I would not recommend anyone consign with Deja Vu. I first heard about the shop on TikTok and decided to give them a try. I brought in around $100 worth of merchandise, including higher name brands like Micheal Kors, but only ended up receiving about $40 after my consignment period was over. What frustrated me the most was how little I was paid compared to what my items sold for. Their communication was also disappointing. At one point, I was told they were going to pull one of my items, but later I was told it had already sold. For example, my a.n.a skirt originally cost over $30 at Jc Penny. They sold it for $11, but I only received about $2 in compensation. I also consigned a Coach banana makeup bag that originally retailed for over $80 and received very little for it. After seeing what I was paid for several items, I felt the consignment process simply wasn't worth it. While a few of the employees were friendly, I left feeling like I didn't receive fair value for my belongings., I would recommend selling your items yourself online instead of consigning with them. read more

This place is overpriced for what they have and there is not the selection that would be good it's kind of a mess too with everything shoved altogether I left you over there and they held it for over 2 months before pricing it for me. I do not recommend this business it's a great idea but something is lost in the execution. read more

The store literally smells. I leave the store with my hands feeling gritty and gross from shopping. The store is so full, racks can't move because they are so full. The merchandise is thrift store quality at best - holey, stained, old. Like most of the brands are no longer in business (coldwater creek, cache, lane bryant). They keep multiple racks stuffed full of clothes outside, regardless if its raining. I bet that's what's contributing to the mildew smell in the store. Prices are comparable to retail. I've never been greeted, but I can always hear the gaggle of hens gossiping at the back of the store about their colleagues and customers. Come for the show, but leave disappointed - hopefully before you have an asthma attack from the dust, mildew, and animal dander. read more

Everyone is so so sweet whenever I come, asking if I want a dressing room, if they want to hold my stuff while I shop, they're very thorough with their consigning rules. I came to check out a business as a local thrifter, I live in the area and try to support local businesses. But what i don't support is a business that profiles people. I stopped in on a Monday afternoon at 2pm, browsed a short period of time and left to my vehicle, just to turn around and notice a woman peaking through some clothes racks taking a photo of me through the window. I got out of my car and confronted her through the window asking very nicely if she was photographing me, but she pointed in another direction, but I had a hunch that wasn't true. I think she thought I was going to get confrontational, but I'm more professional than that. I was going to go in and bring management into it, But I'm not going to back down on this one. I'll hit it right where it hurts, and that's with a review. I gave a local business a chance and they acted like I was stealing!! I had nothing on me. Not even a purse. I walked out with nothing but my phone in my pocket and a sour taste in my mouth. All I can say is don't go here. Not to mention everything was extremely overpriced. This consignment store is well stocked some good selections if you know what you're looking for and on a budget, I've made a few purchases in the past. My review is about the consignment items, I decided to try the consignment part of the store and see if it was worth opening and account with Deja Vu, after all I do support small businesses,I left two brand name bags for consignment, I was told to read and sign the agreement and I did but was not given a paper copy. I provided my Phone and email address and was told items would be priced and held for 60 days, before the 60 days were up, I went into the store and I saw my items and I asked if I could pick them up because I was going away on vacation. I was told that time was not up, I could leave it until, I didn't get a call or e-mail letting me know my bags had been sold, I stopped by to check on my bags and I didn't see them on display I asked about them. I wanted to know what happened and I was told that they were either donated or sold, went back-and-forth with the person that was answering my question but this person was not very nice and all I was told is that I signed a contract they didn't tell me how much bags sold for or how much money I was going to get, for the two bags. I wanted to know when they sold and how much. I did not get a straight answer to my question and she just wanted me out of store. Rudely reminding me that I signed a contract. A few days later I get a phone call letting me know that in fact the bags sold but not for much and I can stop by and pick up my $, for all it's worth not worth it, they could have should have handled it better instead of letting a customer walk away angry and dissatisfied with the treatment, I am old school and believe customer in most should be treated in a professional and respectful manner. I will not be consigning nor patronizing this small business DeJaVu. read more

