I absolutely love my hair color from LuxBae Salon and Med Spa. The team there is amazing, professional, and attentive from start to finish. My stylist listened to exactly what I wanted, offered great suggestions, and delivered flawless color that looks vibrant and healthy. I've been going to Luxbae Salon and Medical Spa in Glendale on and off, and every time I go I'm reminded how genuinely nice everyone is. The staff is so sweet and welcoming, not in a fake or overly salesy way. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and it never feels rushed or transactional. This time I came in for the Evolve X body contouring treatment using the Transform applicator with radiofrequency and EMS. I already work out and eat healthy, but wanted extra tightening and toning in my stomach area. After a few sessions, I'm really happy with the results. My skin looks tighter, more sculpted, and there's zero downtime or side effects. The technician was knowledgeable and explained everything clearly, which I appreciated. I also tried some of the products they carry. I've been taking the NIANCE Swiss gold collagen supplement and have noticed a difference in my hair and skin. I picked up a few Mansard Paris products as well and have been loving them. The pricing felt very fair compared to other European brands. I've also gotten my hair done here in the past (extensions), which is what brought me back. Overall, it's a genuinely friendly, welcoming place with great treatments and people who actually care!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Luxbae Med Spa in Glendale. My experience with their Evolve Transform treatment gave me my body back. Two years ago, I went on a GLP-1 weight loss medication and while I successfully lost weight, I also lost something I wasn't prepared for -- a significant amount of muscle and volume in my buttocks area. The change felt dramatic and emotional for me. I had worked hard for years to maintain my curves, and suddenly my shape was gone. My butt looked flat, deflated, and I also noticed skin laxity. It truly affected how I felt in my clothes and especially in swimwear, and almost spiraled me into depression. LuxeBae is my go to salon for all of my hair needs! They've been with me through many phases of hair color & I can't rave about them enough. The first time I sat in their chair I had a black box dyed mess but their master techniques took care of me & lightened my hair in a very gentle & effective way that didn't leave my hair fried. They really give you the exact color you want every time. And as a girl with long naturally curly hair it's important for my hair to maintain healthy shape & texture whether or not it's blown out & their treatments & products always leave me with soft & silky hair. I highly recommend booking with them whether you go to the glendale or weho location. Everyone there is super friendly & make you feel beautiful from the beginning to the end of your appointment. I just want to say that this is the best salon I have ever been to! Suzy is a rockstar!!! She is so fast and efficient and is really THE BEST colorist and stylist. I went in for balayage and tape in extensions and left feeling like a million bucks. She had a room full of clients and was amazing with every single one. Never have I seen a salon ran so well and be so well organized. I highly recommend Suzy and her staff to everyone. She specializes in blondes but I saw her do amazing with other colors as well. If I can give this salon 0 stars I would. Please do yourselves a favor and do not come here. They will ruin your hair and charge you an arm and leg for it. I was referred here by a friend. I basically wanted to go lighter and more on the ashy side with dark roots. My appt was at 10:30 and I didn't sit on the chair till 11:15, Suzy the owner was late because she had a doctors appt. whatever no big deal. I showed her the picture of what I want and she said no problem we can work with that. She has all her little puppets working for her, this one girl brings the bleach and slaps it all over my hair from roots till the end. Time goes by, they wash my bleach off then apply toner. All they did is bleach, tone and wash god knows how many times. (I lost count). As she was washing my hair she noticed that it's not like the picture, so she tells me " I know it's not close to the picture, but I took the orange out of your hair" excuse me? I came here for you to work on my hair as in doing a balayage not over lapping bleach on and taking the orange out.She did not even use any foils, no highlighting everything was bleaching and it was all done in her sink. They blow dry my hair and I tell her I wanted more darker on the roots as in bringing the darkness more down. She told me she still has work to do on my hair because she prob herself didn't like her work. Whatever, they tell me to come back two days later to finish the job. I paid over $400 for something she couldn't do. I'm sorry, if you can't to that job then tell the client I can't do it. Not tell them you can and give them something totally different. All she is good at is sweet talking and collecting money. I came back two days later and they slapped more bleach on my hair and still didn't get the job done. They finished and I told her again my roots are still not dark enough and she brushed me off and had the audacity to charge me for the bonding treatment. I refused to pay for that since I already paid over $400 for them to damage my hair. She does not put time and effort on your hair. She makes her little puppets do all the work and thats why they destroy people's hair. My hair right now is dry, brittle and literally damaged. It's breaking. I had to color it dark brown because of the nasty color they left me with. Please don't go here. You will regret it, I was literally crying. Another note, go somewhere that uses Olaplex. read more

