The showroom process went smoothly and they allowed us plenty of time to figure out what worked well together once we could see everything in person. Wonderful event rentals down south. I really appreciate their follow through whether it's a phone call to make sure you got what you needed or a friendly reminder to pick up your items before they close. I had trouble with a couple of high boy table tops not attaching properly so I made sure to film it, along with the other tables so they knew it wasn't user error and I didn't have any issues receiving a refund for the defective table tops. I was scrambling to find white pads for Chiavari chairs that I rented in Shreveport, LA. I contacted premiere, as well as several other rental companies in Dallas (in between Austin and Shreveport) and companies in Dallas referred me back to premiere! This is a late post, that should have been done in May. May 2014, I ordered a toddler table and chairs for my Goddaughters Birthday, from Premiere Events via Carrie Montoya. I would like to express how wonderful the service was, and that it was about customer service not customer sale! Mrs. Montoya not only worked well with me and other friends I have sent, she also seems to work well with her staff members. From everyone I have sent agrees that she has a very warm rapport with everyone she comes in contact with. It is apparent that she clearly enjoys the "people" aspect of her position. Consistently answers the phone with a smile and a friendly hello, skillfully manages all but the most challenging customer situations, and enjoys identifying "out-of-the-box" solutions for clients with special needs. When I moved out to Driftwood, I felt a bit far from the all the city action....so, I created my own action by having house concerts. But I knew my couch and love seat weren't enough so I found Premiere Events because they have a location in Dripping Springs for pick up and drop off. I've used them many times now for chairs for the shows and even if I totally flake and forget to order til last minute (in wedding season even!), they always have been able to accommodate me. I've been planning a pretty elaborate corporate holiday party, and have been working with different event companies throughout the process. In my disappointment with the recommended event company I had been "working with", I came across Premiere Events and started checking out their website. I was pretty skeptical when I saw the "questions? chat with us live!" box pop up in the corner of my screen, but I figured--why not! I shot a message out to see if I could start discussing a quote, and before I knew it I was chatting away with a super friendly guy named Trace, getting all of the answers and more that I had been waiting weeks to hear back about from the other company that shall remain nameless. I was so impressed with his willingness to help, and the fact that he went above and beyond by mocking up a site map, detailing measurements, and giving me super honest pricing options--all within 20 minutes of being on the site! The sad news is that because of an exclusivity deal with EventCompanyWhoShallNotBeNamed, I am unable to work with Premiere Events for our event. Regardless, Trace has since acted as a consultant of types, by giving me a few event suggestions even after he knew we wouldn't be able to give them our business. Such a classy move, and it speaks for the company as a whole. I hope to work with these guys more in the future, but for now I can attest to their spectacular customer service--something that is a tough find in this space. We used Premiere Events for our chairs, tables, linens, and tents for our wedding on 4/16/16. Our rep Trace did an amazing job helping us with the rental process, making selections, and has the patience of a saint as rain came into the forecast for our outdoor wedding. Our wedding had some indoor space, but was primarily outdoors for 150 people. As rain loomed, we called and emailed Trace, making several changes to our order, and working with Trace to increase our tent order. Fortunately, we had one tent on rain plan and Trace and his manager made an exception for us to get us an additional tent, clear-top, in the largest sizes that would fit our venue. There was some miscommunication on our venue's part, and the Premiere setup team arrived to our venue without our on-site manager on hand. My now-husband stopped by for another reason and found the staff had been patiently waiting for perhaps nearly an hour! We are very grateful that this team is so professional that they stuck around and setup quickly once they had direction. Also to note - we had been told by other rental services that a tent couldn't be setup in the space we needed for reasons to complicated to explain here. Premiere's team had no issues setting up the tents at all. Lastly, all of our rentals were in great condition. No complaints! The clear-top tents were perfect. Our draping came out beautifully. We also rented a table for our ceremony, but we were a bit disappointed in its condition, which was fairly rusty and arrived with a dead bug on it. These guys have sales maybe 3 or 4 times a year. Each sale consist of something different: for example in July's sale will be half off chairs and November's sales with be 10% off linen. I'm not sure when the sales are, if they are specific dates each year or randomly selected. Anyway, if you hire a planner they should be well aware of the sales. We ordered chairs through PPC and saved a lot on budget because we got them on sale. We ended up not using as many chairs as paid for (non refundable) but was able to use the credit towards napkins. Score! We weren't charged an extra delivery fee for the napkins. We hired a planner so I didn't notice any complaints during set up or tear down. Great company! read more

