I hadn't been to see a dentist since pre Covid. I called on a whim and got in for a cleaning. We came up with a plan for replacing old cracked fillings and for a tooth that I hung onto for way too long. The hygienist was amazingly friendly and professional and so good at her craft. She put me on a shorter cleaning schedule so I could catch up from the neglect through Covid days. Didn't hurt a bit! After about a year and a half playing catch up, the work has begun. I'm well on my way to my teeth being fully restored! Also, after weighing all of my options about that darn tooth, I finally got rid of it and can smile again without being embarrassed. They provided me with choices and gave me time to make the right decision for myself. No pressure! I'm glad I chose here. I can see the difference in care from other places I have been. They work as a team. Dr. Seaback is amazing. Very skilled! She also worked with my insurance after a denial and they caved! She's amazing. This place has washed away my dental anxiety and I'm well on my way to a beautiful healthy smile again. I'm so grateful to them! read more

I recently had an unpleasant experience at Smile Zone dentist office. The secretary was very unprofessional and had a bad attitude. Today after I finished working as a teacher and drove to my appointment but was a 6 mins late. The secretary cancel my appointment. A few months ago, my husband also talked to this rude secretary. He told my husband that he would have to wait 40 mins even though my husband scheduled an appointment before hand. I would never go back here. read more

My previous dentists office went dark after covid and never responded to my attempts to communicate so I had to find a new dentist. The Smile Zone was recommended to me by a friend who had been there before and had a good experience. The first thing I noted was that they had a good web site with all the paper work I needed to fill out available for me to print out and fill in ahead of my visit. I liked this because I hate spending time at intake filling in that stuff. The second thing I really liked about this dentist was their hours. I was able to make appointments as early as 7AM on weekdays. While they were not open on weekends, my previous dentist wasn't open as early, on weekends, and also Fridays. Being able to fill out my paper work ahead of time and arrive for my appointment before I had to go to work saved me a lot of time in my day and afforded me the option of not having to take time off from work to see the dentist. Upon arrival, I was able to appreciate a few things too. First there was location. The Smile Zone has a good sized parking lot off of Sand Creek rd. Near the Hanna Ford plaza but well before Wolf Rd. Second was that the office had good Covid protocols in place. They stopped you at the door wearing a mask and ensured you were wearing yours. They had you fill out a questionnaire using a pen they then put into a separate container to then sterilize before someone else used it. There was a temperature check and plenty of hand sanitizer available. The visit went well. My dental hygienist was amicable, efficient and knew her job well. Best of all, she was well versed at reading the room and didn't feel the need to fill the silence with lots of chat. Sometimes when I visit dentists they talk a lot. Which is weird because I literally cannot respond with a mouth opened and being worked on. This person simply did her job, made some minor commentary and mostly maintained a professional demeanor where she read off important data to someone else who transcribed it. Then the dentist and owner visited me, advised I had a couple things that needed work that were minor, and they made my second appointment then and there which I was able to make early in the morning to avoid missing a day of work which I cannot stress enough was a big deal I really appreciated in a dentists office. They further recommended a brand of toothpaste (sensodine) for some sensitivity I was worried about that turned out to be much easier to manage this way than through any sort of corrective procedures. One big deal I really appreciated was when I asked about my overbite. My previous dentist scared the living daylights out of me when they said if I didn't get it fixed, I would lose all my upper front teeth. This sort of correction would require a lot of money and not be covered. Likely it would involve breaking my jaw and then wiring it shut to heal for weeks of pain and recovery. This dentist explained that this fear was unwarranted. That in fact the upside to how severe my overbite was was that my lower teeth were not rubbing up against the gun line of my upper teeth. So while corrective surgery would be something I could make a case for, it was not medically necessary. I had been living with it my whole life, able to eat, and not done damage to my gums or teeth with my overbite. Shifting the concern from one of medical to cosmetic took a lot of stress off of my decision and I really appreciated it. Overall, The Smile Zone had a more polished, almost corporate feel than the typical, "some dude in a house they turned into a business" feel many dentists I have gone to before have. There are many dentists at the practice, many hygienists, a great deal of efficiency in their bureaucracy and website, and they even offer referral bonuses which my friend will be happy to hear when they visit next time and get a referral credit off whatever they get done. I recommend the Smile Zone. They do good work and clearly are capable of adapting and even thriving during difficult times where other dentists did not. read more

