I've used A & L in the past, as long as 30 years ago. Unfortunately this time around, it seems…read morethey've fallen to the status quo of most company's these day of terrible customer service. After placing a very simple order, I received nothing for a week as far as timeline or even a quote. I called back with a very clear & detailed description of what I needed a second time, again, nothin back whatsoever after a week (knowing this was for a wedding coming up). after calling back, thinking it may be ready for pick-up, they again had no idea what the details were of my order, so frustrated, I gave up. On top of that, when I told her we had already gone through the detentions and order details twice already, she chewed me out as if I was being difficult with her because she was the only one doing everything!! Not my problem and not deserving of being talked to like that

I've been chairing a Christmas Tree Lot fundraiser for my children's elementary school the last…read morecouple years and have had occasion to work with A&L on a few tent purchases. The most unique product they've helped us with was a custom modification to their 20x40 tent roof truss layout that allowed us to incorporate a new roof truss along one side of the tent. This allows us to eliminate one leg pole and have a 20-ft wide opening rather than just a 10-ft opening. This was particularly helpful as it lets us easily move Christmas trees in and out of that section of the tent for cutting and installing stands. On our most recent order of a replacement 20x40 tent top, they even went so far as to make special modifications of the tent top to allow it to work well with our truss modification and an adjoining tent without us even asking, or really even realizing this would be useful. Talk about thoughtful service! Not only have A&L been extremely helpful, accommodating and timely on servicing our requests, but they've also been very considerate with their pricing knowing that we are operating as a school fundraiser. I'll continue to use A&L whenever possible and don't hesitate to give them my highest recommendation.

Before you know it, my fiance and I are driving to Oakdale to view the Almond Pavillion. We were met on time by the lovely Faviola. She gave us a tour of the beautiful building and was just an overall great host. She was very clear about her terms and actually seemed genuinely excited to help me plan my wedding. It was fun to work with someone who was just as eager to plan She always replied to my questions and was so easy going about all the changes I wanted to make (the endless changes because who really knows what they want?!) Unfortunately due to Covid, we decided to cancel our wedding. The deposit is traditionally non-refundable but Faviola did the unexpected, regardless of the contract, she did the noble did thing by giving us our deposit back when she didn't have to. Not only that, but we had some trouble getting the check in the mail and once we reached out to her about it, she was quick to correct the mistake Imagine that! Faviola you have some good karma coming your way girl! Thank you for working with us, I will always refer you out to whomever I can God bless!

(We sent them this exact message as well) "Here is a list of what happened yesterday that made our day incredibly difficult for unnecessary reasons: -arrival was supposed to be 7am, you arrived after 9. -you left during setup and returned with brand new tents that you did not know how to setup -our entire wedding party spent time helping you build the tents instead of enjoying the weeding moments. They actually had to be excused from their professional photos because they were instead helping build tents. -you asked US for sand bags. We clearly would not have that. That is something you should have had -none of the tents were secured. With the known weather, that proved to be incredibly dangerous. -multiple guests during the ceremony had to hang onto tents because they were flying away. - the lights were not set up properly. It was clear you didn't know how to do it. Our event location coordinator had to go back into the tents and re string every single one. -our event coordinator saves the night by getting sandbags he luckily had in his shed and we had to set them up and zip tie them to all the tent poles. -MOST IMPORTANTLY, it was not done on time. I cannot tell you the horrible position this put us on on our wedding day. We had to literally throw table setups together 5 min before the ceremony instead of enjoying this special wedding moment. I cannot stress enough that this was the part that should have never happened. If they had been done in time, with proper setup BY YOUR TEAM, then everything would have been done as agreed upon. But that did not happen." We attempted to come to an agreement with them in which they refused and made false claims. We have photo proof of everything we stated as well as over 150 guests that witnessed this and a handful of amazing vendors that had to step up due to valley premium rentals shortcomings.
