After rehoming my dog and no longer owning a pet, I contacted The Social Pet regarding the remaining rewards balance on my account. Instead of addressing my specific circumstances, I received a generic explanation of how rewards points can be redeemed for future pet services, which obviously did not apply to my situation. After being a long-term customer and spending a significant amount of money on daycare, boarding, packages, and other services, I expected a more thoughtful and individualized response. My concern is not simply the monetary value of the remaining points; it is how a loyal customer was treated at the end of a 2 1/2-year relationship with the business. Customer service matters just as much at the end of a relationship as it does when a customer is actively spending money.

For the first time, they need a 'meet and greet' this is a full day of daycare for free where they basically watch to see if your dog is an appropriate fit. It was hard to find a day that worked as they had specific times to drop off for the meet and greet. So that took a few weeks to get scheduled. When we finally got in there, they were very friendly and gave me a tour of the facility so I could see what it looked like. When I picked him up they told me how he did and that he 'passed'. Moving forward, you do have to book ahead of time to secure a spot for your dog. I have done it the day before and have not had a problem of them being full yet. They also post on their Instagram and on the door of the building if they have walk-in availability for the day without a reservation. You can book right on the website as well as purchase days of daycare online, and the more days you purchase, the more $$ you save. They do not have webcams and they don't do any sort of 'report card' at the end of the day, so we just assume that no news is good news with how he did, haha! They do have an Instagram and post many photos of dogs daily. Our dog has been featured about half the amount of days he's been there. When he comes home he is exhausted. Typically for that day and the day after! Last time we took him, he was so sleepy for almost 48 hours that we really debated if he was sick but then just realized he was exhausted from having a great day of daycare lol! They are open from 7-7 on the weekdays so convenient for work schedules. We will be back!

I had left instructions of how much to feed her, vet name and number, emergency vet number, etc. , etc. And this is after Devin came into my apartment and I had gone over everything with her! Devin texted me, took pictures and gave me a detailed description of how Mia was doing when I was gone. She cleaned her kitty litter, tried to play with her and even gave her treats! Mia hid from her but by the second day she actually came out of her hiding place. When Devin texted me that, it made me so happy! I did not worry at all about how Mia was doing by being alone because I knew that she was in good hands. I really enjoyed myself without having to be stressed out! It was so wonderful. Monroe Animal Hospital continues to impress me with their exceptional customer service, skill, and genuine compassion. They truly treat every pet as an individual and take the time to find the approach that works best for them. I was especially amazed during Tootsie's recent nail trim. For years, previous vets told me sedation was the only option because she was so fearful. I watched as Dr. Fackrell and Magda calmly assessed the situation and confidently tried a different approach. Instead of forcing the issue, they used a gentle "air jail" hold, allowing Tootsie to stay secure while Magda quickly trimmed her nails. She didn't even flinch! It was over in moments, and for the first time, it felt like her fear and the stress surrounding nail trims had finally been broken. If you've struggled with a dog who dreads nail trims, I can't recommend Dr. Fackrell and Magda enough. They make an incredible team, and their patience and expertise made all the difference.