After going to this place for many years myself and my children. I cancelled my daughters appointment who had COVID and it went through my house. In order for my child for my child to be seen I needed to pay the $100.00. Today my daughter has a fever and a rash. I call the office bc I was afraid to cancel again. I told them I would have medical paperwork from Dr but I wasn't cancelling bc of last time. Thwy said it's a broken appointment and kicked us out of the practice. The financial lady Tracy is so unprofessional and horrible to deal with. The Business owner not much better. They create false bills, lie and are money hungry' I hope the dentists know the types of people they have running their practice' read more

I have been going to this dentist for over a year. I have referred manyyy people from my job and my family. I recently was dismissed due to missing appointments or cancelations. Any time I spoke with the receptionist there was no warning just ohhh it's okay when can I reschedule you? There is no warnings before they term you at their dentist. There is no paper you need to sign about to many cancelations. I will be moving my family due to force but also I tried to call and rectify the situation offered to pay a fee even with no warning. They are great I was happy there but that is not fair or proper patient treatment. Make sure you ask them about their policy since there is no communication on their part until they term you. The receptionist I just spoke to said I missed 3 or 4..she claims in a row but that is not accurate. I let her know this past time I was sick with covid. Chipped another tooth on Friday and got to see Dr. Seaback on the following Thursday. She was able to patch the tooth the same day and today it feels great. Thank you Dr. Seaback and her assistant. I am always satisfied with the dental work at this office in the wonderful professional and immediate way it is handled. Additionally, the staff is always friendly and helpful. I recently joined the AARP Delta insurance company because this office no longer accepted Met Life. It went into effect on Thursday, the 1st of June. That is why I waited until Thursday to make an appointment. The office did offer me an appointment the following Monday but I declined because I was not in any pain and the chipped tooth did not interfere with my everyday needs. I came here from a referral and was pleased with Dr. Buckley. She took the time to discuss my TMJ situation and quickly understood how to realign my bite. She was very professional and had a welcoming demeanor. I am a bit surprised about the comments on here about root canals as I was told when I went in that they don't perform them there--I had also come to get a second opinion on a root canal and was referred out to Dr. Aibel, an awesome endodontist, who just this morning fixed my root canal issue. I am new to the area and needed to find a dentist. I asked around at work, and a coworker suggested The Smile Zone. She said her family was very happy with their services. I checked out their website and made an appointment for both my daughter and myself. I highly suggest The Smile Zone. The office was very clean, and the staff was very polite and professional. We received a tour of the office and an explanation of their different services and treatments. Our exams were very thorough- honestly, I did not expect to have 18 x-rays taken of my mouth! Veronica the dental hygienist was gentle and also explained each step. My daughter saw one doctor and I saw a different one, and both were very professional and friendly. After years of going here and paying for all kinds of problems I found out when I saw a specialist for a second opinion that their work was substandard. I had a root canal fail after only 18 months. They started it, one of the dentists was unable to complete it so I had to come back to have a senior dentist do it and then in less than 18 months the root fractured. read more

I have been coming here since I was a kid with Dr. T--he has since retired and it seems that the practice has retired well manners as well. I've never been spoken to the way the hygienist and the "office manager" at a doctors office. Very very sad that my visit was so horrible. read more

I was a patient in this office since 2012. First was seen by Tramontana, who sold his practice to current dentist Schumer (sp?). It was maybe a year that I saw the same dentist and from that point onwards, it's somebody else each visit. Really hate to have no continuity whatsoever. Not particularly impressed with the quality of their work (bridge done that is not a good match and doesn't cover my teeth properly, which is most likely another major expense out of my pocket because of a so-so job done). Heidi was the only hygienist whom I greatly enjoyed, but she was overbooked years ago and even more so now. Current hygienist they hired did the worst cleaning I have ever had (didn't bother threading under my bridge!). Seriously looking for another dental office as I am getting tired to be bounced like a pingpong from a hygienist to a hygienist and from one dentist to another every 6 months. read more

I was initially excited after having my teeth cleaned and although the staff was very pleasant and accommodating Dr. Page was a big disappointment. She checked my teeth banging on each tooth so hard that I thought she'd chipped several teeth. She didn't seem to have much experience, relatively unfriendly, and didn't much care. read more