Wow where do I start. Ive gotten my hair done here, laser hair removal, and cosmetic procedures and have never had a less than great experience. I first started coming here for my hair (Suzy the owner is an amazing colorist) and when the Med Spa was opened I started coming in for laser hair removal and met Liana who is the most thoughtful and wonderful nurse I have ever met. She is extremely professional and also knowledgable about her work, Ive also been going to her for cosmetic procedures and dermal fillers and I recommend her to everybody! Also had an Aquagold treatment done here the other day and Im loving my results so far. My pores have shrunk, my skin is glowing and clear. Thanks everybody at Monroe! read more

I dont know where to start! I have had damaged hair for over 6 years and i have been going to different places each time and my hair would get even worse. So finally decided to try Monroe salon for my long wanted blonde hair. I made an appointment with Suzie came in yesterday from 11am until 7 pm she worked so hard with my hair putting treatments and bleach and treatments all over and today i came back for my color and the result????? Suzy is the God of Blonde! no joke! She has been perfecting my hair for several years now, she is the one and only person I will ever trust with my hair. My sister and I recently became severely allergic to bleach and yet Suzy still manages to make us the perfect platinum blonde without being affected by the bleach! This review is for the MedSpa portion of the salon. Although, I would highly recommend the salon as well, for anyone looking to maintain the integrity of their hair while achieve a healthy blonde with a stunning tone. Liana does amazing work. I was really nervous to get my lips filled but she helped me through the process with top notch numbing cream and creating a calm environment. I've got my lips filled by her twice to achieve custom lips. I've been so happy and left with beautiful lips both times. I love them, it's a little extra boost of confidence. She also offers Botox that i got for my gummy smile. I'm so happy and thankful that I FINALLY have a salon with professionals that I trust. read more

I found them through Instagram and fell in love with all the vibrant hair colors they were able to pull off so naturally I made an appointment and I don't regret it one bit! I had never dyed my hair before so I had long curly brownish hair and I wanted pink hair for a change. Suzie and her team are the best! My first time meeting them all and I felt so comfortable and welcomed so nice and super talented. She knew it was my first time and I was afraid to dye the whole head pink since it had to be bleached so we did a ombré/balayage pink dye look. She got it exactly how I wanted it, from color to the way I wanted it to look. I've only gotten compliments since then I'm obsessed, I've gone now twice to re - tone to a different pink after the first round was washed out, I can't wait to go again I need to figure out a day and go back for more! I started coming to Suzy at Monroe Salon years now, I wouldn't change anything. Suzy has a heart of gold, her employees absolutely take care you and adore you minute you walk in and last minute you leave, from my dark brown ashy hair Suzy with her miracle hands and techniques turn my hair to platinum blond and healthy, sexy, shiny and fun hair. Ive been coming to this hair salon for over 3 years now and all i have to say is Suzy is like a hair doctor. Ive had dark hair most of my life and before i went to her i had another hair dresser make my hair lighter and messed it up. Suzy had fixed it after one appointment without damaging any of my hair. Suzy is everything you wish for in a stylist. My mom has been coming to her for a while now for her short and chic bob cut and beautiful blonde color. She is a definitely a blonde master as evidenced by all her pictures and all the girls in the salon, most of which are blonde. It was my first time getting a cut and color with her but I was not nervous after seeing all of her work. She is extremely pleasant and accommodating and so is her friendly staff. I had a balayage treatment done and had to leave before it was finished- Suzy was able to blow dry me so I can leave for my meeting and then come back 3 hours later where she finished up my cut and color. She was very thorough- making sure the color was exactly as she and I had discussed. She is also very open to suggestions- I thought my cut was a little more sharp than what I wanted and she was quick to change it and make it exactly how I wanted. NO EGO. I can't tell you how refreshing that is in an industry where so many stylists think they know best and forget that the most important thing is to keep their clients happy. Minimal wait time and just a nice environment to be around-welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be referring my friends and be back soon. =) read more

