My husband and I both had pedicures at Luxury Nails 2 weeks ago. I also had my fingers painted. We booked ahead of time by making an appointment online. We didn't care who we booked with but it made us pick someone, who we didn't even receive that day. We both chose the classic pedicure and it was probably the lowest quality I've ever received. Before Covid, I had really great experiences with this nail salon and decided to go back for a birthday manicure last week. I usual get a neutral SNS and I like the color selection. Tina used a piece of a magazine to paint my nails on instead of a hand towel. I thought it was weird, but fine. Then, when taking off my old SNS, she used the electric file to take the color off. She cut too close and hard on my nail beds and I kept saying "ouch." She did this so many times my nails bled. 6/10 of my nail beds were bleeding when I left. She apologized and took $5 off my bill. I had some good experiences here, but overall I would be very careful of the cleanliness, professionalism, and attention to detail here. I tried this place twice and both times it was disappointing. The first time, the tech (who was not the tech I made an appointment with) removed my old gel polish with his finger nail instead of a tool. This didn't seem the most hygienic practice. My previous gel had been black and he did an awful job removing it, so it showed through on the next color. The second time another tech (again not who I made an appointment with) did the sloppiest job I have ever seen, didn't cover my nails with gel, but did get it all over my hands. When trying to remove the gel from my hands with his own nails, he made my fingers bleed. The second manicure was chipping within two days. The atmosphere is nice, and I'm sure they have good techs, I just didn't get one. read more

Unfortunately now I have second degree burns on my face from my eyebrow wax. I went into the nail salon to get a manicure. I'm a guy, so it's a quick and easy process of trimming, filing, and buffing. My nails were trimmed and filed unevenly. I yawned two times while I was in the salon. The nail technician proceeded to say I had no manners and needed to cover my mouth in Vietnamese. Crazy because I can't use either hands when getting a manicure. Oh, and I'm Vietnamese! Lo and behold, they say watch what you're saying, I think he's Vietnamese. I've been here 4 times and 2 out of the 4 they have talked rudely about me in Vietnamese. I don't recommend wasting your time here. Prices are stupidly expensive to have someone talk crap about you in another language and a poor job. Lina or whatever your name is, you need to learn some manners. I wanted to try this nail salon because I was recommended by friends and colleagues, especially for their complementary drinks. Once you walked in, you already felt relaxed; however, I only gave this place one star because of the painted sky on their ceiling. In terms of nails, I was extremely content walking out of the nail salon. BUT only after TWO days, the top coat was already chipping away (first picture). I went back to the nail salon to have it fixed, and they fixed it right away. A couple HOURS later that day, I gave the slightest pressure to close my car door and my nail BROKE (second picture). I am extremely disappointed because I paid $50, plus tip, which is NOT the worth of these nails. I personally would rather be sitting uncomfortable at a different nail salon with better quality nails than be pampered with mimosas but with nails that can't even last a couple days. 10/10 do not recommended! I got gel nail polish and it last 2 days before it started chipping. I went in again a few days later thinking it may have been the person and again the polish chipped after two days. I came in today to get it taken off and explained what happened and 4 different people worked on taking off the polish because "they had customers". Not only that but then I go to check out and they charged me $10. Im not one to ask for free things but I spent $165 plus tip in a 10 day span for the nails not to last two days. I decided to give Luxury Nails another try since they are one of the few salons that has a children's pedi chair, but that was a mistake. My daughter's pedi was about 5 minutes long. Instead of painting her nails at the chair, the tech took her to a nail station, so we were apart for the majority of the visit. In fact, she spent most of her time alone at the drying station. I got a gel polish manicure. Three of the nails didn't cure properly under the lamp, and when I pointed it out, my tech simply wiped that layer off with a tissue and painted a new coat. There was an air bubble on my right thumb that I didn't notice I got home. It has since peeled off, so I have an area of missing polish. There was also polish smeared on my skin from the wipe-off that was not cleaned up. The polish my daughter's nails is already peeling off (day after). The staff was really friendly, but after paying $80 plus tip, I'm calling it quits. I'm planning to go back tomorrow to ask them to fix my thumbnail as they're closed on Sundays. read more

This is THEE worst pedicure I've ever received in my life. I bought the deluxe pedicure because it ensured an extended hot towel massage and foot rub - what a waste of money! This was thee worst experience I've ever had receiving a pedicure. The water was luke warm, the towels went cold when they touched my legs. The woman doing my pedicure half assed the massage! She was gnawing at my calf and foot aggressively with her fingers rather than a 'massage' - very poor training. She stopped in the middle of massage to watch the movie playing on the screen behind us - UNPROFESSIONAL. It's been 5 days and THREE of my toes have already chipped. Recently tried out Luxury Nails & Spa. At first, it seemed promising with the accommodating service. However, if you want nails that will last DO NOT GO HERE!! They are either trying to save time or product, or both! My nails were poorly shaped and did not have polish on some of the edges (sides and tips of my nails). I got a dip powder manicure, and