In all my life I never had a dentist that I looked forward to the visit. That all changed when Dr. V took over the office. I have had three crowns replaced and they are still going strong and fit perfectly. He uses the strongest materials and does not use metal. He is very attentive to your needs and always makes sure you are completely numb in the area he works on. He checks constantly on your comfort level. I can tell when he is working on my teeth that he is a perfectionist, checking and double checking everything. I have had zero pain when he works on my teeth and that is the comfort we should all expect. His staff is exceptional, attentive, and the best all around. They even worked with my insurance to remove extra charges that should have been covered. Really surprised at the 1 star comments, but I am sure that is his competitors using bots to downrate him. I know how hard it can be to find a dentist, so I wanted to share what I could!…read more I have been looking for a new dentist recently, but everywhere I call in the Albany area is not accepting new patients. When I developed tooth pain earlier this week, I gave Aspen Dental a call and was pleased they were able to see me. They even offered a same day appointment! The only thing I found strange about my initial call to them was that they asked if I would also like to schedule cleanings for family members, which seemed a little "salesy" and was not a priority in the moment. When I arrived the receptionists were welcoming and the waiting room was comfortable and bright. I arrived 15 minutes early and they took me right away. I first had X-rays done with a very friendly technician who then took me to the dentist's chair. In the chair, I performed in-take paperwork on an iPad and had my blood pressure taken with a device that attaches to the wrist. I was impressed by how quickly the dentist saw me after I completed the forms on the iPad. He examined my teeth and the source of pain, which I had gone in suspecting was a cavity, but he ruled that out. He suspected my pain was likely some source of trauma to my gum and got me scheduled for a cleaning later next month. One of my favorite things about the visit was that there was a small tv above the chair where the dentist can review your x-rays with you. I appreciated being able to be seen so quickly to receive reassurance that the pain was not a sign of a cavity or structural damage to the tooth or root. I will update this review after my cleaning, but for now I felt they made a good impression and I look forward to returning.

My first experience with Drs. Vallecorsa could not have gone better! Though I guess you could say…read morea 4 month wait for my first appointment, and an over-full parking lot could be areas for dissatisfaction, instead I looked at that as proof of a well-managed and popular business. The initial setup and paperwork went very smoothly. Everyone here is very friendly and professional, and even though the dental area of the home is very busy, it's almost as if there's some secret traffic director or choreographer helping things run smoothly. My first consultation with their newest and youngest Dr. Vallecorsa also went really well, even to the point of him offering to reattach a partial crown that had popped off one of my molars unexpectedly a few days earlier. It was great being able to see my teeth on the high-res monitor as well, a luxury I hadn't had at my prior dentist. I'm very glad this practice had been recommended to me.

Dr. Goldman told me that he couldn't do my root canal because it was a wisdom tooth. But I had all…read moremy wisdom teeth out. Then he referred me to a private practice $$$. That my only option was paying big bucks or pulling it. The problem really is not only do I not have big bucks, but my mouth is too small for his hands to get in way back there to do this complicated back tooth. I remember years ago when he was back at K&FD his long time assistant saying something about she had to do something for him ''because of his hands'', she let it out to me years ago she had to do things for him that the doctor was supposed to do ''because of his hands''. I believe he is cherry-picking cases that will suit his hands. Because he tried to tell me this was a wisdom tooth and had to be done by a specialist (when I had all four wisdom teeth pulled) when the tooth is number 31. I wasnt 16 when they were pulled I was 30 so it was only 15 years ago not 30 years ago. So I remember! When I called the new private dentist they informed me that tooth 31 is not a wisdom tooth number 32 was. I told her that Dr. Goldman said it was?! But again I had them removed, so I wasn't going to argue. HE was the dentist! He had me doubting my own memory. Maybe I didn't get all four out? Now, he has me guessing? I swear I had them all out because I remember I went to work, and they expected me to answer the phones after I had surgery. And, my mouth was suffering from dry socket syndrome, and I was in intolerable pain, and it was best I go home. I couldn't talk. That indicates to me it was all four not just two... This is many months later, and I am in need of the root canal so badly the pain is coming through my pain relievers, and it is infected. I call the number Dr. Goldman office gave to me to the specialist but it is disconnected. So I called Dr Goldmans office and Luckily I got the wonderful, caring, good listening skills and an asset to the office, Ms. JESSIE the receptionist on the phone and she spent time looking up the number for me on the info they have and also went online! She went online for me to check! Isn't that amazing customer service! What an asset for this dentist office! Who would have known there was this gem working there! She is so grounded and felt for me and my circumstances, and listened to me and figured out the specialist number and said it was the right number. And we decided to try again. All in all, I finally figured out it was MY private telephone number giving me the disconnected signal! I figured out I have to press *82 before their line will accept my phone number! Duh. Anyway, the entirety of my rating is due to Jessie the most amazing and caring receptionist, I have ever talked to over the phone or in person and definitely deserves a massive raise!
