As well, I got grilled by Chi's wife when I told her I was switching dentists. They have my 88 year old mom going every 3 months for a cleaning. Correction: they HAD. No more.

I declined, but changed my mind since my financial situation changed and I now have low income dental insurance. I really liked Dr Chi and his office staff. The office is very nicely decorated and clean. They have new and sophisticated equipment which always makes me feel more at ease. I called to cancel my root canal appointment and I asked IF I could get cleanings and future fillings with Dr, Chi. (Using a specilist who would take my new insurance would save me $2700k - Dr. Chi's fee for root canal and crown). I was told NO I had to get my root canal with him ONLY and I could not even return there for cleanings or fillings!! This literally brought me to tears on the phone with his wife/receptionist! She didn't seem very understanding or compassionate. She just said he has a strict standard of care. *** Here is the kicker though! Today I went to a very well known root canal specialist who has been practicing for over 30 years, and he said this tooth/molar needs to be extracted because it is so severely cracked that a root canal would not even be successful! * standard of care, eh!? I really question the ethics of this dental practice. The root canal specialist said he has never heard of a dentist dropping clients for wanting to see another provider. He also said that it appears as if Evergreen is more motivated by money than standard of care! There are a lot of great dentists in this area who are more interested in the health of their patients, than the money in their pockets! I'd be wary to go here $$$

I waited a few days after my dental appointment to post a review because I could not stop crying. (Don't worry they are all tears of Joy) Dr. Cerny's office is nothing but professional. Each member on her team plays a vital role. Alice is wonderful she goes above and beyond helping patients figure billing out so we don't have too. Amanda the dental assistant is always smiling and a will go out of her way to make you comfortable. Lisa the dental hygienist is real gentle and the whole time she is cleaning your teeth she's educating you about proper care of brushing/flossing. I have never touched that charcoal based toothpaste again! Even the new girl Kaylie it's like she's been there since I became a patient. Everyone there is awesome all kind and respectful. It's comforting going into a Dentist office and not experiencing any anxiety or feeling judgement from any of her staff. The office is always clean and never smells bad. Dr. Cerny She is very honest and knowledgeable about cosmetic dental work but also what really is the right course of treatment. Most of all Dr. Cerny listened and only stated facts. She told me what she can deliver and not only did she make it happen but she truly cares about each and every single patient. She fixed my dental issues that were results from careless work performed by another dentist. I can chew properly now and there's no pain anymore. After the work she did to my mouth I have had nothing but compliments and people wanting her contact info. I can't Thank you Dr. Cerny and the team enough for making me smile again. I have all the confidence now to take more selfies with my daughter. Without you taking me as your patient and working with me this would not have happened. I actually can't wait to see them again in a few weeks. If anyone is looking for a respectful dentist office and a professional team please check Dr. Julia Cerny out. Oh FYI not only does she do dental work both general cosmetic and orthodontist she also does Botox, lip fillers, Euro/threading etc. I think it's safe to call her #SuperWoman in the white lab coat. I have shared before and after pictures on her business fb.

He had xrays and I was sent there by my dentist with a message from her for an extraction. They tell me no this is just the consult. They had my health questions filled out on the email they sent me with meds and health issues filled out. I don't have a lot of time as I work full time and care for an ill family member on hospice. My time is limited. There is barely a tooth there as it was decayed under the crown. When I did see the dentist he asked me two questions stuck his finger in my mouth and said ok we can do this today but I have to fit you in. Two hour wait time. If they had told me that it was a consult I would not have taken the appointment. He may be a good surgeon but there was no communication. They asked me to be there at 720 and they didn't open the door until 730. Then they wanted a fee for a consult, that was a hard no. So no I would not recommend him. His office was all pretty furniture and big screen TVs but I feel it was just a little too foofoo and not enough medical.

This place sets an example for the rest of the medical industry. If you're tired of corporate…read morebullshit "healthcare," go here. This is a true family practice, run by the doctor and his wife. Dr. DeSantis cares more about the patient outcome and experience than he does about the bottom line. He works for himself, not for a profit-driven corporation that will still try to upsell you when your teeth are falling out and all your credit cards are maxed out. I came here as a last resort after having my mouth ruined at a corporate dentist's office. I had two baby canines, which my former dentist pulled and fitted with temporary bridges...which proceeded to fall off six times in a month (which is great if you want to lose weight, since I couldn't eat properly). I ended up enduring at least two weeks with four tiny peg teeth on each side. Thank god I work remotely. See my review for 1st Advantage Dental for the gory details. Enter East Greenbush Dental. I sent them a (probably) panicked, overdramatic email explaining my dire situation. They agreed to see me last minute even though I was a new patient. Dr. DeSantis checked out my tiny stub teeth and did some 3-D x-rays, and then proceeded to build from thin air a set of temporary bridges that lasted not 3 days, but over two months. Early this week, he put in the permanent bridges and they are perfect. I'm not afraid that my teeth are permanently damaged or that these bridges are going to fall out in 3 weeks. I know that this doctor knows what he's doing and actually cares about the outcome. Dr. DeSantis will explain everything and he takes his time. You won't see the doctor for only 30 seconds (or not at all) like at ordinary practices. He has a varied background that includes some programming and graphic design so if you're lucky, he will be able to whip some teeth out of the ether and into the 3-D printer like he did for me. He's also funny, and has a bit of a Beastie Boy vibe (if you're not an elder Millennial or baby Gen X, that statement won't make any sense, so just don't worry about it). I'll be a patient here until they either fire me or the doctor retires.
