The pool cleaning lady came out and did not even have experience with the equipment, cleaning person told me that my salt balance is off and asked her to are you going to adjust the the machine and she said that she does not know how to work it. I texted Seth and he said he does not all employees know how to adjust it and they all do a different job and not all have experience that is all in text. Then how are they going to keep my salt water adjusted properly. They do not send someone else to do it. Also there communication is terrible I texted Seth on few issues like some repair and replace a pump. Did not answer me till a few days after and said that he is sorry and but he is to busy and was not able to get to me. The future with this company would have been a disaster no experience for the employee with machines and equipment and bad communications. Also after two weeks not happy with service Seth says he is sticking me with the one year contract and trying to force me with 1800.00 dollars. Do not sign contract because they can give you terrible service and try to stick you with contract. He threatened me with the lawyer of suing me instead of trying to make matters better. He took a pic of the pool from outside the pool area and sent me an email with the pic, all services he supposedly performed and pool readings all without entering the pool area. I called Frank to let him know his technician lied about the services performed. He responded saying he was aware and the technician didn't service the pool because he thought the dog was in the yard and planned on returning the following day. If that were true why send me an email stating all the services he performed, including adding chemicals, along with false pool readings instead of sending an email saying he would return the next day because he was unable to service the pool. Better yet knock on the door and save a trip. My dog wasn't even in the yard. I cancelled the service since Frank just made excuses for his employee. Frank did apologize and came himself to service my pool the following day instead of his employee. I wasn't going to write a review until I received yet another bill for service 3 months after cancelling. Sent an email telling them to stop since they are not servicing my pool. Didn't work. Another reason for cancellation is my pool walls were turning greener week after week. I had to point this out when it should have been noticed by the technician servicing my pool weekly and taken care of. I also had black algae forming along the walls and steps. I only know of this one time that service was not performed and lied about doing it. The condition of the pool makes me wonder if this was not the first time. I called on a Saturday and actually reached Touissant directly, who was hosting his daughter's birthday party. He really didn't have to answer, but he still did, listened to the issue, talked through what he thought might be going on, and promised to follow up on Monday. Which he totally did, and then came out the very next day. Once he was here, he diagnosed the problem right away, showed up with the part he suspected we would need, and fixed everything while explaining what he was doing. His rates were clear and reasonable, and the tub has been perfect ever since. Touissant knows his stuff, he is dependable and incredibly responsive, and he is just a genuinely hard-working, good person who cares about his customers. The leak was buried deep inside the foam, and he spent considerable time tracking it down. As he worked, it became apparent the leak had been going on for quite a while, and the wood framing was completely rotted out. Niko gave me a great deal on a Viking Apex 2 floor model. Just a few days later, he and his crew came out to Healdsburg, installed the new spa, and hauled away the old one. What really impressed me was his follow-through. Niko came back out twice more to help me with two issues. He didn't charge me for the initial visit to investigate the old spa's leak or for either of those follow-up visits. I really appreciated the time and effort he put into taking care of me. This guy is solid... knowledgeable, fair, and someone who stands behind his work. When she passed away in November, his office and I had been in contact with each other both in Marin and over the phone when I was home in Los Angeles. When my mom's credit cards got cancelled after her passing, I didn't realize he had stopped getting paid. Even though he had my mom's phone number, mine, and my boyfriend's, no one called to tell me I owed them money. Instead, they continued to send bills to her empty house and then cancelled the service in January. He knew she was sick, that I was the one paying the bills, and that I didn't live in her house or in the area. I was unaware of all of this, and had assumed they were still get automatic payments. When I arrived back in Marin mid January to take care of her affairs, I realized that not only had they stopped coming, but that the pool sweep was also missing. I immediately called and was told that they took the pool sweep because it was "broken". What was wrong with it? No one could really explain. Did they remove it to fix it and bring it back? Doubtful since they hadn't been paid for two months. Why would they fix the sweep if they weren't paid for service? Obviously they had taken the pool sweep to reimburse themselves for those two months. Pretty sure that's illegal - to remove someone's property from their house. It's called stealing. I insisted Fredy give back my pool sweep - obviously I was going to pay him once I found out they were owed. I would have done so if they had made any effort in contacting me. I had to wait an additional two weeks for him to bring it to me - I tried to call them during that time to arrange me picking it up, but no one answered the phone or called me back. Fredy himself came to the house to hand deliver it. Funny to me that he didn't even know how much I owed him. I had to tell him! Lucky for him I'm honest. He said the problem with the sweep was that the wheels were wobbly. Totally bullshit. Horrible customer service. Absolutely no follow through. Cheaper than other places I have called to replace him, but obviously, you get what you pay for. Avoid. Responding to Fredy's response. I had my mom's phone live until January. I received no messages on her phone. If anyone called, no one left a message. Granted, my mom had her phone through November and she wasn't in any position to answer it, but I checked it daily then, and also after she passed. Not sure what number you used but it wasn't hers. I can't come up with any other reason the pool sweep would have been taken if no one was paying. Or why it wasn't returned the day you guys stopped coming. Unless you were planning on keeping it.