I wouldn't trust my head of hair with anyone else. I went blonde a year ago and am consistent with this salon because they do an amazing job every single time without damaging my hair. My hairs fairly long and I didn't want to damage it with bleach but they've managed to maintain quality of my hair. Suzy and all her workers do magic. read more

I just got my hair done yesterday and I couldn't be happier with the results!! I needed a color correction for my newly done ombre ( done at another salon) and after spending over $100 but I just wasn't in love with my hair. I asked Suzy to help fix this mess. She ended up doing a Balayage, which means my roots are darker than the ends of my hair. I loved it!! She's so sweet, I felt like I've known her forever. This is the only place I go to get my hair done over 7 years because they are the absolute best! I always get my hair done by Susan she's amazing and I highly recommend her and all the ladies nice too. This is the best salon. That day when James came to the salon with her girlfriend i was there. Susan owner of Monroe salon nicely told the gentlemen if you can wait out said because there is a ladies they do waxing and other thing and they don't feel comfortable when there is a men.i think James you have to understand if there was no man only women's in side you don't need to sit and making big deal and write bad review This is the best professional salon read more

Awesome salon! Super friendly staff. They took care of all my needs and were very sweet. I love my cut and color done by the one and only Suzy ;) I had a lot of dead ends but was very hesitant to cut too much hair off (I don't like short hair).Suzy helped me out with that by cutting off most of my dead ends and leaving my hair healthy all while keeping the length. Just do it!!!! I went from mermaid red hair to a beautiful balayage in a matter of 5 hours with NO DAMAGE. The color is so beautiful and I am always asked everywhere I go about my hair. I in love with this Salon and specially with my hair. I had a great experience customer service was amazing the whole staff treats you over the top. My hair colorist did amazing job and the results were what I want it and going from dark to blond didn't even get any damage to my hair . Save your hair , money and time. I went there 2 month ago, since than I spend fortune to fix what Suzy did to my hair, I paid 350$ for balayage and 80$ for two hair products, which is crazy for shoulder length hair ( it was bleach all over , just not roots and toner which came out after one wash). I already cut it 4 times since than , because nothing works it keeps felling off. I can't use flat iron, curling iron , literally nothing , its always up, because it's so demanded. I want to cry after every wash , because to regrow it , it will take 2-3 years. I have yelow color with dark roots and totally dead hair, for 15 years of dying my hair , that's my worst experience, seriously nightmare. read more

There's parking in a private parking lot, as well as a nice waiting area to lounge until you're called. There's a kiosk available for sign-in, and the space has actually been newly reorganized so that check-in is at the entrance. Love that! As for the lasering. This is my first time ever doing laser, and it seems different technicians give different time frames. At first, I was told to give it about 4-6 sessions, and then other techs started saying 6-8 as I was nearing my 6th. Maybe they all have different ideas or training, but it felt a bit uneasy at first, and I wondered if they'd keep moving the number as I continued treatment. I saw major results after the very first session. It took a second, and at first I thought it couldn't have worked, until 3 weeks in, I just so happened to realize my girly girl was almost fully bald! Haha, I didn't even realize! Then of course, some started growing back in, but that was an awesome result for a first session. Now that I've done my 6th session, I can say that it's pretty great and thorough, but I do have 2 stubborn spots. The annoying thing is that they have you shave before you come in, so you can't accurately show them the exact stubborn spot. I do wish they'd let me come in as-is and shave THERE after they located the stubborn spots, since I am basically spot treating now. They do have the time for it, as your booked window is 15 minutes, and the treatment part isn't even 5 minutes. Everyone is super nice, and people are clean. FYI, they will not do the inner part if you're on your cycle. This happened for my first session. I waxed before, and every wax technician allowed a tampon. Since lasering is less hands-on, and gloves are used, I assumed I'd be good to go with a tampon. But nope! She only did the top part, which I believe is why the inner area is more stubborn, because technically I got 5 treatments for that part, unlike the other parts. There are patchy spots on the top part too, so I know that's not the sole reason some parts still need treatment, but still. Just be mindful of your cycle when booking! I'll be back for my 7th session in about a week. Hopefully I don't need monthly sessions after this one. We'll see! It's definitely great value when using classpass, so no complaints there from me!

