Her patience with young kids and dogs is incredible and never once did we feel rushed despite my toddler refusing to get in front of the camera for a good 30 minutes. I hired her again and she also shot me and my extended family (3 generations including toddlers and dog) and everyone felt comfortable and had fun too. You might feel awkward and think there's no way we took any good photos in the chaos of kids, dogs, and grandparents moving about but she has the magic touch of capturing your best moments you're not even aware of. She's also a dream to work with on post-production edits and her gallery interface is so easy to use for viewing and downloading. I cannot recommend Laura enough - she'll be our family photographer for YEARS to come!

She took my photos but also got to know me and who I am as a person... which is hardly true for many pictures that are taken. We shot indoors and outdoors and then I got pictures back (with edits) and I felt like I could be on the cover of a fashion editorial. If you are looking for nice pictures, wedding portraits, or anything else I would definitely recommend her. So polished and professional. So easy. Please, you will not regret it.

We had our allotted time changed FOUR times, one was because I was sick and did not want to pass it along. She did not scout the area in advance so much of the time was spent looking for a spot that worked. She originally told me that she did not have time to do my makeup but when I showed up with makeup from another salon she said she needs to touch it. This is so she can put it onto her social media saying she did it. I told her no. Her husband said my make-up and hair (paid and done by someone else) was do-able. I hate that every time I look back at these photos I will remember how horrible Yona made me feel about myself. She constantly told me to suck it in, move a certain way so I wouldn't look like i had a stomach, a double chin or hunched. I explained to her that some of this is due to the fabric of the dress and not myself. But the other half was due to pandemic weight that I was consciously trying to loose. The photos that we ended up using were the ones that we suggested and arranged. We cut the shoot short because I was tired of not being supported in my shoot. We paid about $250-$300 for a small edited group of photos. **disclaimer** yona reached out to me on Instagram about the review and her 1st response was I got the number of edited photos sent to me. I deleted said number and put some. She did not apologize for making me feel bad or about her remarks. She is not a woman that supports other women.