Unfortuantely this store is very nice but simply over prices their items too much for consignment. I just was asked to redo my wardrobe for work and decided to come here to find a deal but every item I picked up was over priced by a decent amount for used items. I believe I picked up a pair of worn out leather shoes priced at $57 and a simple black t-shirt style dress for $20. I called to express my concern (I stayed calm and even apologized if anything came out wrong) and maintained composure as the women on the phone (Madison I believe her name was) was defensive, passive aggressive and decided that due to my "attacking" told me that my conversation was not worth having. I do not intend on returning to this store anymore but I do hope they reevaluate their customer service skills and their pricing. I understand times are hard for everyone so compassion and understanding is an absolute must in this field! read more

PLEASE BEWARE: TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE This was my first time consigning. I brought multiple items to this place, including: clothing that was clean, pressed, and on hangers, boots, booties, shoes, and designer, handbags, all in excellent condition. I brought a coach bag that was originally $200, only used once. I showed up unannounced at the store and found it on the shelf for $14.99!! I was shocked and it wasn't on the website either. I immediately took the bag back at that time. I asked the owner three separate times for a list of the prices of my items being sold, and the answer was always " I am too busy to do that! " I decided after three weeks to pick up all of my belongings because of dishonesty, lies and unprofessionalism. When I arrived at the store to retrieve my items, everything was stuffed in ripped paper bags, not on hangers like I originally brought them. I really should have checked into this place before bringing my things here for consignment. I went into get all the items that had not sold 2-3 weeks before the expiration date, and I was told I would have to find the items myself, which I did. I was able to find a few of my items that had not sold, but one very expensive coach purse that was in perfect condition, hardly ever used with a original bag to keep it in, I was not able to find. They told me they would look for it & I could return in 2 weeks to get the purse. Well, that's basically at or over my time of consignment, and of course, they keep no records of when you try to come in to get your items or when call & speak to someone, etc. I had called a couple days before my "time-period" was up & I spoke with a new girl that told me they cannot find the coach purse, they have been looking all over the store for 2 weeks. I go in the next day & I am told by the owner/manager that I need to give them more time to find the purse. Well, I was not willing for them to continue to give me the run around, and by this time, I am frustrated, I have driven there 3 times to try and collect all the items that have not sold, and frankly just want to be paid for the purse I consigned since they cannot find it to return to me. It was not my fault they have a lousy system with things brought in & some how my expensive coach purse is missing. This manager/ owner starts telling me how I should have read the fine print better, and I could not believe how she was trying to make me feel it was my fault for my purse missing, and I was just going to have to deal with it! Wow!Long story short, they were only willing to pay me $15.00 total for a coach purse they had priced @ $65.00 and some how came up missing!! Stay away from this place is all I can say!!! As a Consignor, I would be careful, especially if you want your unsold items back. They are very unorganized and don't share with you what sold, just how much $ you are getting and cut you a check. After your selling period is over, they say you can get your stuff back, or they will donate it. That is not the case, they will continue to sell your items after the consigment period and then they will keep all the $. I requested my items back after the consignment period and it took numerous phone calls and going into their shop several times to finally get my stuff back. That is when they told me they actually sold some of my stuff AFTER my consignment period, and that they would give me some cash for it. Not trustworthy. read more

