When we asked for a refund they ignored us and ignored the request, when we asked to speak with a manager she said it's her money and we don't need to talk to the manager. I honestly regret spending my money at Luxury Nail Bar. For the price they charge, the quality of service was unacceptable. Multiple toenails were poorly painted with noticeable spots completely missed, and I was cut in several places during the pedicure. My nails are still sore afterward, which should never happen from a basic pedicure. The callus removal was also done very poorly and felt rushed the entire time. Nothing about this experience felt luxurious besides the price tag. I left disappointed, uncomfortable, and feeling like I wasted my money. The worst nail salon experience I've ever had. I requested an acrylic nail removal and as you can see, the acrylic wasn't fully removed. This was also a painful experience. The nail tech cut under my nail in the midst of trying to remove the acrylic from my thumb nail. I don't wish this experience or pain on anyone so please go elsewhere. At the end of the "removal" the nail tech giggled and said "all done, no more pain"... extremely unprofessional. This horrible process costed me $15 and it wasn't even done correctly. read more

I was horrified on my last visit to Luxury Nail Bar. There was nothing luxury about my experience. I used to live in Happy Valley from 2016-2019, and back then this was my favorite place to get my nails done. I'm not sure what happened between then and now, but holy MOLEY have things changed! I made an appointment to get a full set of dip nails. Although I had made an appointment, I still had to wait almost 20 minutes to be seen. When my service started, I was given a drink, but I was not able to enjoy it because there were so many gnats in the room and they flocked to my beverage (YUCK.) It was disgustingly dirty inside, definitely not a relaxing environment. I feel like I'm a fairly low-maintenance client, but the woman doing my nails seemed very annoyed to be helping me. I never asked for a new drink or a cleaner nail file (although, I wish I would have.) She seemed inconvenienced anyway. At one point, she offered me a chrome powder add on that was $15 more. I asked if they had a specific color. They did not, so I politely declined the extra add on. She then aggressively grabbed my hand and started applying a different color that I said I did not want. I wish I would have got up and left, but I was in such disbelief that I just said "no, that's okay, I don't need the chrome." but she grabbed and pulled my hand aggressively and continued applying anyway. At the end, I was charged for the extra service that I did not want and I hated my nails, but I didn't speak up because I was afraid of being treated even worse. There was no apology about how rough the employee was with me or my drink being infested with bugs. On top of that, I was overcharged for nails I didn't even like! The real cherry on top was, as I went to pull out my card, the employee ringing me up hounded me about how much I wanted to tip. I ALWAYS leave 20% or more but I was considering leaving less because of how bad my experience was. I said I'd write the amount on the receipt but she said she needed me to say the amount out loud. I stammered a little bit and said "um $5?" and she scoffed and mumbled something under her breath. I wish I wouldn't have tipped at all... I am in total disbelief at how bad my service was. I wouldn't come back here if it were the last salon on Earth. If you're reading this, I recommend taking a trip to Dahlia Nail Spa in West Linn instead. It's my new favorite spot and I can confidently say NONE of this would have ever happened at Dahlia. read more

The staff were very friendly, but the service was rushed, the massage was half-assed, and my nail tech ran out of the spa as soon as I paid. I had to have the receptionist repaint my toenails because my tech rushed through and the color was missing in spots. I understand it was the end of the day (7 pm when they close at 8), but I found it unprofessional the way my tech ran out as soon as she could without checking that the job was well done. Additionally, my friend that was with me was having her fingernails filled and her tech ripped the remaining acrylic off her finger and made her bleed, leaving a hole in her nail bed! The tech wasn't even sincerely apologetic or trying to compensate her for the injury she caused, she just moved right along and again, rushed out of the spa as soon as she was done. I loved coming here! Recently, their service has gone down significantly. My service is so inconsistent. Sometimes my nails are great and sometimes they're not. The last two times I've gone, my cuticles haven't been clipped or pushed back and I haven't received the lotion at the end either. I also haven't received drinks recently, but I see everyone else with them?? The last time I went, I received acrylics and they are horrible. I asked for round and they are very square. I even asked for them to be reshaped and I was ignored. Polish also doesn't cover my whole nail, and the acrylics are lifting only 2 days later. My appointments are never honored- they always take too many walk ins. They also sometimes will not write down appointments and say we didn't have one. It's really frustrating. read more

