Being a petite, short, well-traveled woman THIS is my store to be! I spotted shoes I'd buy in Spain. I spotted leather jacket, colors I don't own, size I wouldn't buy, but hey! It fits me perfectly when it's zip. It's got pockets, and zippers. I needed this jacket! The staff answered my questions, she helped me. But can you believe it? It's XL. That's a FIRST! Do I look like an EXTRA LARGE? I must be. But, this jacket is MINE! When I got home, and research more on the brand: It turned out, I just purchased the largest leather maker in Europe, and they sell other brands and it is the largest in the world! Woo hoo! We're heading there in March, and I couldn't afford to buy it at Neiman Marcus, but I could in Arktana. I also found out, they have another jacket, similar to my new jacket in the style of FLORI. But, this style, that I bought, I like it so much better. I am so glad we stopped there! I asked how long they'd been in business, and the employee said almost 19 years. That is very impressive. The store was roomy and clean, and featured a very large selection. In my case, I got blisters on one of my feet with the socks I'd purchased, and the extremely helpful employee diagnosed the issue as the pair I was returning being too large. Having my doubts, I followed his advice and tried the medium size. He was EXACTLY right! No blisters at all with the medium size! This location is VERY large, despite it looking like it would be small from the parking lot. They have a huge selection of running shoes, socks, insoles, massage guns, massage therapy items, energy gels, sunglasses, sportswear, sports bras, etc. The staff at Fleet Feet is literally unparalleled in their expertise and helpfulness in my experience (I've been to two locations). I'm new to walking (lifelong asthmatic with exercise being one of the biggest triggers), and Fleet Feet's 3D scans of one's feet, analysis of pressure as one walks on a pressure plate, the huge product selection, and vast knowledge of their products made a literal night and day difference in my walking. I can now walk 7 miles at a brisk pace without the almost unbearable leg pain that I experienced in my previous footwear. I NEVER would have expected that a proper pair of shoes with carefully selected insoles and proper socks could make any notable difference at all, let alone a change that LITERALLY enables me to do what I set out to do. Only negative was i was expecting higher discounts. Most shoes seemed to be 10-20% less, which i can often find online, but I do like, and need, the ability to try on live until I know my fit in a particular brand and style. Located at the Cascade strip mall by the airport, it's a convenient location with tons of parking. If you order online they ship free and if you need to return, just bring to the store for no fee.
