When I was asked if I'd been there before and answered no, the time in one of the workers voice dropped and then I was told it would be a 30 min wait. Two people came in while I was sitting and waiting (no appointment made) and a gentleman was told it would be a 5 min wait for a pedicure (after asking if he needed to come back later) and he immediately was directed to a chair. I could tell the other two were regulars by how they were greeted. After seeing this I remained patient but grew flustered seeing technicians finish and run to them just because they were spending more money. I sat for about an hour I acknowledged even when there were 3 technicians free. I would not recommend this establishment to out-of-towners.

The location is so cute in the renovated house and I absolutely recommend them if you're on the fence and are nervous first time waxing whatever the case and I've never had that type of painless experience before

I'm no stranger to waxing, but I've always wanted to try sugaring and this was my first time…read more With sugaring, it is also removing the hair but it is much more gentle on your skin. I came in with no expectations of the pain level, and it ended up hurting a lot less than waxes I've gotten in the past. When you arrive you'll need to take off your shoes at the door. There's water in the waiting room and plenty of seating and reading material. Lucianne was super patient and provided a lot of information on the process. She was gentle (as far as hair removal goes) and made my first sugaring experience super relaxing. If you're used to waxing, the pain is no where compared to a Brazilian wax. If you're nervous l, highly recommend taking a Tylenol beforehand. They sell natural skincare products in-house, and I purchased their serum created by Ritual Union (ritual_Union on IG) to use and help with ingrowns and moisturizing. It's full of great ingredients and I'm excited to be using it. If you're into skincare/body care, Lucianne recommended to check out Earth Commons on Springdale Road. They also do events, sell tea blends, and offer holistic services. Absolutely loved my experience and I think this has converted me from using hard wax to sugaring. Highly recommend if you're looking to try sugaring!

I found her page again and decided to book an appointment for a full-service eyebrow waxing which is $37 which is absolutely ridiculous but hey, it's her prices and I liked her work before so I opted to just go with her and pay the extremely unreasonable price anyway. I get to the appointment 5 minutes late and she tells me that she can only work on me for 5 minutes because she has someone at 5pm. OK so I understood that and continue to proceed to the appointment. I get to the appointment, she does just the bottom of my brows and sent me on my way with no mirror or asking me how I like it, NOTHING and still charges me the full balance of $37 even though she did HALF the job! $37 for 4 minutes of work is absolutely disgusting! I will never in my life return to this business again that was extremely unprofessional and not cool because I have been coming to this business for years! She clearly has no consideration for her clients. I am an aesthetician myself, and I could never in my life imagine doing someone like that. To put the cherry on top when I get out of the appointment, the woman that was behind me was a few minutes late so she could have worked on me until the woman got there, but didn't. I never knew in my life that taking two minutes out of your day just to keep someone happy would be so harmful to your world!!! Honestly, a true spit in the face! As if everything else in the world isn't high as hell and she does some bs like this! ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE.

Cameron greeted me with a warm smile as if we had been friends before & was very tentative with what I wanted. Cameron was very nice & made sure I was fully satisfied & happy with my new haircut & also provided me with information on how to style it & care for it. The other receptionist which I wish I got her name but she had red hair was also very informative & nice. Cameron & both receptionist gave me great information & even asked to book another appointment to maintain my new haircut. Needless to say I think I have found a new salon & I will be returning . I highly recommend this place as all staff were very nice. I want to thank Cameron, the red haired receptionist, & all the staff at the salon, thank ya'll sooo much for the wonderful experience!

I noticed the check in sign so I checked in on the IPad and sat down. After a few minutes, one of the employees asked me if I checked in. I responded that I had, and that I had an appointment for a lamination and tint. She said okay. They asked me to have a seat in the chair. I asked the employee if I could get eyebrows shaped by waxing instead of threading. She said it was fine. She then said "I'm going to wax first and then do the lamination". I thought that was weird because every other time I've had a lamination, the solution goes on first and the shaping is usually after. She proceeds to put the lamination solution on and brushing the brow hairs. I have no issues with the process at this point but it's the opposite of what she said she was going to do. To clarify, my eyebrows are lightened with bleach to be a brownish color, so I asked for brown tint not black. The employee didn't seem to understand my request.. She ends up showing me the color she's going to use and says it "medium brown". I said okay with confidence and felt better about the situation. my brows are soft black, dark and don't match my hair. The shape is very nice I will say I enjoy the shaping. The process was painless and took right under an hour. Had they used the right color tint I would be so much happier. Hope this review helps someone out.