I wanted to personally thank the team at Premiere for doing an amazing job setting up, being flexible with our small venue space and the times (The Sanctuary at the Amala Foundation), and working with us on the changes that occurred throughout the planning. We changed our minds multiple times due to the small event space and having to "flip" the venue with chairs and tables. Abbey at Premiere helped us work out possible solutions, let us keep the tables overnight to help keep the cost down and in general was not just a salesperson, but a confidant in our wedding. Deseree McCormick at the south location assisted me and she spent a lot of time helping me look at many different ideas for a backdrop. She was so patient as we looked at various linen colors, designs, and delivery options. She even helped me visualize it with a rendering. I worked with Abigail for our wedding and rehearsal dinner in April and everything worked out beautifully. I was doing the planning myself and had no idea where to begin with rentals. When I called Premiere (at 4:45pm!) Abbey spent an hour on the phone with me helping me to piece together everything I would need. She emailed the quote right after we got off the phone. I was looking for long dark wood vineyard tables. Though Premiere did not have enough for my guest count, Abbey spoke to her boss and said that they would be willing to acquire more if necessary. I ended up getting tables from a different rental place because of sizing and style and such, but it was lovely that Premiere was willing to be so accommodating. My florist and I spent two hours with Abbey at the show room playing with table setting design... it was fun! Throughout the process I made many changes to my order and called/emailed with many questions - they were always responsive and polite. Also my venue (Umlauf Sculpture Garden) had a very specific timeline which Premiere was very good about adhering to. The only suggestion I would make is that they carry more options for tablecloths in natural fibers. They did have cotton/linen in a few colors. I am not a fan of polyester tablecloths... But they did have Bengaline-pattern-silk ones (probably a poly-blend) that were pretty good. Also they sent me a lovely gift card as a thank you! My HOA is planning on organizing a neighborhood event on a weekday night, in a grassy common area. I walked into Premier Event Rental at 11810 Manchaca Rd. at 4:55pm and there were three employees with their feet up on the desk talking but clearly didn't want to deal with me 5 minutes to close. So they gave me the number to an associate I needed to call the next day. This associate, "Carrie," was short and curt from the moment she answered the phone. I told her i needed 50 chairs for an outdoor event, some tarp and lighting for along the road. It was a painful call because I had to work hard to get her to tell me what she could do, and she grew impatient when I started asking about what kinds of lights they had. When we finally got through that, she told me the company would drop the everything off on the side of the road up to SIX hours before the event, and would be back later the next day to pick it up. Now, my event is from 7:00PM to 10:00PM, so dropping everything off in the street and leaving it there all day, as well as overnight and into the day after is not cool, especially since she reminded me that I am solely responsible for it. ME: "Can you at least come later in the day and drop the stuff off?" Carrie: "No, we have a 6-hour window for dropping equipment off." ME: "Really? You're a mile from my house." Carrie: "Sir, it is your responsibility, not ours. Most people hire security to watch the equipment." ME: "Um, we're an HOA, not a promotional company. That's the best you can do?" And so, the conversation went downhill, She didn't even email the quote as she said she would at the beginning of the call...not that I would ever use them. It's just another example of horrendous customer service at its finest. I don't even think she's aware of her problems, and sadly, I'm sure her boss doesn't either. I then called Austin's World of Rentals at 5812 Trade Center Dr., and the experience was like night and day. They were COURTEOUS, ACCOMMODATING, and PROACTIVE. read more

