So I'm very picky about my nails, and I've been coming here for a year since I moved from NY and couldn't be happier. If you ever have an issue they will accommodate you, everyone is polite and courteous. I refuse to go anywhere else because the quality is very high.
I'd also like to take a moment to discuss a review below labeled 'They Called the Police on me' I was actually there when this incident occurred and her review is entirely fabricated. First of all the woman was incredibly rude. She essentially did not request the service she claimed to request (I was near you Andrea) and she also just couldn't stop ranting about the cost. If you can't afford a pedicure don't get one. After she found out certain polishes cost more (like they do at every salon) she flipped a lid. It was so embarrassing to watch... embarrassing for her. She stated she wasn't willing to pay for the service received. She THEN began yelling about how her husband is a police officer and if they wanted to make her pay then they would need to call the police, so they did. Unfortunately the officer who came presented himself as bias. I was completely disappointed in how it was handled. I come from a law enforcement family particularly a well regarded NYPD one and the bias behavior I saw made me so disappointed in the local PD. When someone calls the police it is expected that the officer speak to the person making the complaint first but this officer spoke to Andrea first. Apparently the officer didn't regard her refusal to pay as theft of services which is exactly what it was. Mind you contrary to what she wrote at NO POINT did she offer to pay she told them to take her to court. Also no one yelled at her she was the only one her raised her voice. I feel bad Maryland can't afford to pay their officers enough to pay for a 45 min pedicure, it was definitely more than soaking your feet- it was a full pedicure which is more than a polish. The police officer did not say Andrea wasn't liable contrary to what she says unless he had that conversation with her alone which also proves a possibility of bias behavior. Failing to mention her relationship with the PD in her review says volumes about her. After speaking to my father I regret not getting the badge number of the officer and the name of the woman so I could find out her husbands name. I regret not informing the manager to call for another police department as this PD had a conflict of interest. I also feel terrible to know I live in an area where there might be integrity issues. Everyone customer in the shop that day sided with the staff. Her review is slanderous. So besides stealing from them and possibly using her husband's badge as a way out of a bill, the reviewer decided to make false statements. Anyone who feels the need to discuss this is welcome to contact me. My family works insanely hard to be good cops, we never take advantage, we never try to get out of tickets or name drop. I wish I recorded your behavior but it's probably best I didn't because police are getting a bad rap today for the actions of a few and I would never do my family the disservice at making their brothers look poorly with a viral video because I respect my family, I respect their careers and I respect their integrity. If I ever see that officer I plan to get his information to file a complaint. I am completely appalled by the behavior I witnessed by people who claim to be respectable. Respectful people pay their bills. Like I said if you're hard on cash don't get a pedicure. And it's also a FALSE statement to say the police go there all the time which is a complete lie and a simple request by a lawyer to view any complaints would prove that. I am glad that reviewer won't be returning because I never want to be seen at the same establishment as that woman. read more