I was told that it was "just the way I see them," rather than receiving a thorough or supportive assessment. An attempt was made to dissolve the area, but too much was dissolved. When I returned to correct it, a different filler was used, which left my lips uneven and with an unnatural shape. Despite this, I was told I would need to pay more if I wanted additional filler to fix the issue, something I felt was caused during the initial treatment Communication was also very frustrating. I left messages with the front desk and sent emails using the contact information provided, but did not receive a response for an extended period of time until she noticed my review Overall, I did not feel supported as a patient, especially when concerns came up after treatment. It's intense, like super intense. Be prepared to see a lot of your own blood/fat and to be very sick after the surgery. But 13k later and my "results" look pretty much the same as before. Not only was the surgery like I said intense, but recovery was crazy painful. This surgery was definitely the hardest thing I've ever done and to not even be happy with my results is extremely infuriating. My biggest concerns were my hip dips and lifting/enlarging my butt. Now (months after surgery) my hip dips are still there and when I told her about it she said she likes it better that way because it looks more natural.... I didn't pay $13,000 for it to look natural nor did I say I wanted that look. I know some people do, but not me, and she was told that. I also still gain a lot of fat in my stomach area, more now than I had before the surgery, she said she did that so it would look more natural as well.. why would I get lipo on my stomach if I still wanted to gain weight there... they completely disregarded my concerns after and told me if I was unhappy then I could get another surgery done and that they "have new financing options".. why would I pay for a 2nd surgery when I'm super unhappy with the first one?? Other doctors do touch ups for free if the results aren't what they should be and they didn't even offer me sculptra to temporarily fix the hip dips. Not to mention my left leg is botched and has a super weird and noticeable indent. I understand I didn't have a lot of fat to move, even though the surgeon told me I had enough, but when I tried moving my surgery date to later that way I could have more time to gain more weight they convinced me to keep my surgery date and that it would be okay fat wise. Well it wasn't, not at all, so I'm sure they just wanted me to hurry up and get the surgery so they could lock some sales in. Not thinking about how it would affect my results, especially when I told them the look I wanted. Surgery aside they were not helpful with post op care, faja knowledge, and anything else that would help with my results. It's like I went in for surgery and that was it. They also said I could sleep on my back/butt the 1st night, I have never heard any other dr say that, everyone says you can't sleep on your back for at least 6 weeks cuz it could kill the fat and flatten your results. I didn't sit on my butt for 10 weeks and I still have a flat butt! My one week post op was done over FaceTime and the doctor was on vacation, at a restaurant in public while FaceTiming me (nude). Also their endermologie treatments are not real endermologie treatments, they do lymphatic drainage treatments and say it's endermologie. 2 completely different treatments and they are trying to get more money out of you by calling it that when it's really just lymphatic drainage. If I paid 5k for this surgery fine, no big deal, but 13k and awake for that price I should absolutely be in love with my results. I'm just as insecure with my butt as I was before.

