I panicked, I cried. I went home to my girl and was ashamed. First thing in the morning I began to look up reviews and prices for dentists. I researched, I asked people for recommendations. My girlfriend was told by her professor that Dr. Vignali has been her family dentist (4 children) for years and that she highly recommends his office. WOW I called around 10 am and they gave me a 2 oclock appointment which I was happy to except. I am not insured (despite working 80 hrs per week with 4 jobs), so price was an obvious concern. This place was not the cheapest, but not the most expensive either (for some reason a dentist on Broadway in Downtown Albany, whose prices were half of most others and whose reviews claimed the office was dirty didn't make me want to trust them with my front teeth). I waited for about five minutes. The staff was so comforting from the assistant to the secretaries to the Dentist himself. They made the worst experience of my life much easier. The office was meticulously clean. They had the latest equipment, including a flat screen TV that showed you the x rays as soon as they were taken with a cool little x-ray gun and not the big machine I am used to. When the Dr. gave my the anesthetic it was painless. The procedure was also painless, and quick. Before I knew it I had nice presentable teeth. They were also very good at educating me on what they were doing, how I should care for my new teeth, and what to expect in the future. They did not try to sell me on a bunch of needless procedures and work like some dentists have in the past. Overall, I recommend this office very highly. They made a world of difference for me through this terrible mishap.

The technician really put me at ease with nice chatter to take my mind off things and even make me laugh before dr came in. Dr Vignali went slowly and explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way which relaxed me tremendously. He is knowledgeable about TMJ issues, unlike otherwise dentists Ive been to. I needed the application of ceramic that matched my teeth. They matched them perfectly! They also had to do some filing down of the new ceramic material on my teeth. He carefully and checked my bite and made adjustments multiple times to make sure teeth were touching everywhere evenly. I am happy to smile again.

I waited a few days after my dental appointment to post a review because I could not stop crying. (Don't worry they are all tears of Joy) Dr. Cerny's office is nothing but professional. Each member on her team plays a vital role. Alice is wonderful she goes above and beyond helping patients figure billing out so we don't have too. Amanda the dental assistant is always smiling and a will go out of her way to make you comfortable. Lisa the dental hygienist is real gentle and the whole time she is cleaning your teeth she's educating you about proper care of brushing/flossing. I have never touched that charcoal based toothpaste again! Even the new girl Kaylie it's like she's been there since I became a patient. Everyone there is awesome all kind and respectful. It's comforting going into a Dentist office and not experiencing any anxiety or feeling judgement from any of her staff. The office is always clean and never smells bad. After filling out paperwork, the technician and I had such a nice friendly conversation as we waited for the doctor to come in. As soon as he came in he said "Thank you for choosing us" saying also many other dentists exist closer to me and he appreciated the fact that I chose to come to him. Because the filling fell out some time before, I expected complications. But he said, nothing we haven't handled before, and fixed everything without a problem; no pain, not extensive.... Usually I put out a bad review quickly cause of annoyance. In this case I was so happy, and though I wanted to put out this review before, I didn't get to it til now. Months later, I have no problems. Better than any dentist I have had before.

In all my life I never had a dentist that I looked forward to the visit. That all changed when Dr. V took over the office. I have had three crowns replaced and they are still going strong and fit perfectly. He uses the strongest materials and does not use metal. He is very attentive to your needs and always makes sure you are completely numb in the area he works on. He checks constantly on your comfort level. I can tell when he is working on my teeth that he is a perfectionist, checking and double checking everything. I have had zero pain when he works on my teeth and that is the comfort we should all expect. His staff is exceptional, attentive, and the best all around.
