, and the fans were all purchased to overclock the CPU. I am new to overclocking so I did some research and I followed a guide that was safe to overclock, specifically for the i7-11700k. I tried following the guide to overclock the CPU, and the PC wouldn't start up correctly. It blue screens and then the bios message opens up and asks me if I want to revert back to default settings which I always click yes too. Every level of overclock has not worked even the smallest overclock doesn't start up correctly. So the whole build being centered around overclocking the CPU, and I have not been able to figure out how to overclock the CPU from a safe guide, I understand there's programs but I didn't try those. The performance rating is a 1/5. Finally we have the customer support section. I filed a tech support claim hoping to get walked through how to overclock the CPU. I filed a claim on 03/10/22, received a single call back 03/16/22 saying I have overdone it on the CPU and to clear the CMOS on the BIOS, and if that doesn't work they would be happy to ship me a new CPU at my expense. I called back that same day asking how to check for damage that I may have caused, and I also asked what are my options moving forward, considering paying for a new CPU or part. The day is 03/26/22, the tech still hasn't returned my phone call. So I decide to submit a return request from my phone because I have just had enough to this point. I understand it's not going to be perfect, mistakes will be made. But the lack of any effort at all to resolve my problem is unacceptable behavior from a business to a consumer. I decide to submit a refund request from my phone. I also left a review describing all of these issues. I never received any automated email about the return or review, so 03/31/22 I submitted a return request from my laptop and I instantly received an automated request from them about the request being received. So their website doesn't fully support mobile because my initial review and return request were sent into the void somewhere. This is a lot, I mean it's been WAY too much trouble to deal with. read more
