I've been ordering from GM Supplies every month for more than 5 years. I'm located about 2 hours from Vernon Hills, Illinois. They almost always have my orders to me the next business day when I use their ground shipping option (It's free when orders are over a certain dollar amount). So far, I've placed 95 orders with them. I can only recall one order where I received the wrong part (which was very similar to the one I ordered). They checked their inventory and found the mistake. I sent back the part and got the correct part the next day. I had no trouble getting help. Their website added photos of the parts and a nicer user interface in the years since I started buying from them. Their prices for more expensive items tend to be less expensive then other vendors. Their prices for less expensive items tend to be more expensive then other vendors, but still pretty close most of the time. The ease of use of their website covers the cost that I would otherwise deal with spending time navigating and buying parts through other websites. I've always had a pleasant experience buying through them. I've also emailed them for parts not listed on their website and they often are able to help get me unusual parts, which they seem to add to their website after I order them by email, which saves me time when I go to order those same unusual parts from them again in the future. I've dealt with many suppliers who claim to offer fedex shipping, and then proceed to sit on a shipment for over a week before actually sending it out. Kudos to GM Supplies for actually shipping in an extremely expedient manner. Will never buy toner elsewhere. read more

Worst interaction with the rudest person ever. They sent me the wrong product and they hung up on me saying that I will not receive the return label! Stay away from them! Order # PO318666759 To bad I didn't catch the persons name so I can write it here. They should listen to conversation and select the people that work there. What a shame having someone like that representing the company. I know for a fact I WILL NOT ORDER FROM THERE AGAIN. Amazon never did me wrong. Ordered the part my company IT informed me would be the correct part. GM sent and the part did not fit correctly. Out of the box for 2 minutes. I called to ask about a return and refund for the part not being correct. The rep I spoke with was rude and talked down to me for asking details about a refund and return label. He went on about factory seals. The thing came in bubble wrap. There was no seal. I let him know my IT guy said just return it for a refund its should be no problem. I was rudely told "I don't care what you IT guy said I am letting you know how this goes." Hit the wrong way and let him know I would just email. Please do not talk down to costumers following directions from their IT professionals. Would never recommend this company. I also never write reviews this is how mad I am. read more

I made an online purchase and received an order confirmation. I was later contacted about returning our equipment in exchange for the item purchased. I informed that I was not interested in doing that, as there is no mention of that requirement prior to my purchase. Then they just cancelled my order. This is a bait and switch tactic, so beware that they will try to up-sell you after your purchase. Don't waste your time here. read more

I have been ordering my toner cartridges from GM Supplies for a couple of years, they have the best prices anywhere and always ship very quickly. This shipment was no different except I had an issue with UPS and UPS ended up returning the shipment to GM Supplies. I call GM customer service and they resolved the issue extremely quickly. They shipped it out again at no additional charge to me, even though they had given me free shipping in the first place and this issue was not their fault. They have great customer service. I got online to order a part from GM Supplies. I found what I thought I needed, but the part # was different from the existing part that was in my limping, but functioning, Canon copier. So, I called GM Supplies and told them what my concern was. The representative told me on the phone that his part# was the only part# listed, by Canon, for my machine. How can you argue with that? I trusted him and purchased the part. I received it 2 days later. I Installed it in my machine, and it will not work. Most likely, for the same reason as my original concern - the part # was different. I called and asked if they had any recommendations, they did not. I asked for a return authorization number. Then, and only then, was I referred to their return policy which exludes parts that have been placed inside of a machine. Since my concern for the different part # prompted my call to their office, I feel it is unscrupulous to have sold me this part. They knew right off the bat, it didn't matter if it worked or not, because the only way I could find out if it would work, is to install it in my machine. At that point I have violated the return policy so, that part is sold forever. 1) I challenge anyone to find the return language on their website . Not once was a mention made of their return policy, let alone the harshness of it. With a policy this extreme. This should be talked about up front. I am certain the part, if it ever did work (I have no way of knowing this), was not damaged on my end. When I return the old part/part# to the machine, all though not perfectly clean, my machine does spit out copies. The same as it did prior to receiving the GM unusable part.
