I asked how long they'd been in business, and the employee said almost 19 years. That is very impressive. The store was roomy and clean, and featured a very large selection. Parking can be a bit tricky as Foot Traffic is in a very busy strip mall, and parking spaces fill up quickly. You see I missed my flight this morning because of a delay and the airline had to reschedule it all, and comp me a hotel room near this shopping mall. So instead of going home today, I'm stuck next to 20 acres of retail, which thankfully includes bars. Four margaritas in, I'm wandering around again and I see him walking a couple out. Each has the exact same bag that I had, with the same blue box emblazoned with the same brand. They are praising him for his knowledge and thanking him for the $600 they just dropped. This seems to be the case with many stores at the Columbia Gorge Outlets, they are not true outlets with discounted prices. They take the clothes like they're ring out a wet sheet and then wrap it around their hand and stuff it in the bag. Also has anyone else noticed that all the clothes are wrinkled that are hanging up? But do you realize how much work we actually have to do once we get the garments home to get them to look halfway decent!?
