I requested a royal luxe manicure and pedicure with gel and art. What they did was very simple and needs a lot of improvement. Nothing like the pictures I showed them. They put some cheap looking stickers on my nails that were already peeling off when I was there. They supposedly fixed it, but still peeled a bit in the corners. It's been a week and they've already peeled off . The french tips lines are crooked . They charged me the same as if they actually did the art manually when it was just some cheap ass stickers. They charged so much for such bad quality. And i was told the stickers would "last a long time".... Liars. Never coming back again. read more

The employee a "She" started taking off my gel French tip manicure and she said it would be $37 total for the exact same thing -French tip and gel manicure. Why lie? Emily took my appt over the phone and is super nice! *Walk-In's are also welcome! I just like making appts I decided to get the Acrylic full set, no gel and it's $25. Liu (sorry if I misspelled it) did my Acrylics in a really great time! Her process is clean and is friendly too! For my pedicure, I decided to do the D'Luxe Pedicure. It's the best $35 I've ever spent! Cindy did my pedicure and this includes paraffin wrap, hot stone massage and a foot scrub! I decided to add on a callous remover because it was time. Haha Overall, here are my ratings- *Cleanliness- 5 out of 5 All the tools are sterilized 2-3 times and the scrubbers they use are new every time. *Ambiance- 5 out of 5 Plenty of space, the pedicure station has massaging pillows and outlets near your arm rest, etc... *Staff- 5 out of 5 Everyone is very friendly and there isn't any uncomfortable chatter that you might hear at other salons. I am not a person that normally complains, the reply from the owner is inaccurate. You can see below from the owner's reply (which I added below) that there is no accountability from the Salon. 1. I had my nails done many times, you need to soak them before trying to remove (soaking was not done) them so hurting customer is not normal. I had my nails done many times and no, it does not hurt. 2. Yes, someone did come to try to fix but at that moment I was uncomfortable and did not want to continue with the manicure. Further, that is a lie, that is not my old nail shape, in fact I asked the technician to fix it twice and the shape kept getting worst. She removed the gel and tried to shape my nails and that's what she did to my nails. So please stop with the misleading and inaccurate information, your technician did that to my nails otherwise I wouldn't post a pic like that. That is what happened at your nail salon. Instead of blaming the customer, maybe take accountability and provide better customer service. I came here yesterday to get a fill for my previous visit, and unfortunately my experience was not as good. They were a bit more busy, so that's why the lady that help me might have felt more rushed. I get my nails done every once in a while, but often enough to know exactly what to expect and what I want. I didn't catch her name, but this woman was very rough and left several of my fingers bleeding. It is the next day and I still feel the soreness on my nails that I've never felt when getting an acrylic set done. When doing my fill, she left the base of my nail very thick with acrylic filing. I could even see minor bumps on my nails after she completed the color, probably air bubbles from applying the nail polish. Also, I noticed especially on my index fingers that the acrylic is uneven so it looks higher on some parts of my finger and lower on others. I really love the color, but other than that I think my nails are way too thick and a bit uneven. It's so disappointing since I had such a wonderful experience the first time with the man who did my nails, it's probably one of the best acrylic sets I've had to be honest. If I come back, I'm going to specifically request him. read more

This a long and overdue review. While I have been going here since it has opened, it seems the owners are starting to get more shady with price and service. Today, my pedicure was a mere OK approval. My left pinky toe - nail is half painted and the big toe has air bubbles. I paid $26 for my pedicure which I think is slightly over priced compared to better shops. Three weeks ago, I got the acrylic manicure - $50 and they did not even clean my nails. In addition, Tina is probably the worse person to get your jails done by. The first time she did my nails, I had the gel and I air bubbles for days and overcoating which caused the polish to easily be removed after 1 week. The acrylic job she did was by far the worse. I asked for short nails and an oval/square shape. She gave me any shape and the nails were not all the same length. Second, she put so much of the glue under my real nails that it caused my hands to swell for literally 24 hours. In addition, she didn't trim my real nails so that was literally sticking out of the fake nail. Don't come here. It's a waste of money and these people could care less about doing great work read more

My review is solely on the basis of the service I received and not on the customer service. My nails are awful. I paid $44 for a fill. I wish I had read the prices correctly. As you can see by my pictures it got a hack Polish job. The nails themselves look average as far as shape. They are very jagged and crooked. She didn't clean up the edges of the polish so it's hard and sharp around. Two nails that broke off she had to do all over and the nail shape is nothing like the rest. The two new nails curve downward rather than look perky and straight. Customer service was ok, she attempted to talk to me but I couldn't really understand because of her accent which I don't mind but also because of the cover they wear to protect themselves from the fumes. So it was a little awkward having to ask her what she said over and over. I always pay for the service whether I like it or not. I hate being "that woman" that argues and tells the nail tech everything that I hate about it. Although I did tell her about the paint job and about the nail shapes but because we couldn't communicate there wasn't much we could do on either side. All in all I wish I had just gone to a nail shop anywhere else where I would've paid HALF of what I paid for, for a better nail fill. read more