Definitely a change in my body, but in all fairness after 2 1/2 months came by and my swelling went down I noticed during the surgery I felt more injection on my right side hip than my left. I didn't think anything of it but like I said as the month went by I notice that my left hip dip was coming back so when I went in for a follow up , I felt completely disregarded unheard but most importantly, just disappointed this wasn't just no thousand dollar procedure. I spent a good amount of money on this to feel good about myself so for me to find something that I was insecure about and to see it come back it was very upsetting, but not as upsetting as the doctors response, she denied seeing it and of course grabbing one of her assistance and her stating she doesn't see it either. Of course she's gonna say that she works there, it was sad hearing them deny something that is clearly there. After that they didn't follow up with me anymore. It took literally almost 6 months for me to get my paperwork because I wanted to see everything that was done that day unlike some people, I like to keep my medical records for any case. It wasn't until I threaten them and stated that I would report them to the medical board for neglect of patient care. I've contacted them and they canceled my last six month Follow up, and I mean it was IMPOSSIBLE to get a reschedule, I'm pretty sure it was because Dr. GEVORGYAN didn't want to see me anymore due from our last visit. Pretty sure they didn't want to hear how I was still upset about my left side hip. While I was awake during my surgery, I noticed that she inject more on my right side than my left side I mean and all honesty I was AWAKE so I know what I'm talking about. I'm not trying to milk this medical office for more money, I just wanted what was suppose to be done the first time get corrected but if you have unhappy patients about certain things. In order for your practice to look good and succeed, you should take a listen to those patients who are spending a good amount of money on this. My suggestion if you're considering this place don't do it find a doctor that will really truly hear you out and if you're unhappy, with certain result, they'll do best to fix it, this office doesn't care about you once you've done the procedure it's like a kick out of the door. I wish they really heard me out and fix my left hip dip, that's all I wanted free of charge bc again, I told her before and DURING the procedure I want my dips gone, bigger hips. I guess I got the price of one lol just SO SAD SO DISAPPOINTING. I hope this review encourages you to find a doctor better than this doctor I worked with. If you have to spend more money at the end of the day, it's worth it. I wish I had save up my money more and found someone that would've got the job right the first time if I give them zero stars I would I'm just really upset of the money thrown away, it's probably nothing to them, but for someone who worked hard to get their own it took a long time for me to save that money. I was a new client with an appt on 6/21/15. I was scheduled at 10:30 am and I arrived at 10:15 am because I know how valuable time is and I didn't want to be late. You greeted me and asked me to have a seat. I sat for over 30 minutes before you came over to look at my hair. When you asked me what I wanted I explained to you that I've had the same stylist for over 20 years without any damage to my hair. I showed you the current damage from 2 previous salons here in LA . I explained that I want NO yellow NO orange and NO purple. I simply wanted my roots done. I felt rushed in your assessment of my hair and that you weren't really paying attention. You asked me to have a seat again. I sat for another 30 minutes before I was finally in your chair. You said you didn't want to use bleach and that you could lighten my hair using color. I trusted you. After the 5 min color application you told me to sit for 45 mins... Which I did and then some. Finally an hour and 15 mins later the color was getting washed off. Was I supposed to tell you when the 45 mins was up... I certainly hope not. After 2 more applications I was finally back in your chair and when I removed the towel my hair was PURPLE with GOLDEN blonde roots and PINK tones throughout. It was written all over my face that I was freaking out but I tried to remain calm and hopeful because your assistant said once dried it would NOT BE PURPLE. She dried it and it was still purple and my roots a brassy golden blonde! You said blonde is your "specialty" and looking at your pictures I believed you. When you came back over to me you started curling my hair and I said my hair is purple and you said it will wash out after ONE wash. I explained to you that the last stylist told me the same and my hair was purple for 3 WEEKS! You said no just one wash. I shouldn't have to leave a salon being told that my hair will look right after one wash. I should leave the salon with what I want and what I was told I would get and what I paid for! I have now washed my hair 3 times since yesterday's appt and it is STILL PURPLE WITH STRAWBERRY BLONDE ROOTS! It is NOT platinum blonde by any means. All you kept saying is one wash and if you don't like it we can FIX it in 4 weeks. Three washes later I can tell you I hate it and I can't believe I have to go to work tomorrow with purple hair! The whole experience yesterday was awful. It was chaotic, unorganized and basically a huge disappointment. Your assistant is the best thing about your salon. Hiding behind your friends and family or "community" and making fun of me after the fact in front of other patrons is tacky. Over emphasizing on how great you are at what you do, even when a client is not happy with the results, when you added color that I did not ask for, insisting that after a few washes it will improve over time just creates despair and emotional distress for them, I still have your text message and photos of my hair I sent you and the aftermath by the way. Bashing honest reviewers just to up your ratings over time will diminish your reservoir of good will and potential new clients outside your current "niche". Every business including your "acclaimed" thriving one needs new client stream especially if you can appreciate diversity and not label non-Armenian as "suspect" rivals or competition from other salons. This might help make your case objective. You are stooping too low when you bring out your worst commenting venomously on yelp reviews that give you their individual experiences and first impressions instead of focusing on customer recovery. I have been platinum blonde for over 12+ years with perfectly healthy hair. I had seen the work of Monroe "Suzy" on Instagram and it looked beautiful, so I thought I would give it a try, what a big mistake. First and foremost, they have inexperienced assistants applying bleach to your head. Secondly, they apply double bleach (which is a no-no), then they have more clients than wash stations, so the bleach stays on your head for way longer than it should, because they are busy washing other people's hair. Aside from having my hair fall out due to double-bleaching, you are looking at about $450-$500, not to mention the 3-4 people you have to tip that touched your hair - you do the math! The first time, they left my hair purple, the second time it was green and I do understand toners, but its their job to fix that, color specialist! I was so sad to see young girls, 16-18 year olds getting their beautiful long dark hair bleached blonde with all the damage! Half the clients were there for extensions! So, basically, you pay them a hefty fee for frying your hair off, then try to sell you extensions to cover the damage and in turn, make more money. You really have to be stupid and/or bald to continue going here! Never again! read more

