Finally found our designated donut shop and love that it's family owned and operated! We were greeted immediately with the warmest welcome by the two store attendants. Even arriving just before 11am on a Sunday, we were happy to find a great selection of not only donuts, but kolaches and ham and cheese crossaints still available in the bakery cases. We decided upon a classic glazed donut, a maple bacon bar, 3 frosted donuts, an apple fritter, a ham and cheese crossaint, and two large kolaches (one sausage and cheese the other jalapeño sausage and cheese). This scrumptious haul totalled an amazingly fair $20.59. Let me tell you, these donuts were excellent! Too often these days you'll find donut shops that provide over the top, expensive donuts that lack flavor and are dry. Or worse, they will be too greasy or have a burnt/old oil taste. However, the donuts offered by LV Donuts are not only tasteful with an excellent texture, but fresh and non greasy. Those kolaches are the best I've had in Las Vegas as well (very reminiscent of the best Texas kolaches). Lastly, the ham and cheese crossaint was delicious! Definitely ask to have it and the kolaches warmed up - you won't regret it. There's also juices, smoothies, and coffee drinks offered too. I love coming to LV donuts even if it's out of the way going home in the morning. No matter who works they always welcome you in and don't make you feel like you owe them your money. They have a friendly attitude and now they redone the inside a bit it feels just a little more inviting. The donuts here are tasty and definitely not oily as some other spots can be. The thing I like about their donuts are also the chocolate they use to top some of the donuts. It's super smooth and isn't super sweet. It's the right amount. It isn't fancy or anything but who really needs it to be? I ordered a dozen donuts: chocolate sprinkles, Boston cream, glaze, & maple bar. It's been a long time since I've had a doughnut that I actually liked. Then one day, my dad brought home a box of them. The first thing that caught my eye was the colorful box, and I really liked it. Great local donut shop. Donuts are soft and melt in your mouth. Strawberry crunch and cinnamon crunch were messing but delicious. It was just a faint flavor, nothing overpowering and the perfect amount of sweet. I am not big on the super sweet donuts. The donuts went perfectly with my almond flavored espresso drink with steamed milk. I ordered a dozen but they hooked me up with a bakers dozen. Also grateful for an extra donut. Very friendly staff and I had no waiting when I arrived at 7:30am. They still had lots of options to chose from. I'll have to try a fritter next time. They offer hot breakfast sandwiches also. Anywho, this small donut shop is right across from where I fill up my water bottles Today I had a raspberry filled, pina colada smoothie and bacon egg biscuit. The guy warmed up my biscuit and placed it on the counter while the lady took a long time making my smoothie. I kept touching the outside of the biscuit bag to ensure it was staying warm.
