I kept calling/texting AJ ROUTINELY before the event and my event coordinator called him the week prior and everything looked good. He was supposed to come at 6, NO SHOW! I called him at 6:15 and all he said was "oh shoot. I'm in Houston." ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME!!!!!?????? AJ didn't even seem to feel bad.....UNBELIEVABLE. A lot of the same people from the first event were at this event and they were FLOORED. We ran into our venue coordinator at that same expo and showed her all of our research. However, the thing we were MOST excited about was the flipbook, which she had also never ever seen before. She was so impressed by them that she negotiated with Kristy to work our wedding at no cost to us. When we got this news, I swear to you, we reacted as though we had just won the lottery. We were SO EXCITED to have the On The Flipside Mobile Flipbook Studio at our wedding. Throughout the process, Kristy and her designers were incredibly helpful and attentive. They helped us design our personalized flipbook covers (which turned out beautiful!), and were very professional every step of the way. They were amazing on the actual wedding day, too. They arrived early to set up and their take-down was not distracting at all. Our guests LOVED the flip books. I can not even begin to describe how amazing it felt to see serious people like my 80 year old Abuelito get in front of the camera in an Elvis costume and revert to a 4 year-old child for 15 seconds. Their pricing is very competitive, compared to other photo booths we looked into. The photo booth itself is so cute, with a red velvet curtain and a touch screen where you can see yourself as the pictures are being taken. They provided lots of fun props for our guests and the option for guests to print their photos on-site. We chose to have two prints made; one copy for our guests to take home and one for them to leave in our photo album. They even customized the printouts with our names and wedding date. After our wedding, we received a disc with digital copies of all of the photos our guests took. Priceless! I think some of our guests spent the entire reception in the photo booth :P I especially loved dealing with Christian and Amanda since they are a local, family-run business, and they truly care about customer service. It's was our wedding and I looked forward to people having a keepsake but instead my guest got photos with someone else's name. Once we told the person operating it, she had to cut the ends off each and every photo taking up time that should of been spent allowing other guests to take photos . I am not sure how she didn't realize that this is clearly not Adrians party and a wedding. Common sense much? Not to mention she arrived late and left early. Either way it should of been a red flag in the very beginning when the communication was just terrible with the company. If you are looking for something that will turn out nice for a wedding I recommend going with a more professional company. It was incredibly disappointing and wish I could do it over but I can't!
