My wedding is next Friday, and I was in search for a nail salon around the area. I finally settled on Lux Nail Salon, and I was not disappointed. It has been a while since I've been to a nail salon, due to my last experience wasn't a good one, and now I mostly just do my nails at home. But for my wedding, I wanted my nails to be done by professionals. I got here just after 10am and there weren't many customers yet. Was greeted right away, and they offer free beverages while you're there. I forgot to take a photo, but the options were water, sparkling water, apple juice, hot tea/coffee, and wine. I'd love to have some wine next time if I stop by later, but 10am was a bit too early haha. The nail technicians were very nice. For my nails, I had an inspo photo, where the tech paid close attention and the results came out better than I could have imagined. I loved her attention to detail. For my toes, I opted for French Tip. Overall, I was very satisfied with this visit, and needless to say, I will be visiting again. Oh, and before I left, they gave me a bottle of cuticle oil as a Christmas present. How thoughtful and cute!

Always had a good experience here until yesterday, last nail tech was WAY too rough and rushed the job. Totally left cuts all over my cuticles for my pedicure. So painful I'm debating having if all removed. Uneven job and super painful to even walk! I recoiled in pain but I wish I would have been more assertive or walked away from the job while I still could. Also made me bleed from the sides. I just hope this doesn't result in an infection.

This was my second visit to Lux Nail Spa. My first visit wasn't bad, so I decided to come back. However, this time the experience was very disappointing. Even though I had an appointment for both a pedicure and manicure at the same time, they suddenly took a walk-in customer before starting my nails. Because of that, my manicure didn't start until my pedicure was completely finished, and the whole appointment ended up taking almost 2 hours and 30 minutes. The bigger problem happened during the pedicure. I have ingrown toenails, so I usually keep my toenails a little longer and avoid cutting them too short. A professional nail technician should be able to recognize that. However, without asking me anything, the technician started cutting very deeply into both sides of my toenail, digging all the way toward the root. The right side was okay, but the left toe was extremely painful. I told her that it hurt more than eight times, but she kept going anyway, probably trying to finish cutting what she had started. Eventually I said it hurt too much, and she brought another technician to finish it, but by that time my toe was already very irritated, swollen, red, and throbbing. The next morning I could barely walk and had to limp because of the pain. I applied ointment but it is still throbbing, and the pain is bad enough that I may need to take pain medication. I'm even considering going to the doctor. After researching, I learned that cutting the sides of an ingrown toenail deeply and sharply can actually make the problem worse, even if it looks cleaner at the moment. I don't understand why this was done without asking me first, and why the technician continued even after I repeatedly said it was painful. As a professional, this should be basic knowledge. I was originally planning to get gel pedicure, but because my toe was throbbing so much, I asked to switch to regular polish since I didn't think exposing it to heat from the gel process would be good. However, the technician kept insisting that gel lasts longer and continued recommending gel, which honestly felt like it was just because of the extra charge. There were also issues with my manicure. By the time my nails started, it was already past their closing time, and the technician seemed rushed. The design she did looked nothing like the reference photo I showed. It was a completely different color and style and looked very outdated. We removed it twice, but she still couldn't recreate the design, so I ended up leaving without any design at all. Also, there was dust trapped in the polish on my thumb. When I pointed it out, she said it was because I touched my phone and just roughly filed it instead of properly fixing it. Overall, the service quality was very disappointing this time.

It was new and close to the library for my kids, so I walked in on a Sunday, and it was packed, which is a good sign! I made an appointment for Monday during happy hour because it was 15% off. Monday - Wednesday 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. all services are 15% off. I came on Monday at noon, and it was not that busy at all which was great for me! I got gel French tips on my nails and a regular pedi. It was like a combo $65 plus $5 to remove the old leftover gel polish on my toes, plus $15 for gel on the nails, plus $7 for French tips--minus the 15% which was great. The service was nice. They offered me a free drink right away. They took their time on my cuticles. The callous removal was awesome! I've tried places that are cheaper, but the callous removal was awful. This salon is clean, very spacious, and comfortable. The spa chair does a great massage, and it had a compartment that raised up to rest my foot for the callous removal! If you pay will cash, Zelle, or Venmo, it's a couple dollars cheaper than credit card. The ladies, Yen and Tammy were nice but didn't speak English. They couldn't talk to me which was fine because I really just needed to relax and rest. My pedicure came with hot stones for my legs, and one was way too hot that I yelled out loud, but it was fine. I didn't care too much. I feel like the pedicure came with a lot of steps that I enjoyed: scrub, lotion massage, hot stones, etc. They even had Halloween decor up! Major plus, the bathroom was super clean! I would definitely come back during happy hour pricing!

I tried Lux Nail Studio today for the first time and had an amazing experience! I've been searching for a new nail salon specifically for pedicures, and my technician was wonderful. The atmosphere was relaxing, clean, and welcoming, and I loved that the chairs have massagers (which is surprisingly hard to find at newer salons) My pedicure was thorough, Iand very reasonably priced! I'll definitely be coming back!

Well, the first thing is I'm visiting from out of town and I've never been to the shop. I walked here and it's great parking is ample. I really like the fact that when I walked in, I was greeted by the store manager. I got the Manny Petty and they just really took good care of me and had a great conversation. The store is clean. They have good music on and I was done in a timely manner so I'm happy customer.