First, a general comment: There are beautiful items in the store but they are (1) overpriced; (2) poorly displayed; (3) no signage; and (4) over crowded so it's very difficult to find items you may like. More importantly, customer service is a thing of the past apparently. I brought in a full length mink coat, a family heirloom. Undoubtedly, I over-valued the item. When I showed it to a young girl in consignment (btw, I had to wait 4 minutes to be seen), she looked over the garnet buttons, the perfect mink, the engraved lining and asked "Is it real?" I answered "Are you kidding me? Yes. It's very very real." And I asked to see the manager. She is polite and brings over KRISTINA who claims to have worked there for 15 years. She looks very young, maybe 20ish. KRISTINA is pleasant enough at first but I just don't feel comfortable leaving the coat. When I tell her that I'll bring it back when someone could see its value, she tells me that I don't need to bring the coat back, that she will tell the store not to accept it. "Why?" I ask. She replies "You are not a nice person." "What did I do?" "You were rude and, in fact, you don't ever need to set foot in here again." I never raised my voice. I never cursed. I was a bit terse but certainly not to the extent that KRISTINA replied. So I left with my coat, asked for my consigned items back, and will bring my expensive and valued clothing to a shop who will equally value it. With customer service like this, along with a messy, overcrowded shop with no petite department, Deja Vu does not deserve your business. read more

The shop has WAY too much merchandise to be able to organize and market product successfully. Because of that if you consign items there they probably won't sell and if, by chance, something on your account does sell you'll make nothing off of it. I also wonder if they understand some of the gems of design, material, and construction they receive. It was a total waste of time and I won't be back. read more

Pretty overpriced and their buyers definitely lean more toward an older crowd (40's+). Clearance section has great prices, but nothing of interest for me. This store is good for the people getting rid of their clothes, but $60 for a used dress from black house/white market? Wtf! They also seem to sell some fake Louis bags so beware - there's no way you're getting a real tote bag for $60. Only came here because friend's mom said it was a great high end consignment store when she lived here several yrs ago. Maybe it was before, but it sucks now - she didn't find anything either btw. read more

Love this consignment shop! Locally owned and buyers pay attention to current styles for all ages. TONS of inventory, I never leave empty handed. Huge selection of shoes, jewelry, handbags and accessories. I can easily find name brand clothes in excellent condition at great prices. This is the only consignment store that is selective with brands they carry and picky about quality. As a seller and buyer I greatly appreciate this. I love this store! Dropping off clothes there is a breeze! 1. The whole process took maybe 10 minutes tops. 2. I LOVED that they treated me and my clothes with respect - no returning my clothes to me wadded in a bag after I'd carefully washed and ironed them for their inspection. They have you place everything on a hanger, which I liked, and they return it to you that same way which I really appreciated. 3. They have an online system that allows you to check in and see what's sold. How great is that? 4. Their employees are so pleasant and helpful! 5. Lastly, while I was there, I looked around a bit and found some beautiful clothes! They might be just a smidgen more than another consignment shop in town, but their clothes are so much nicer! In a town like any town, in a strip mall like any other, there is a consignment shop called Deja Vu, which is a fairly common name for a consignment shop. My expectations were low, specifically, I anticipated slim-pickings. The sale racks on the sidewalk announced 50-75% off, which usually means polyester granny dresses and 80s blazers. Happily, astoundingly, the rack was loaded with excellent quality, perfect-condition garments: Ami, Anne Klein, Anne Taylor, Banana Republic and many others. There were several adorable jackets that appeared to never have been worn and demanded admiration. The original prices were a little high for consignment but at 75% off, they were better than just right. Inside the shop, the sale continued with a rack devoted to Chico and Cabi. The displays at the front of the store held designer brands and a fantastic selection of handbags and accessories. Rounders through the middle separated clothing by size and type. There were the standard three "Tops" rounders labeled by Small, Medium and Large but also a rounder specially for blouses and one for shirts (such as Foxcroft). This set-up was a bit confusing at first, but this shop has so much inventory that the divisions are clearly necessary. Off to the right were racks of pants, skirts and jeans, a wall of dresses and a little selection whimsically labeled "Cute Things." While shopping the racks, I resisted the urge to drag a mountain of stuff into the changing room and spend wads of cash. Resistance was difficult because virtually every garment in the store was so freaking CUTE that every rack could have been labeled "Cute Things." Most jackets were priced in the twenties and most blouses in the teens. My sister shopped the sale rack and bought a silk Ann Taylor blouse and denim vest and spent less than $15. She has more self control than I do. A little Banana Republic suit ($34) with wide leg pants and a cropped jacket looked at me like a brown-eyed puppy in a pet shop window. Better to just resist completely. Technically I was not supposed to be shopping at all due to lack of bank, a situation I shall blame on the economy instead of my own poor choices. At the back of the shop was a small selection of plus-sized clothing, a clearance rack, shoes and a small jewelry case, all worth scouting. The plus-size racks were small but well selected and priced with some very nice jeans for about $15-20. Deja Vu was a wonderfully pleasant surprise. The little touches matter so much in a consignment store: beautiful dressing room curtains, organization and good lighting, adequate labeling and sturdy display racks. It is not difficult to make a consignment shop feel like a boutique and this one is beautifully done. This isn't the place to shop if you are looking for a shop full of bargain basement prices but for mid to high end wardrobe pieces (including suits) Deja Vu is most certainly worth your time. read more