I went there this morning to have my polish removed from my fingers. Mind you most of it was off. they finished taking it off and I hand her my debit card. She says do you have cash and I said no and then another employer yells out well there is a $10 minimum on a card.I said then charge my card $10. Now there are no signs anywhere stating that you can't pay cash and that there's a $10 minimum on your credit card. I told them they probably had to put a sign out letting people now that there's a $10 minimum charge on your credit card. I have nothing but good things to say about my Nail Tech Hannah! First off Hannah is amazing takes her time, and I promise she will remember you. She does my pedi and mani, since I've been coming here I have no longer had issues with ingrown nails. I can't speak for other techs here but make a request for Hannah. I went in for a pedicure and while I was waiting a lady gave me the colors to look at. When I sat down I showed her which one I wanted, it was just a sparkly color I thought looked fun. She told me putting white on first would make it so the color would be seen better and I said okay. She did not end up using the color I picked, she did not ask to double check it was the correct one. I looked the color up online later and it does not show it even needs white under, it looks very pretty just by itself. Highly disappointed I didn't just say I want just the color itself without the white. When I realized it wasn't the correct color it was too late and she had already put the Uv light on. I had somewhere I needed to be right after I was done. She did a great job my on the pedicure itself but extremely disappointed the color isn't the one I wanted. read more

I would rate this place a ZERO if I could but I am only able to give this place a 1 star rating. I got my nails done on Friday (shellac) however the very next day it was already chipped. I came back on Monday to get it fixed again however the very next day it was CHIPPED AGAIN. To begin with the service was not great and the nail person who worked on me did not make me feel welcomed. When I came back again the second time around they treated my hands very rough and rudely. Telling me that it was my fault that it has happened to me and complained about it the WHOLE service. Note that I have gotten my nails done before plenty of times and something like this has never happened to me before especially after getting it fixed but it was the attitude and behavior that appalled me the most. I'd like to start off by saying I'm not one to leave bad reviews, or any reviews at all. I usually let things slide. But I have given this place a chance multiple times. Usually the work is okay, not terrible. But this time I couldn't even look at my nails. I had to go to another place that same day to get them completely redone. I gave her a inspiration picture, and tried to be very sweet and guided her each step of the way to exactly how I wanted them. Not only did she argue with me about certain details, but she also told me I was wrong or there were mistakes because I was "moving too much." Attached are the pictures of her work. I also attached a picture of once I got them redone with someone else. And for half the price. The very last picture will be a picture of the inspiration that was given to her. The difference is outrageous. I have recommended this place to people before, but I retract my previous opinions. When it comes to nail design and customer service, this is not your place. If I could give them 0 stars I would. I went here to get a Gel Acrylic Fill and a Gel Deluxe Pedicure. First off, my total was $123. Which to me seemed very expensive considering normally a FILL is about $30-$50. Not only that, but the shape of my nails were square before I came in here, and they are now a "bubble shape" and the polish was applied very poorly. I didn't question this price though because I figured she was going to shape them again after they were painted. I was wrong. Along with also being cut, multiple times. My pedicure on the other hand was great, other than have a blister on my toe and the nail technician being kinda rough with drying my feet and rubbing it roughly. I included my nails before (pink french tips) and the ones I got today (sparkly white). I will be calling and asking for a refund. read more

I wanted to like this place. I tried it after I stopped going to another local place that admonishes clients for paying with card. I've gone twice. Both appointments were booked online. I went in Saturday for a repair to one nail. I have dip powder on my nails. After a few minutes of back and forth, showing my receipt, being asked which station I sat at during my original appointment- someone "repaired" my mail. The color doesn't match. HORRIBLE!!!!!!! My sister and I made appointments for mani pedi's about 5 days prior to our actual appointment. When we got there, there were 8 other people waiting, 4 of them told us they had the same appointment time as us. We waited 20 minutes past our appointment time before we were seated and another 20 minutes before our nail technicians even started. One of the other customers even left because she had been waiting over 30 minutes past her appointment time. This salon did not appear to be following any of the new covid guidelines or any social distancing protocols. All of the pedicure stations were filled and majority of the manicure stations. I am pretty sure salons are now required to keep a customer log book for contact tracing, but there was no log book in sight. We then proceeded with what was the worst mani pedi we have ever gotten in our lives. We have been coming to this salon for years, so we recognized one of the nails techs working on us as a regular employee, the other nail tech was someone we had never seen before. Both pedicures were very rushed, the nail techs did not take the time they usually do to cut our cuticles and remove dead skin. My nail tech painted onto my cuticles and I had to re-file my toes when I got home. My sister's was worse! Her nail tech didn't even get polish over the whole nail and it was very uneven along the cuticles. The shellac on her finger nails started lifting after only a few days, and the nail tech was in such a rush to get to the next customer, she didn't even get a massage on her hands. We were then told once they were done, that they only accepted cash, which has never been the case before. We were very disappointed with the services we received and felt like the owners were being greedy by overbooking appts. I am sympathetic to the fact that businesses have been closed for months due to the pandemic, and that people need to make a living, however, it needs to be done in a safe manner for the customers, as well as the employees. I certainly hope that they start adhering to the new Covid guidelines because if an inspector came, I am certain that they would be shut down and fined. I am hesitant to return to this salon after such a bad experience. If I knew we would be paying for this quality of work, I would have just stayed home and done it myself! This is our family's favorite place for mani/pedis! We all have large feet, (my husband wears a size 17 shoe!) and all of the workers take such great care of us!
