Most importantly, I left my prescription glasses which must have fallen from my purse when I reached for my cellphone to make sure it was turned off prior to the movie. I knew they had to be left at the theater when I could not find them. I thought they would be thrown away but decided to go back and ask if they had a lost and found. A very nice young man asked if my glasses were all black and I said yes. He said, "Just a moment," and went and got my glasses and brought them back to me. I am so grateful. At the concessions, I had 3 coupons from a Christmas promo. The poor guy had to enter them separately and this is where things got weird. I asked him what was closest to $5 and he said a bottled beverage. On the screen it showed $5.80 for a bottled beverage. When he rang up my Fairlife chocolate milk (I'll get to this later), it was $6.30 or $6.80. Either way, I got to use my coupons even though it took 7-10 min. My popcorn was stale and severely disappointing but whatever...it was 9am. The chocolate milk, well, I thought it was a protein shake as it did end up having 23g of protein. However, it did not use the lactose free milk and I suffered drastically during the middle of the film. That was my fault. The Coke Zero syrup was okay but I've had better. The concession area was spectacularly clean. The patron checking tickets was super diligent and wonderful at his job. I was happy to, once again, see how local Cinemarks hire those with disabilities. My seat didn't recline all of the way and now I know why no one chose my row (I wish they would have told me it was a Dbox row when I purchased the ticket).
