I had left instructions of how much to feed her, vet name and number, emergency vet number, etc. , etc. And this is after Devin came into my apartment and I had gone over everything with her! Devin texted me, took pictures and gave me a detailed description of how Mia was doing when I was gone. She cleaned her kitty litter, tried to play with her and even gave her treats! Mia hid from her but by the second day she actually came out of her hiding place. When Devin texted me that, it made me so happy! I did not worry at all about how Mia was doing by being alone because I knew that she was in good hands. I really enjoyed myself without having to be stressed out! It was so wonderful. I will definitely be using them again!

In the video footage we could see dogs mounting and fighting each other with absolutely no effort from the staff to break it up. My sister also left her dog here during this time and had the same experience. Our normally outgoing dogs are currently whimpering and cowering in the corner reeking of urine. They've never been like this before and I am absolutely disgusted. They've never been like this coming back from any other facility either. Something's going on with this place.. and I sincerely hope people read this and avoid this place at all costs.

In fact his love for daily visits to the dog park are why we prefer boarding him over having someone watch him at our home. Club Fetch had the notes from the other facility and chose to give our boy a chance. They sent daily report cards evaluating his behavior with photos and took excellent care of our dog. When I picked him up they said that he was an angel and was welcome to stay there anytime. Club Fetch gives us great peace of mind. We are so thankful to have a safe and loving place to care for our dog when we have to be away.

They then proceeded to look at my records for my pet and stated "You need every single distemper shot in the series to be seen. NC state law." Upon a simple google search, the only shot required by law is the rabies shot (which my dog has). I was refused grooming for no reason by an ill informed staff team. Not to mention the lack of customer service by not having a booking system that works and lack of basic phone etiquette.

Teddy usually falls asleep on the ride home from camp as she's so exhausted from her doggy adventures but you can tell how happy and incredibly well cared for she is during her time away. We've had issues with boarding facilities in the past (check my reviews if interested) which left us hesitant to booking, especially considering the expense that comes with larger breed considerations. However, not only does TCC have better care, facilities, and customer service; they are also easier on the checkbook. Teddy definitely has a home away from home in TCC, and even though our new move puts us another 15 minutes out, we wouldn't go anywhere else!

This is an update for Nana's Pet Sitting…read more This past year I have added a 5th dog to my group. At one point it was a foster dog that hated other dogs. Nana's Pet Sitting did a wonderful job at caring for my four and being quite creative at caring for my foster who was fearful around strangers. All was handled beautifully by Heidi and Linda. In the fall and at Christmas (2019) I was away and had adopted a 5th dog. This 5th dog is a puppy. Heidi came in 4 times a day as I always schedule and cared well for all of my dogs. There were medications to be given plus my dogs must be rotated due to one disliking one of my others. With the 5th it has caused Heidi to need more time which Linda gave her and which I agreed to cover financially! That old saying .. you get what you pay for!! I've heard of Lucky Dog for sure, but never had a reason to go before getting a pup. Once I did all my research they seemed like the best option for our boy and man we were not disappointed. We took our dog to get a full wash, trim, etc. We had just adopted him from the Humane Society and really wanted to pamper him and get him all cleaned up. First of all, the staff in the office is so kind and warm. You can tell they love dogs! That made us and our doggo a lot more relaxed for our first visit. They give you plenty of info and reassurance. When we picked him up he looked amazing!!! His coat was shining and he was all smiles. They also did a temperament test for him too, which was great because the Humane Society didn't have a lot of history for him so we didn't know how he'd do with other dogs. I love that they do the temperment test for free and give you a whole report card!!! Such a fun and helpful touch. Our dog loves it here. He never wants to leave when we pick him up lol. Dr. Short at Long Animal has cared for my pup for a few years now. He's the best. My dog, Anakin,…read morehad an acute episode of not eating/not moving in the spring, and Dr. Short was the one who thought to take his temp, it was quite high. He stabilized Anakin and put him on meds, but over the course of some months his labs weren't improving so Dr. Short sent us to an internal med specialist. Anakin received an untreatable cancer diagnosis. We now talk every week by phone to discuss Anakin's status and at some point I'll need his guidance on when it's time to allow Anakin to no longer suffer. This has been an incredibly tough year, and Dr. Short has made it more manageable to bear. At every visit he always asked if I had more questions, led me in shared decision making, was calm, measured, and empathetic. The staff at Long Animal are also really nice. If I ever get another dog, I'll be coming back.
