I know sometimes mistakes happen, but it's how you handle the mistake is what sets you apart. This company dropped the ball on my wedding day. My wife, who planned and designed our wedding, was stressed the day because delivery took forever. They called her event designer friend a b**ch, and did not deliver all we had rented and paid for. After spending thousands, my wife had to beg them for our rightful refund, and after receiving it, she was told not to do business with them again! It's disappointing because just when you think black businesses are doing better, they show you yet again why we are still behind. Be careful spending your money here. read more

Our company decided to treat 70 employees to a lunch at the last minute so I had to find tables and chairs to rent. Mariano actually answered the phone on my first try (2 other businesses just had voicemail). He was able to confirm our desired table and chair count at a very reasonable price. He arrived on time, set everything up and even pitched in to help us carry some drinks and ice, and get our tablecloths on the tables. He asked if we needed help with anything else before he left. Even though he brought the number of tables we'd asked for, when he saw the seating would be sufficient, he asked whether we wanted the additional tables, and adjusted our invoice DOWN. We were only charged for the tables we actually used! The white tables and chairs were clean and sturdy. The payment options were very flexible, too. They provided us with a 20x50 tent, 6 round tables, 2 straight tables, a 16' x 16' dance floor, 60 fruitwood padded chairs, audio & video equipment, and linens for the tables. When our venue fell apart for our 6-year-old's birthday party, we were left wondering how to accommodate 30 guests in a backyard with no place to sit and no outdoor tables. At the very last minute (i.e. 2 days before the party), with one phone call to Esquivel Events, they delivered tables, chairs, and tablecloths in colors matching the party decorations and cake! Mariano and Sharlene are wonderful. We started planning our party 2 months before the event date. The week prior, the weather turned very cold and we added heaters. Two days before the weather warmed up but it was going to storm badly that Saturday so we took off most of the heaters and added a 20x40 tent with lights. The accommodated our last-minute order changes, set-up the tent Friday, and it all looked beautiful. Sunday, they came and took it all down, hauled it all away, and it was as if nothing had ever been there. The workers were friendly and helpful. I can't say enough about this company.
