Derrick personally came out to my home and fixed my tub and cleared up the scale. My wife called Spa express as a surprise for me to have our hot tub serviced and cleaned (which I do myself normally) spa express came out and did there thing. When I came home I was surprised that they didn't clean the tub during there service I was slightly disappointed but moving forward .. the next day scale started growing at a accelerated rate. I called them and followed up with an email. Allen answered my email and said he would talk with his boss. No response. I called again 3 months ago and they said they would follow up ... no response. I called again and went over the problem we are having for the third time since the day they serviced our spa. At this point I was told to drain the pool and start scrubbing the scale. If you want a sub par job, poor communication, and a group that doesn't want to make sure their customers are taken care of and satisfied this is your spot.

I texted Seth and he said he does not all employees know how to adjust it and they all do a different job and not all have experience that is all in text. Then how are they going to keep my salt water adjusted properly. They do not send someone else to do it. Also there communication is terrible I texted Seth on few issues like some repair and replace a pump. Did not answer me till a few days after and said that he is sorry and but he is to busy and was not able to get to me. The future with this company would have been a disaster no experience for the employee with machines and equipment and bad communications. Also after two weeks not happy with service Seth says he is sticking me with the one year contract and trying to force me with 1800.00 dollars. Do not sign contract because they can give you terrible service and try to stick you with contract. He threatened me with the lawyer of suing me instead of trying to make matters better. He took a pic of the pool from outside the pool area and sent me an email with the pic, all services he supposedly performed and pool readings all without entering the pool area. I called Frank to let him know his technician lied about the services performed. He responded saying he was aware and the technician didn't service the pool because he thought the dog was in the yard and planned on returning the following day. If that were true why send me an email stating all the services he performed, including adding chemicals, along with false pool readings instead of sending an email saying he would return the next day because he was unable to service the pool. Better yet knock on the door and save a trip. My dog wasn't even in the yard. I cancelled the service since Frank just made excuses for his employee. Frank did apologize and came himself to service my pool the following day instead of his employee. I wasn't going to write a review until I received yet another bill for service 3 months after cancelling. Sent an email telling them to stop since they are not servicing my pool. Didn't work. Another reason for cancellation is my pool walls were turning greener week after week. I had to point this out when it should have been noticed by the technician servicing my pool weekly and taken care of. I also had black algae forming along the walls and steps. I only know of this one time that service was not performed and lied about doing it. The condition of the pool makes me wonder if this was not the first time. The leak was buried deep inside the foam, and he spent considerable time tracking it down. As he worked, it became apparent the leak had been going on for quite a while, and the wood framing was completely rotted out. Niko gave me a great deal on a Viking Apex 2 floor model. Just a few days later, he and his crew came out to Healdsburg, installed the new spa, and hauled away the old one. What really impressed me was his follow-through. Niko came back out twice more to help me with two issues. He didn't charge me for the initial visit to investigate the old spa's leak or for either of those follow-up visits. I finally started searching locally and saw a bunch of great reviews for Magic Wand Spa Repair, so I decided to reach out. I called on a Saturday and actually reached Touissant directly, who was hosting his daughter's birthday party. He really didn't have to answer, but he still did, listened to the issue, talked through what he thought might be going on, and promised to follow up on Monday. Which he totally did, and then came out the very next day. Once he was here, he diagnosed the problem right away, showed up with the part he suspected we would need, and fixed everything while explaining what he was doing. His rates were clear and reasonable, and the tub has been perfect ever since. Touissant knows his stuff, he is dependable and incredibly responsive, and he is just a genuinely hard-working, good person who cares about his customers.