Welcome to our nightmare. We used Premiere for our outdoor wedding last month to rent the tent, tables, chairs, linens, the bar as well as to handle our lighting and hang decorations in the tent. The customer service and the actual vendor items we received were deplorable. Emily was late for our meeting (which we had flown in for from California) and she actually left in the middle it...to go to lunch. She passed us off to someone who couldn't answer any questions and yet expected us to sign the contract and put down our deposits. Oh...but she didn't leave before she tried to upsell every. single. item. It was only by following along on my iPad that we even got to see the prices. She would hide items and pretend that two most expensive chair or table styles were the only ones available. We called her out on it again and again. Then she would pull the "ohhhh...I didn't think that cheap one was your style." Oh Emily...I love your Sales technique: shame 'em and sell 'em...but we are all adults here and that shit doesn't work on me. Show me everything and let me decide what my style is. Also, I'm not going to take style advice from a girl in a bump-it and stripper heels. And it was downhill from there. They tacked on fees -- including charging us double for the same item, which luckily we caught before signing the contract. They re-neged on the "10%" discount that our wedding planner was supposed to get. They changed the tent without notifying us and showed up with THE WRONG TENT on the day of setup. They made promises they couldn't keep -- like the lighting and the decor. We were stressed right up until hours before our event. Their screwups resulted in a cascade of problems from the other vendors. The second lighting crew we hired (once Premiere decided they couldn't hang lights) couldn't hang in the tent they sent. In short, they made our wedding an absolute nightmare. Luckily they did the right thing by refunding half of our money for the WRONG TENT but not before my husband had to spend our wedding day kicking ass. I did not find any of this out until later because he did not want my day to be ruined like his was, but even a 50% refund can't make up for the amount of stress incurred. On a side note, we should have turned tail and run after we walked in and saw a stack of tires -- spray-painted white for, you know, weddings -- that was used as a cocktail table. And it's in the display window as if it is their shining pride and joy. If that's not a sign that you are about to experience some of the most hideous, tacky and cheap decor you are ever going to see I don't know what is. From the plastic tables that can barely stand up to the polyester tablecloths that will probably catch on fire if a tea light spills on them to single most uncomfortable "cubes" that they try to pass off as "modern wedding" dance floor decor... If you have a burning love of overpriced crap, being rented to you by unscrupulous vendors, go here. But please go in with your eyes open and make sure you have the time and energy to question and follow through on every single item on your contract. It is the only way you will be able to rest easy on your wedding day. read more

First of all when I picked up I was in a big fat hurry... I assume they have this often and didn't feel like, as a customer I needed to slow down for them. The lady (owner in guessing) bent her knees and with her condescending, come-hither finger gestured me into her office. Then she asked me to sit down a number of times when I already expressed my urgency. I rented a divider to separate my booth from others at an event. Was not user friendly, came with no instructions to put together and weighed at least 100 lbs each base. When I expressed how we weren't able to use the bulky equipment (more like circus set up, not even kidding) they rented to me, nor did we even use the linens, I got a "sorry mam, you took them." They also mentioned they ran out of the usual dividers that I requested and gave me the circus equipment instead. It's incredible to me how people honestly believe thats how you keep existing business. If they cared anything at all about my business, they would've made it right and refunded me. You didn't lose money this time, but you lost it in the long run, because I will never rent from you again. I say your equipment didn't help me out, you tell me tough luck. Not customer service. Greedy and not caring about customers. Not good business. read more

They have sales throughout the year so I was able to get much of my rentals at a discount. Everything showed up on time. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because they didn't set up everything exactly how they were told to. This was an easy fix though and other than that their service was spot on. read more

I want to give it up for TRACE! who provided our team at Whole Foods Market with the best possible customer service...ever. I had just about a month to pull together tents and rentals for a mini festival in celebration of our 365 store opening in Cedar Park and not only did Trace and Co. make tents available with little notice during an incredibly busy weekend for Premiere but he also contracted several outside vendors for us (barriers, water truck, generator) that all worked out perfectly. To boot, you wouldn't event believe the efficiency and speed with which the delivery/setup team popped up 27 tents (including two large ones!) the morning of our event. Absolutely incredible operation! This was the biggest event I have planned to date and it was invaluable to have such tremendous support from our rental partner.
