I had a client who was not so happy with her wedding photographer but was in LOVE with his engagement session shooter. Guess who that was? They loved loved Jenna! I honestly have not had the honor of working with Jenna on the professional level but think its much more important to describe what it's like on a client level. We (my husband and I) are not photogenic people. We hate posing for photos unless we have had something to drink (and by something I mean a lot!). But I knew our time for couple photos on our wedding was limited (though our photographer then did a great job!) and we scheduled this session with Jenna. I loved working with Jenna because she would shout directions at us. She wouldn't force us into anything but a little guidance is always appreciated - especially for those of us who DON 'T model you know? She literally made a 2ft width space of grass look like a field...who does that???!!!??? Thank you Jenna!!!!!

She is unique from other wedding photographers that I saw in that her photos portray colors vividly and boldly. She has an incredibly inclusive and diverse business and is accepting of all different wedding and couple types! Jenna as a person really tries to get to know you and she even took us out to dinner just to chat a few weeks before our big day! We absolutely loved our photos from our engagement shoot and our wedding - most of the important moments were captured in beautifully vivid color. We had an Indian fusion wedding and chose her because we saw another Indian fusion wedding she had done in which we fell in love with her photography style. That said, there is a certain dramatic style and culturally specific type of photos that Indian weddings usually have and I felt that I missed out on some of those types of photos (even though we are not a fan of overly dramatic to begin with and she already adds a good amount of drama to her photos!). There could have been a little more cultural exploration there and of course that will come with her practicing on Indian weddings. Regardless, I am so glad I took a chance on her because we were really happy with the results for a totally reasonable price for wedding photographers. Would certainly recommend her in general! And for Indian weddings, just make sure you work with her to tell and show her exactly what you're looking for, but she can definitely give you the drama you're looking for!

Brandon has the ability to make you feel incredibly comfortable in front of the lens, and the resulting photographs do not at all feel "posed" in a prom photo-like way because you are at ease throughout the process. During our engagement session and on our wedding day it felt more like we were hanging out with a good friend who just so happened to be skillfully snapping photos of us while we were chatting. He has a great eye and is not afraid to gently nudge you outside of your comfort zone to get a great shot, all the while respecting your tolerance levels for how far you're willing to trek through brush and up sandy hills, for example. I know that I will cherish my photos for years to come, and I can't thank Brandon enough for sharing his craft with the world and with my husband and I in particular. Annie Ray can make anybody look cool…read more Her "photobooth" photography style is edgy and fun, in no small part because of her incredibly likeable personality and the way she eggs on her subjects like some kind of totally cliche French photographer ("Give me more! Give me more!"). Yet her subjects catch her enthusiasm and channel their inner goofball/badass/child/whatever, striking ridiculous poses, making faces they would never otherwise make in public, even taping gross, who-knows-where-this-has-been fake moustaches under their noses to help them get into character. Yet somehow, magically, everyone looks hip and cool and funky and lively in the end product. Or maybe everyone looks totally dorky and ridiculous, but it doesn't matter, because all your friends look that way in their shots, too. Annie Ray is some kind of photographic genius. Attention closet models! Annie Ray is your photog!…read more Some people may ask "Why do all these folks feel the need to act a fool in front of cameras?? I don't get that behavior." Well, partially it's to have a physical memory of the event and the friends we love. But mostly it's cause an Annie Ray photo shoot is like a ride at Six Flags. It's a "weeeeeee" kinda fun where you can be as adventurous and loud and silly as you dare. When the ride is over, most folks get right back in line again. And just like a rollercoaster ride, you can end up with a crazy pic of your adventure. But Annie Ray specifically as a photographer is a joy. She's ebullient, effervescent, energetic, and encouraging which is great when you are working with stoic camera shy boys like my hubby and bff. And she makes ME look good even tho I normally take horrible pictures. I can never get my face to act right (in fact, no telling how many of the 20 or so that she takes she pitches to only post a few on her site....). And she remembers people. Having worked many a Yelp party and working with countless faces, I am amazed that she remembers my name and when she met hubby last event, she was so excited and demanded we take more pictures of just us, encouraging him "Randy love Keri! Loooove her!"...which of course hubby took to mean "Stick your tongue in her ear!!". I always look forward to an Annie Ray photobooth. She is an Annie Ray of Sunshine!

She is so organized, patient, kind, and best yet, a true artist when it comes to photography! The way she perfectly captured the vibes and joy of our day continues to surprise me every time I look at the photos. She delivered our preview photos within two days of our wedding, and there were almost 200 (!!!) photos included in the preview, with more photos to come in the coming months.