after one day it chipped. I will not be back to this nail salon & I recommend everyone AVOID THIS PLACE! I've been coming to this nail salon on and off for about two years now, and it's been hard for me to give a review until now because of the broad range in service quality. On their better days when you get someone like Dee to do your nails, you leave with no complaints. But even though I would book appointments with him, I would often be seated with someone else who would do a horrible job. People like to come here for the complimentary drinks, but the man who is in charge of the bar constantly passes over me. He rarely even offered and when I would ask him he would forget. I'm not sure if this is a race issue or not. I always get a gel pedicure and dip manicure. I've had technicians in the salon argue with me about the color I selected, had broken nails two days after service and was charged to have them fixed even though it was a quality issue. I've had top coats completely peel off my gel nails a day after. I've left with nails that were shaped completely different and not even close to the coffin style I requested. And if you're wondering why I kept coming after such bad service: 1. Location. Because of work it was hard to get to another salon. 2. Ambiance. Because the salon is so nice, it's really misleading. You see a beautiful salon and think you'll get the same service, which is just not the case. 3. Dee. I loved him as a tech, but because there is no organization at the front desk with check in, I wasn't able to sit with him anymore. It really stopped being worth the headache. Especially for the price. This salon is not cheap by any standard. I now go to Classy Nails and consistently see Tong. I make an appointment and even the times where I don't, they do their best to let me sit with him. An older guy there did my dip nails and It was hands down the worst manicure and dip I've ever gotten. I always ask for Cindy when I go. She's great! She's very creative, and attentive. She knows my style and what looks good on my fingers and makes suggestions accordingly. She's amazing! The team is really nice. The facility is clean. They practice according to covid and wear masks and have plexi glass. The price is a little on the expensive side, but the quality matches the price in my opinion. They offer eyebrow and lash services. I NEVER* give one-star reviews but I just had a HORRIBLE experience at Luxury Nails & Spa (read ahead if you are kind-hearted) I walk in and go to the pedicure area, and a tall man with long hair is practically yelling at an employee saying "I'm not asking you, i'm telling you XYZ" and walked away agressively. I initially ignored it, thinking it was just a one-time thing and he was having a bad day. After my pedicure, I walk to the manicure station and the same man is standing behind my chair yelling and being rude to a different employee. He was demeaning her and it made me very upset and not able to relax. Having enough I turned around and said "Would you please stop yelling?" He was SHOCKED that I stood up to him and then proceeded to become aggressive and antagonize ME for stepping in. He talked to me as if I was a child, no thank you. The salon turned into an uproar with everyone jumping in giving their opinion and I decided to get up and leave. It was so difficult leaving as they wanted me to continue getting my manicure but my stomach did not sit right. When I told them what happened there was so much confusion (language barrier) and the man came back, looking *surprised* and walked away like a dumbass frat boy when the party runs dry. I have NEVER had such a horrible experience at a salon. The salon itself is nice, but I will not be returning. It's truly disappointing. I've been going to Luxury Nails Spa for many years, and many employees recognize me each time I walked in. I did not expect to be barked at by some over-assertive, power hungry male employee. I'm glad I spoke up, and I'm glad I'm writing this review. If you are a customer or employee at Luxury Nail Spa and you are unhappy with how you are being treated. Say something. The next day, my toes were already chipping. I had acrylics and they were made very poorly (very thick, not all same length etc) and did not look good, especially for the price I paid. The next day, (on my birthday) I went to complain about the quality and ask why I was charged what I was charged, since looking at the service prices, a mani-pedi should be a maximum of $60. The staff was extremely rude and yelled at me and completely solidified my opinion that Lux nails is not a good place. We took a while to get seen as a walk in, but they took my friend immediately for a pedi. Free beverages (including wine and cocktails) are included so I got a Chardonnay while I waited. The polish selection is slim for regular polish, but they had a lot of OPI. When we finally got seen for a mani, they pushed the gel (to both of us and we said no). Mani was overall fine except I wish she would've pushed my cuticles back and taken more time to file and shape. Also my nails felt dry because she only moisturized my arms not my hands. They cannot take off acrylic nails. It took them 2 hours to remove the acrylics I had on and they destroyed my bails in the process. They didn't even have tin foil so I had to soak my nails in a bowl of alcohol. I had over 3 technicians standing around me trying to get them off. I had basic acrylic nails on. I come here often to get a acrylic fill in and pedicure. Today I came in for an acrylic soak off and a regular manicure. Constantly repeating myself to the technician that I want the acrylic completed soaked off I am told that their is no acrylic on my nail in which I see. She proceeds with my manicure and I go up to pay. I tell the receptionist that my nails still have acrylic on them and I am not satisfied she assures me that my nails are acrylic free. I go to my car and peel off the acrylic to go back inside to show them. Long story short I get my nails cut off never getting the resoak that should have taken place or a discount to my service.