god i saw her work on ig it was so amazing from what I've seen read the reviews and almost 5 stars but oh hell na, its all a big fat lie the people she works with are like her lil puppets as the other girl said, and on top of that they don't work they play around until she says bring me this and that.. they ruined my hair i had dark brown hair and i wanted to go platinum god damn she didn't make me platinum she washed my hair so many damn times i was ready to go it was to much and she kept pulling my god damn hair and after 6 hours she made me an ugly blonde that has yellow in it and everyone in these damn reviews say she the blonde god master my ass she bleaches your hair until it falls off and she charges so much 400 to go platinum on top of that she gives a very very ugly hair cut she don't know how to cut hair either and all these people say she's amazing i don't buy any of that to be real i went had my own experience and it wasn't great my hair is damaged from this place and it's fallen off so i had to go black and now it's jus all bad i would give this place 0 if i could please don't waste ur money or time coming to this place the boss lady got to comfortable she jus burns hair now read more

It was my first time going to this salon and Suzy bleached my hair when my hair was already bleached and I told her I only needed it for my roots, but she insisted on bleaching all my hair. She lined up 10 clients and myself at once and put bleach in our hair and went off doing her own thing. She burned all my hair and another girl sitting next to me was about to faint because of how long she left the bleach in her hair. They had to put wet towels on her and she couldn't breathe. She then sold me on $125 hair spray that helps hair growth, but in return it worsened my hair growth along with her expensive horrible bleach treatment. It was such a disappointment after seeing all her pictures, but it is clear to me that the real professional is her photo editor. read more

If I can give this place zero stars I would i have nothing nice to say unfortunately, this place is known on deleting bad reviews,tbh she does do a good job but just for the moment once u go home and look at your hair it's all burned off after u wash it , my hair fell off after coming to her my head was burning because of how much bleach she used on my head haha and charged so much money for it.. don't waste your money and time coming her unfortunately all the good reviews seem to be a lie and if you look closely some of her blondes look burned that she has done on her clients it's jus good lighting and a lot of hair product to smooth it out. Suzy, the head colorist, does an *amazing* job to say the least! I had virgin hair and was super worried about coloring it but she made the whole process pleasant. I went from dark hair to light/white blonde balayage in a single day (it was a long process, ~7 hours) but totally worth it!). It was amazing because she made my hair look exactly like the hair color in the picture that I showed her - actually, my hair turned out way *better* than what I wanted. There were two other girls helping her (sorry don't remember the names) but they also did a great job helping with all the steps. I am super excited about my new hair, thank you! Hair and lips by Monroe. Beautiful and plump lips by Liana. This was my first cosmetic procedure and they were so professional. And it didn't hurt! thank goodness because I was nervous but Liana was patient and gave me beautiful custom lips as a result. I'm so happy with my experience. And for my blonde.