I went here to have one nail fixed, the guy in the front chair told me 10 times that I have press on nails that is done with the gel. I explained to him several times that I only have acrylic on my nails. He really did not want to do my nails because I was not getting a full set and I only needed one nail fixed not to mention he was charging me $10 to fix the one nail and I was OK with that. Arrived at the salon after 11 am to get a fill, no one was in there which was perfect. A lady started on my nails by removing my previous gel polish. Then all of a sudden, a male pointed me over to his chair to do my nails? Okay? He was very nice, but I do not like my nails. Told him a couple nails were crooked which he didn't hesitate to fix but a couple nails are thick. Was praying he at least knew how to properly paint nails, which unfortunately, he needs more practice. Uneven coats, and it's obvious where he missed on spots for a top coat. $45 down the drain and I was nice enough to still tip. I think I'll just do a pros and cons review for now Pros: Place is clean and neat Comfortable chairs A nice posh style for pedicure and manicure seating Massages come with pedicures Nice service from front desk gentleman --Further explanation: the gentleman was very kind to help me get the water for my pedi at a nice temperature. the young lady who performed my pedicure was very attentive. We would have engaged in a larger conversation but I was tired and relaxed by her massage. Cons: Overall experience with getting nails done No mood gel colors (cat eyes only) --Further explanation: I don't think I've ever been frustrated, confused and stressed at the same time when getting my nails done. I chose my color (cat eye gel) with the pedi specialist but the mani specialist (Kimberly?) said I couldn't get that one and handed me another ring of colors. We both then settled the confusion and I let that pass. I continued to enjoy my pedicure. The cleaning portion of my mani (while I'm getting my pedi) felt rushed and lacked a sense of gentleness. After my pedi was finished, I walked over to get my nails completed. This process became a bit confusing for me. As I was getting the base coat on for one finger I was told to quickly put it in the dryer as soon as she counted to 3. So, I was doing this dance for a while and, believe me, if I didn't get my finger in fast I would get a "I told you to do it quick" or "listen to me". Haha I've never had to do it this way. Usually I would put in one hand at a time. So, any of you reading this, my mistake if you find this as a part of the usual process. There were moments when I couldn't be relaxed but I guess I wasn't making it easier for her. My hands needed to be relaxed and spread apart. Not saying that this was a challenge but at some moments I couldn't tell what she wanted. Also, her taps felt like small little pushes for me to put my hand in the dryer other than gentle guides. Lastly, there was a tool that was used to create the cat eye effect on my nails. She was supposed to let it stay on one side but she moved it all over the nail causing the effect to be spread all over and miss the distinct look. Only 3 out of 10 nails have that look. Non Deal Breakers: Chairs don't recline A lot of talking from nail specialists Didn't get to soak in the water for a bit for my pedi I'm giving it three because it's a nice spot to go to if you're not looking for bells and whistles. I think if you're getting a solid color then you're good to go. I also congratulate them on opening just a month ago so they have some time to get their feet wet. I'm not sure if I'll come back anytime soon but I'll go back for another go round when I'm just trying to get something quick. read more

i've been here about 3 or 4 times and every time I leave I feel satisfied with my nails. The retention, at least for me is it very long, the first time I got my nails done here they lasted for almost 2 months with no lifting, and they still looked new.. I had to take them off myself because of work related reasons. Had I not, you wouldnt even be able to tell i got them done a couple months before. Everyone is very kind, they listen to what I ask for. Personally, I believe for the sets that I've gotten I've been charged fairly and for the amount of time that the set lasts it's worth it, I'm paying for quality and experience, and they definitely deliver. Whenever I go I'm always sure that I'm going to have a positive experience and know my nails are going to come out looking amazing. Sometimes, they'll even give complimentary goodie bags such as handsanitzers and masks, or more recently that I went I got a massaging lavender lotion :) Overall I will continue to come here and recommend this place 10/10. Let me start by saying I have never left a negative review like this before. I went to this nail salon because I'm going to LA this weekend and I was short on time. I had a gel manicure with two broken nails and figured I'd go in and treat myself to a full set. WORST MISTAKE EVER. I would have rather thrown my $60 out the window, I'm not joking. The technician begins on my nails. I tell her I want a square shape that gets slightly thinner at the end but not a full blown coffin shape. At first the shape looked fine (before the gel is applied). I told the technician helping me that one of the nails is crooked. She said she was not done and it would look better when it's finished. I knew I should have been more persistent that she remove the nail and put a new one before putting the powder on but she was obviously in a rush and I figured she would know best right? She puts the gel on my nails and there's just this burning feeling. I have to shake my hand because it begins to hurt. She didn't cut me or anything. I have honestly never experienced anything like this out of all the times I've gotten a full set. The nails that felt like they were burning were actually warm when you touched them. I asked her to feel how warm the nail was and she asked how often I get a full set. I felt she was trying to imply I wasn't used to the process and that this was normal. When I got home I googled what could cause this random burning or intense heat when she applied the gel. What I found was this burning sensation happens when the gel is too thick. I read some reviews after my visit and several said the nails came off rather quickly, surprisingly the gel being too thick can cause this because it doesn't cure/bond correctly. I am no expert, so be sure to do your own research. Oh and by the way, SHE PUT GLOBS OF GEL ON EACH NAIL. She asked if I liked the shape and I communicated I would like it once the top is buffered out. I figured there is no way she will seriously leave my nails like this. These globs of gel ruined any shape the nails had previously. I feel like I have jelly beans or chiclets on top of my finger tips because of how bulbous my nails are. It was impossible to hide my displeasure in the quality of service. She lets me know it'll be $50. I've paid that much for long coffin shaped nails, I have 0 complaints. However, for what I got... it's just unbelievable to be charged so much in my opinion. I will never come here again no matter how desperate I am. Tomorrow I will be going to a different salon to have them fixed because they are that unsettling. read more

Wanted to update my review. After calling I decided to go into the salon and speak to whoever I had spoken with over the phone. When I arrived the guy greeted my sister and I. Once I mentioned the phone conversation he started saying that it was hard to understand what I was saying over the phone and that I was the one who had hung up on him. After a bit he said he would fix my sisters nails, which they did only for them to fall off the following day. Anyway. Before I left the salon, I asked the guy what I should do in regards to my other sister, he told me I had to remove my review off of Yelp otherwise he would not fix anything. I decided not to bother going back. Who knows what the end result would have been if I had taken my sister back in there.
