He also willingly switched from using the drill type pick to a hand pick tool only as I don't like the high pitch noise. Chan had me demonstrate how I floss and then made some suggestions so I didn't cause more gum damage. He even showed me old scarring from flossing too aggressively. This was the first time in my 69 years of many cleanings I was asked to show how I've been flossing. I so appreciated his gentle and efficient manner. I was given a bottle of water to tide me over before my appointment. Little things like that make a big difference. I had an implant that had fallen into disrepair and was unusable. Dr. Choi had the arduous task of removing the implant close to the nerve. He was able to perform the task with a minimum of discomfort and time spent in the office. During the procedure, Dr. Choi was entertaining, personable, and humorous. I had a great time talking to him and the hygienist was actively engaged in her work and the conversation we were having. I normally don't get too ecstatic about dental procedures; however, he managed to make it a pleasant experience. We just clicked, and I felt the experience was rewarding. He gave excellent instruction for after care, which resulted in only a small amount of pain. His follow up appointment was quick and made me feel comfortable that everything went smoothly. She was reported to our insurance company and now that we see she is still in practice we need to file more serious complaints when we have time. There were very serious complaints with 1 visit and 2 people. Her behavior was beyond scary and we still have the records of everything. Including what came out of her mouth! This person, who somehow is allowed to practice, tried to convince a man to pull perfect teeth without crowded teeth, disease, or reason. As we spoke to others about a horrible crazy dentist, they knew of this office and many people have had terrible outcomes. There is a history here.
