I've used this place twice now and they are fantastic. I'm no professional event planner by any means but when I was in college I was in charge of my fraternities social events which would run around $2000-$6000 on average. I was in a different city and every option we tried there for rentals was always a horrible experience. Fast-forward to me living in Austin now and I've used these guys for a surprise and NYE party and both times it could not have been a smoother, friendlier, and easier process. I love Miscellaneous Rentals and highly recommend them! They provided items for my wedding (dishes, glasses, flatware, linens, and games), and they were fantastic to work with! I had to make a lot of changes to my order over the course of a few months, and every person I communicated with was friendly, helpful, super quick to respond, and had no problem making any necessary adjustments. They were willing to work with me on pickup and dropoff time, which was so incredibly helpful to our timeline. The items we got were all nice and in good condition, and they were priced really well. Pickup was quick and transport was easy, and it was easy to pack things up and return them thanks to their efficient packaging of the items. I received EXCELLENT customer service from Allison. I voiced a concern about a specific rental policy not really expecting anything to happen from it. After we hang up, she must have immediately gone to work with her team then called me back not 2 minutes later with a solution to make sure I had a great experience with the company. I needed a few tables for an event. I contacted Miscellaneous on a Wednesday, had the reservation on Thursday, then the event was cancelled the morning I as supposed to pick them up (Friday). I called and said I wouldn't need the tables after all and they refunded me immediately without me even asking. That is great service and I will definitely call them next time I need an event rental! read more

Delivered 11 tables and 110 chairs a day late for a weekend celebration. I called to ask where they were an hour after the tables were to be delivered on a Friday, and they admitted the mistake was on their end, then wanted to charge an additional fee for delivery that night. I just made due on Friday and had them deliver on Saturday. Then they have the nerve to charge an additional fee for us not breaking down a couple of tables for their pick up. The delivery guys were great, it was just the mean lady in the billing department I guess. It's unfortunate, as all my rentals will be going to another company because of her. read more

Best rental company in town. I know their main clientele is mainly big budget movie and event production stuff. I've used them for smaller party rentals (tables, chairs, heaters, tents, etc), and one wedding. They are straight up pros that deliver on time, and are always very thorough and friendly. 100% reliable, with great customer service. read more

I rented some basic bicycle pit stop equipment for an unofficial MS 150 pit stop. With only 2 days notice, Misc pulled the stuff together and had it waiting for me when I arrived to pick it up. Drop off and check-in was just as easy. They were very flexible on the return time, though maybe just because the equipment wasn't in demand. read more

They have a great selection, are fairly reasonably priced, and their items are all in good shape! We paid extra for weekend delivery and pick up and the guys that were sent were awesome! I wish I could remember their names, but they were on time and even helped us take down some hard to reach decorations when they came to pick up! We were so grateful!
