We…read morewanted a wedding that was a continuous energy flow and that didn't single out just one age group. After looking through our wedding photos and video footage, it's safe to say that Jeremy was able to accomplish just that. We hired Jeremy for his dj service and phhhoto booth service. The phhhoto booth was quite simply the crowd-pleaser of the night. All my guests wanted to try it out, and it was such a modern touch to our wedding. Seriously....the coolest thing ever. Our wedding went from 160 people to 260 people one week before the wedding, and bc of that our wedding ran the risk each second of becoming just a giant cluster. Due to Jeremy's proactive nature and experience with connecting and engaging with audiences, he successfully created and maintained the atmosphere we wanted our guests to experience. Jeremy, along with our other fabulous vendors, made our wedding exactly what we wanted....a magical day with an Austin flare.

My fiancee (now husband!) and I had attended the expo with the sole intention of researching photo-booths. That's when we stumbled onto On the Flipside. We hopped in front of their cameras and acted like kids for 15 seconds. The book was printed, cut and stapled a minute later. We were HOOKED! We ran into our venue coordinator at that same expo and showed her all of our research. However, the thing we were MOST excited about was the flipbook, which she had also never ever seen before. She was so impressed by them that she negotiated with Kristy to work our wedding at no cost to us. When we got this news, I swear to you, we reacted as though we had just won the lottery. We were SO EXCITED to have the On The Flipside Mobile Flipbook Studio at our wedding. Throughout the process, Kristy and her designers were incredibly helpful and attentive. They helped us design our personalized flipbook covers (which turned out beautiful!), and were very professional every step of the way. They were amazing on the actual wedding day, too. They arrived early to set up and their take-down was not distracting at all. Our guests LOVED the flip books. I can not even begin to describe how amazing it felt to see serious people like my 80 year old Abuelito get in front of the camera in an Elvis costume and revert to a 4 year-old child for 15 seconds. It warmed my heart so much to see our guests have such a good time and to also be able to take home such a unique gift. Additionally, my husband and I were given a cute bag with a few copies of the "best" flipbooks for us to have as memories forever. I will cherish those forever and ever. If you want something truly unique at your wedding that also serves as a great ice-breaker, On The Flipside Mobile Flipbook Studio is the way to go! It will really set a fun tone for your wedding reception!

I was sooooooo upset, but this was a very important event!! Then I talked to AJ, and he sounded sorry, so I thought I'd give him another chance. He said he would do my next event for free and even gave me $100 as a deposit. So I took him up on it, realizing that people make mistakes. So I had him schedule our vow renewal reception/25th wedding anniversary celebration... He said he had it on his calendar and was all set with props and everything. I kept calling/texting AJ ROUTINELY before the event and my event coordinator called him the week prior and everything looked good. He was supposed to come at 6, NO SHOW! I called him at 6:15 and all he said was "oh shoot. I'm in Houston." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!!?????? AJ didn't even seem to feel bad.....UNBELIEVABLE. A lot of the same people from the first event were at this event and they were FLOORED. (Not only was it awful not to have the photobooth at our anniversary, but it was such a distraction to the night in general b/c it became a WTF stir) HORRIBLE BUSINESS.!! I"d turn the other direction if I were you!!. I TAKE BACK my 4-star review believing in my heart he would make it right. I should have made him give me $1,000 deposiit. Live and learn.

I emailed the week of to confirm the date and received no response. I then called the day before the event and Phillis apologized and said they would be here. They were supposed to arrive at 9am today to set up and start the event at 9:30am. Phillis called at 9am saying they were running 24 minutes late. The address says they are only 34 minutes away so I was confused on why they were almost 30 minutes late. I should have read reviews on Google and Yelp prior to booking. It looks like they have a history of being late to events. :( Upon arrival, Phillis apologized and said they can stay late to make up the time. Unfortunately, my preschoolers are on a schedule. We have lunch time, naptime, etc. The train arrived in pieces on the back of a pick up truck. Once they put it all together it seemed they had trouble getting it started. At some point Phillis left. She didn't tell me she was leaving nor did she introduce the 2 gentleman that stayed. The 2 men that assisted with the train hardly spoke English. One stood under a tree on his phone during parts of the event. The driver drove SO fast the first time we had to ask him to slow down. There are no seatbelts or bars to keep the children safe on the train. The driver didn't even have mirrors to see the passengers. **PLEASE add rear view mirrors to your train so the driver can see the passengers behind and know when to stop or slow down.** The train worked after the first 2 groups then died. Our next class had to wait in the heat until they got it started again...but thank goodness it started! I shortened the train ride event and we ended early. I only know of 2 trackless train companies in Austin. I will go back to the company we've use in the past.
