But the crown popped off, it was more than 5 years old since the original implant. The original crown was with another practitioner, but Dr K was able to clean and prepare the crown for reimplantation. Less than two day wait to be seen, less than 5 minute wait for the actual appointment in office. After approximately 10 minutes, my problem was solved-- the crown was re-cemented in place. I threw out the gummies. I use GEHA high option for insurance, and have never been disappointed with my share of the cost for services. GEHA allows three cleanings per year, and I have zero co-pay. No fees for parking on New Scotland Ave is another added attraction. I have never had a bad transaction with Dr Kanakasabapathi or her polite staff. I began with her office prior to the Covid epidemic.

They were very unprofessional with talking to the insurance rep and myself. She failed to honor the filing appt because of their error in billing. I had to wait until the next billing cycle in order to see another dentist which caused my cavity to worsen over time and now, I need a root canal in which my insurance doesn't cover. For future patients, please make sure they do not perform any services that are not covered by your insurance unless you agree to the service/payment up front.

I had a full oral exam and my teeth cleaned the best cleaning really I've ever had no pain. I can't stress enough how kind everybody is in that office. I've seen plenty of dentists, and they certainly are the team you want to see if you have problems with your teeth you'll be very pleased to meet the staff and you'll be very very happy with Dr. Fox's work very happy

A patient for 25 years mainly under the old ownership of the practice who have recently retired,…read morethe practice is not the same as it used to be. The new main dentist, rhymes with lox, has the personality of a greedy rock. Lipnick was great, the reason why I stayed with the practice for so long; with him gone, the practice has lost all patient centered focus, it's now $, $ and more $. After going over my annual dental insurance limit and being hit with a big bill, I paid in installments only to find out that during Covid, when I lost my job, the practice had referred my account to a collection agency - they call it an "accelerator." Nice euphemism for we don't give a shit about you, give us our money. Once I learned of the practices' money grubbing ways to a 25 year client, I gladly stepped away and hope others do as well in the hope of actually finding dentists with just a sliver of compassion, understanding and heart. You won't find it at Albany Dental Team!

I know how hard it can be to find a dentist, so I wanted to share what I could!…read more I have been looking for a new dentist recently, but everywhere I call in the Albany area is not accepting new patients. When I developed tooth pain earlier this week, I gave Aspen Dental a call and was pleased they were able to see me. They even offered a same day appointment! The only thing I found strange about my initial call to them was that they asked if I would also like to schedule cleanings for family members, which seemed a little "salesy" and was not a priority in the moment. When I arrived the receptionists were welcoming and the waiting room was comfortable and bright. I arrived 15 minutes early and they took me right away. I first had X-rays done with a very friendly technician who then took me to the dentist's chair. In the chair, I performed in-take paperwork on an iPad and had my blood pressure taken with a device that attaches to the wrist. I was impressed by how quickly the dentist saw me after I completed the forms on the iPad. He examined my teeth and the source of pain, which I had gone in suspecting was a cavity, but he ruled that out. He suspected my pain was likely some source of trauma to my gum and got me scheduled for a cleaning later next month. One of my favorite things about the visit was that there was a small tv above the chair where the dentist can review your x-rays with you. I appreciated being able to be seen so quickly to receive reassurance that the pain was not a sign of a cavity or structural damage to the tooth or root. I will update this review after my cleaning, but for now I felt they made a good impression and I look forward to returning.

Update. Today I went to another dental office and brought…read morethe CD with my records from Aspen. The hygienist tried two computers but was unable to open the CD. I wish Aspen used a more accessible software. Better yet, as was suggested by my new dentist, to just have the records, including x-rays, emailed to me

I guess his patients need very very deep cleaning before the dentist sees you The care quality is way below what other dentist Quality Is So he suggested I Get A Temporary Splint put on so I went for it Didn't go well Now food was getting trapped , was very sharp so my tongue was bruised Had another Doctor put 3 stitches on my tongue So when I came in for another cleaning! ( his patients has the cleanest teeth in the capital region) They tried to sand it down didn't work So dentist came in re-glued the splint Left two days later and now it's worst then it was before Two weeks later my insurance took him off there top of the referral list how I found him and sent me to one of their own referral dentist His first reaction was WOW! Holy Cow! Who Did This Work? New Dentist Said Very Poor Poor Quality Work! And Recommended Replacement of two bottom teeth the loose ones that this dentist suggested temporarily splint! Update: 6 months later after replacement Not one single problem! Teeth feel great ! My Warning In My Opinion Choose Your Dentist Wisely And Thoroughly!
