I'm not a doctors type of person. I've had the same primary care for 7 years, although I wasn't thrilled with him, I had no reason to change because I wasn't there enough to care. The thought of changing was not thrilling to me. I saw Nurse Practitioner Ericka Matzen at this practice and she was LOVELY! So were the staff! She was fairly new to the practice, but she made me more comfortable in one visit then my previous doctor had in 7 years. I lost my father last Christmas. It's sometimes very hard to talk about along with my mental health and the staff and Ericka made me feel very relaxed. Had no issues whatsoever with medication reordering, and also had my physical done. Was very thorough with her questions and physical. It wasn't just a look at your ears check lungs and heart and that's it, which is awesome. Overall very lovely and sweet staff, great friendly atmosphere. In my personal and professional opinion do not knock a NP, ever! I know people want to see the "actual doctor" a lot. But NP's are more use to the hands on bedside care that doctors may not focus on so much. After all they were once nurses!!!! I 100% recommend Ericka!

They called me 1 week before my appointment and told me I have to reschedule. She is not available till February of next year. I have to wait another 6 months. I am 64 years old and I have some concerns I wanted to discuss with her. They told me I can see someone else! Not only being upset about that, I had my blood work done for my physical and they ended up changing me $399. after I was told it was covered. I think it is time to find another doctor. Today my son had an appointment time of 1430. We did not get called back until 1510. Since I had spoken with Capitol Imaging who sent the report I was put on hold for 20 minutes to await stressful results. Run, do not walk away from this practice of surely over worked and underpaid nurses doing the work of doctors. Don't encourage sub par patient care while corporate makes big profits.

I went to the office on Feb 5th 2025 had to see her being my dr was out…read moreof the office and I was over being sick.. her pa in training came in and listened to my lungs as said they sounded diminished.. patrica came in the room as I was explaining whats going on and has been over the last two months at that point.. she was rolling her eyes never listened to my lungs and said here's an antibiotic this covers everything so if it's pneumonia you'll be good if it's strep you'll be good.. well let's fast forward to march 9th I ended up in wellnow because I couldn't breathe come to find out I was on the wrong antibiotic because I had walking pneumonia... This dr don't deserve to be working for anywhere if she can easily shove someone on an antibiotic based on what they say they have going on...