I have mixed feelings regarding this little shop. They carry higher end clothing at higher end pricing. I find the regular clothing is priced high also unless you shop the sale tags, which I usually do. It is just as hit or miss in this store as any thrift store. The used shoes are a bit worn for me and well overpriced for used in my humble opinion and I'm not that picky. I've purchased many used shoes from other places such as Goodwill and Spanky's. There is a tendency for the shoppers to be older, but that just means more chances for me to find something I like that they skipped over. If you sign up with their email you will be notified of sales and secret sales which on the email subscribers are informed of. If you bring something in for consignment, be wary. First, everything must come in on a hanger. I did not know that the first time and they were a little short with me until I made it clear I had never consigned there. I only had two items. They said if I had much more they would insist I come back with them on hangers. They only take consignments in on particular days during a limited window. You have been warned. I consigned a shirt I paid sixty for on clearance at the mall and a forty dollar Gap young girls dress. The dress was donated. That was my bad for forgetting to pick it up in time. The shirt sold for three dollars. I think I would have had a better return elsewhere. I believe the shirt was victim of a buy one get one free sale or something of the like. Perhaps they really did price it that low. I don't know. They couldn't tell me either. I will probably pop in every now and again to peruse as I do occasionally have good luck there. However I doubt I will bring anything in to consign ever again. On an informative note, if you do consign there they donate what doesn't sell at the end of your term for free. That's a bonus. Prices are on the higher end for a consignment store, and this one is sorta aimed at our elders - there's a "resort wear" rack and plenty of Chico's-esque styles. Pretty great shoe selection, though. read more

She brings the same basket of clothes from Charlotte Russe, H&M and Guess to Deja Vu and they take it all! Definitely recommend this store! This store is somewhat like a fancy Good Will with clothes that are three times the price. The clothes are consigned, giving the customer 40% of the sold item. When they aren't sold, they are donated. So it behooves them to take LOTS of consigned clothes. Some clothes are stylish with quality value, but those are simply overpriced. read more

I walked into the store and the staff did not say a thing to me, I almost thought that the store was closed, until I heard them talking. They noticed me, but still did not say a thing. I picked out a used pair of Hudson's without a tag, I went up to the counter, where I stood for about 1 minute before they said a thing to me, yet again talking to each other. The jeans were marked at $63.00 which is a little high for a used pair, considering I just picked up a brand new pair for $54 at the rack. Luckily they were marked down 25% since the store had them for a month now. Then we go up to another counter, where I was told that the jeans were going to be marked at $65, not $63 because they did not have a tag, and they had to reprint one which is a $1.50, somehow I became responsible for the missing tag, which by the way they kept. They have got high and basically brand new, all types assortment of jeans sweaters blouses coats etc. Every time I go in the employees are so friendly and accommodating. She always has what I like and it's a rotating stock and 50% off that rotating stock.I'm always sad to see things go out the door because I wasn't fast enough to purchase them.