Let's be honest - I was wondering over the SECOND I received a complimentary mimosa. The inside of the salon was clean, and they played music I actually wanted to hear. I wish there was a TV facing the way I was sitting, but I appreciated the fact that another TV on the wall played cartoons for any little ones who might accompany their grown up. My nails look so clean, and my nail tech Tiffany gave me a bottle of water on the house and engaged me in some slight welcomed small talk, but allowed me to enjoy my time in silence also. First time customer. I was an early morning walk in, was immediately assisted & offered a water. My gel mani/pedi came out nice. The two girls took their time which was nice. I wasn't in a hurry & there wasn't anyone else waiting. The salon is very clean & new. They're a new business & I took advantage of their current discount on services. I will be back to use them again. Pricing is similar to most nail salons in the area. They will be having a "happy hour" Monday-Wednesday with 15% discount. I am not a frequent customer but i have gone here the last 2 years a few times a year. I got my wedding nails done here (attached "shell" like french tip). This new location was not it. It has been open a month and although i don't mind waiting i got there at 2pm on Saturday and left at 5pm. It was only a manicure, no pedicure. There were 3 techs but only 1 doing design so the other 2 were only prepping the nails. I asked for a pink on pink french tip as a yr ago i had it done and it was powder and i kept thinking about them. The new location did it with gel and it was NOT pink on pink. The tech put pink over the WHITE french tips. I am not happy with them. For the hours that i was there i did not want to complain again. They had quality work before. I want to start off by saying that Chelsey provided such great service and showed true integrity! I love love love how my pedicure was done with care--it was my first time trying this place, and overall it was a great experience. However, I do want to mention that my grandma received a deluxe pedicure from Linlina (sorry if I'm spelling her name wrong), and unfortunately, it didn't meet our expectations. She skipped some steps of the deluxe service and seemed rushed, like she didn't really want to do it. Both my grandma and I noticed this, which was disappointing. To top it off, we hadn't even left the salon before my grandma's polish smudged. We understand this may have been because we opted for regular polish instead of gel and only two coats were applied--but still, when a regular pedicure ends up feeling more complete than a deluxe, it's definitely a letdown. read more

Love how easy it is to call and schedule an appointment. Their hours are great and establishment is clean! -1 star because they get you with up charges. My service add-ons came out to $40 ($15 gel, $15 chrome, $10 cuticle?!) Shocked that a hard gel manicure doesn't come with removing cuticles. Recommend coming here but definitely confirm pricing before saying yes to suggestions. read more

I never write reviews unless its a very bad experience. I went with my kids for a mani/pedi. Upon receiving the service I called the place asking if they only changed polish on my kids and the manager started screaming at me on the phone. Ive never had that kind of experience ever in my life. I only called to confirm if my kids received the service I requested since I was sitting on my other side. Prior to me making my appt they said all of us will be taken care of together but when I went there they did my kids first and then me and I couldnt even enjoy getting my pedicure because by then my kids were done and kept disturbing me. The whole point was to get it together and not take turns. I will not return to this place. Customer service 0/10 read more

Very unfortunate to write this because we were looking for a new nail salon for our routine services and this place turned out not to be it. First time we came in, no appointment, waited about 30 minutes until they told us they were too busy and to come back. so we left and came back an hour or two later and it was fine (although still waiting 30 min after returning). Gave them another shot but with an appointment this time and they had us wait 50 minutes then had someone file off our gel coat and wait for a technician. we ask how much longer it will be and they say 10-15 minutes. sooo i still have to wait over an hour after my appointment time? it is great that they are busy but hire more staff and show appreciation for those planning ahead wanting to support your business. we left without any polish because we couldn't wait any longer. (still left a small tip). cherry on top is they started waxing the woman's eyebrows next to me while doing her nails. just weird dude. will not be returning. Don't come here unless you have hours of free time for a simple gel fill. read more

Everyone around me was offered a menu with complimentary drinks besides me. I had to ask half way into my appointment for water. It felt rushed. I expressed how one of my nails was thin and hurting and she grabbed my hand and buffed it hard to where to started bleeding. She also had me soak my entire fingers in acetone rather than wrapping each nail in foil. I tried to only dip my nails in the acetone but she forced my fingers into the bowl. I paid $60 for a regular gel manicure which is super pricey. My nails look splotchy. Very unhappy with this service read more

BEWARE! Horrible service. Got my nails done and one completely broke off 2 days later and then 3 days after that 3 of them chipped. I went back to get them fixed and the man that works there started yelling at me and the ladies working with him we're all laughing. I'm shocked at how rude they all were. When I first came I was starting to see texture and kinda rough patches on my face/cheeks. I started seeing Satik to help manage those flare ups. Her treatments helped my skin so much. After seeing her my skin has been cleaner, softer, and breaking out less. I have included photos from before and after. Continually coming to see her has helped maintain my skin healthy and glowy. She uses a European extraction technique that is not very common because it can be difficult to do, however I only trust Satik. She's been doing this for so long and knows what she is doing. What's worked for me and my boyfriend with our acne is not only the facials but also the products we use on our skin. Diet helped me initially with calming my acne but everyone is different. My boyfriend has never changed his diet he just has been coming here for treatments and it's reversed the texture he's had on his cheeks and helped minimize fine lines.
