There is more human activity in a morgue than in this particular Office Max. The other day, I needed a few office supplies so I did some price comparison shopping on their website and then drove over to the store to pick up items I needed. My company goes through so much paper, I should buy my own forest. We probably print 30,000 pages a month so I am always looking for good deals on boxes of paper. As a MaxPerks member, they were recently offering boxes of Boise paper for $30 with a $30 MaxPerks reward. In the end, the paper is free. Great deal there. Then I grabbed a 6 pack of plastic paper trays. Their website advertised that if you buy one pack of paper trays, you get the second pack at 50% off. So I take two packs of paper trays to the counter to be rung up. The rather large hispanic girl at the counter promptly rang the items up at full price. When I mentioned the sale that was posted to their website, she flippantly stated that the store doesn't honor sales posted to the website. Fine then. I promptly told her where she could stick her paper trays and I left. Going forward, my company will be doing all of its office supply shopping at Staples. On principle alone, Office Max is off the list of approved vendors. I'm usually pretty good at pointing out businesses that are dying and I'm going to say that this Office Max has 6 months left. One year tops.

Not too thrilled with my Zeaport experience so far…read more I wanted to buy a copier/printer for a small business that works with schools. It was going to replace a hp 11x17 that had been a workhorse (over 400,00 prints) but had finally died. Xerox machine was delivered. The invoice stated that it was a better model than it actually was. Turned the thing on and it copied fine. In the upcoming days I couldn't get it to scan to my computer no matter how hard I tried. The suggestion was to read the manual and set it up. I wonder why I didn't try that in the first place. A week or two after getting the printer, there was a big yellow bar that started printing on the side of the page. Looks like errant toner. I emailed and was told to swap around the drums. That didn't fix things. Next, the printer would randomly chunk a bunch of black toner all over the back side of pages...in addition to the yellow on the front. The solution from Zeaport was to get new toner and pull some cleaner levers. By this point I'm fairly frustrated that Zeaport doesn't care enough to follow up on their sale. After two weeks away without using the printer and two new toner cartridges this thing is printing horribly. Now I'm asked to pay $150 for someone to come look at this 'technician refurbished' machine that has only made a couple hundred prints and has problems immediately after delivery. Maybe this is the way that they get people to buy maintenance contracts. I didn't a 'technician certified refurbished' machine would be a P.O.S. right away. I'll update this after the technician takes a look at this and gives me an update. For now I'd tell anyone to avoid buying from Zeaport or to get a solid warranty or expectation of quality for the machine you get. At a minimum this equipment should work for 60-90 days without falling apart.

There was nothing hazardous in the box, I wanted to ask for a blank label to cover it up but he just yelled at me I ALREADY SAW THE HAZARDOUS MATERIAL LABEL, I NEED TO KNOW WHAT'S IN THE BOX! I said calm down, I need to cover it up. And he yelled again I ALREADY SAW IT!!!! OMG I was gonna even open to the box so he could see but no he had already pissed me off, so I said STOP I will go to a different FexEx, omg he should be working in a basement away from the general public if he's going to be freaking out like this.
